    Al and Mr. Bulach.

I really appreciate this “part II” and it makes one feels discussions are highly valued. I understand the cooperative approach Mr. Bulach describes in the 1960s. It would be nice to also present the philosophy that underlined the american system, such as Adam Smith`s invisible hand. Yet, I had to be late in my 20`s to ever hear about it. To be honest, when I moved to the States and saw the taxes and SS deductions on my first paycheck, I concluded the communists had lost the physical war, but they certainly won the propaganda.

Since it sounds like you gentlemen will have discussions in the future, I’d like to hear Mr. Bulach`s take on the inter-generational schism created by the current system, where an uncle like me could not help a niece with her grammar due to new vocabulary defining the terms. I looked into this a little deeper and found it the schism present in almost all subject. Of course, now my niece thinks her uncle is not that smart, how edifying.

Anyway, I enjoy seeing this subject brought to the table. Investors know, just like you Al, that people make a business sucessful, and independant thinking often leads to unorthodox, yet rewarding, approaches. If everyone is to be made to fit the same mold, as the public education system seeks, independant thinking has to go. I don`t see this as a good thing.

If we look at creation as the work of God, we can conclude that He likes diversity. Conformity almost seems like the exact opposite.

Again, gentlemen, thanks for the discussion.

    HI missivedutexas,

I completely agree with your comment that God like diversity. That is my opinion. Anyone who tries to belittle that is not looking at the world with his/her eyes open.

Best and thanks for the comments,

The way classrooms are designed in the elementary schools where I live the students no longer face the front of the classroom where the teacher used to be instead they sit in groups of 3,4,or 5 around a table facing each other. I just see this as a distraction when it comes to learning especially in the primary grades where they need to be focussed on learning the basics before they carry on to a secondary level. In my opinion they should eliminate the physical clutter, replace the tables with individual desks that face the front of the room, in order to learn early on you need to listen to the facilitator in an orderly and disciplined manner. Many people these days can’t cook a proper meal or balance a checking account, that is very sad.

The trend toward charter schools and private schools is unmistakable. Home schooled kids spending only half the day in training are three years ahead of public school kids. Next: parents rebel on real estate taxes to cut off the public schools funding – Traderrog

@roger wiegand – That will take a big leap in reasoning. I see all taxes on possession or use (ownership, in effect, has been gone for a while) of assets as rent. Now where have I seen this before?

10 planks of the communist manifesto
First Plank: Abolition of property in land and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
