    Big Al,
Wait til they turn their attention back to the US of A. Boy, the PM’s will really jump then. The only reason, I believe Marshall said “to a lesser extent” the US in the interview is because Europe is dominating the headlines at the moment. When, the US is in the limelight again, and it will be, goodness – parabolic- might be the best world for the trend up! Finally, Europe’s troubles doesn’t give the US a “free pass” by any stretch of the imagination.

      HI Marc,

No the European situation does certainly not give the U.S. a free pass.

And, I agree with your comments re: “when attention is turned back to the U.S.”.

It all makes fundamental sense to me.

      Thanks for the comments,

      Big Al

Hello Marc, you wrote a great closing statement for the PMs.
We all know in this blog where this trip will end. We will have hyperDEflation in everything measured against real money, GOLD, and we will have hyperINflation in everything measured against paper dollars.
Yes, Mr. Irish, GOLD could become the NEW Religion… but only for a while.

I saw the movie the Desendants , very well done , great acting by the kids , as well as G. Clooney. the both deserve not only golden globe awards , but oscars. its a very sad movie however, well done with Great film of Hawaii outdoors. Also liked J Edgar with Di Caprio , very well acted the night time shots of the Capitol , were very good, not faked. these are both films only for adults, and have some very sad parts. go see them , just tor the Cinematogrofy , i think The Decendants may win oscar for best fotos . Morning Scott,

      Thanks for the tip.

We are planning on seeing The Descendants.

I would also highly recommend Midnight in Paris. Great example of what I have been telling my kids since day one, “Always follow your passion”!

      All the best,

      Big Al

The economy and the stock markets are not the same. They have some effects of course but keep them separate in your mind. Precious metals are undergoing heavy buying by central banks this year. Next, the IMF loans USA taxpayer dollars to bail out the pigs FOR THEIR GOLD AS COLLATERAL. THE OBJECTIVE IS GIVE THE M ENOUGH IN THE LOANS SO THEY HANG THEMSELVES AND TAKE THE GOLD WHEN THE LOANS FAIL. NOTICE MS. LARGARDE HAS BEEN TOSSING NEGATIVE FUEL ON THE EURO ECON FIRES THIS WEEK TO HURRY UP THE PROCESS. – TRADERROG

        Morning too!
A big snow storm is now coming…
I lived in Laguna Beach in the late 80ies. It was very nice there (with still affordable homes and housings then).
