    Big Al,
Wow, G.Gordon is being “supported” by his daughter who is a VP for wealth management at Merrill Lynch?! Boy, I sure would LOVE to be a “fly on the wall” when they are talkin in private. Does gold and silver have a place in their conversations…um…I wonder.
    All the best,
    Marc
Boy, Big Al, if that last comment about China doesn’t wake people up – I don’t know what will….as you know, I agree 1000 percent…not 100…but 1000%….that is an inflation adjusted answer based on J Williams work. ha!

      May 17, 2012 17:05 AM

Sorry, I mean’t to say not”supported by” but his money is being “managed by”…common, Marc get it right. :).

Good interview BIG FELLA…..I believe a large number of people who did have savings, have had to break into them, …inflation…less work…lower wages…zero % interest on what savings they did have…even investing for ordinary people, has become a gamble, as it is such a rigged game run by manipulators, & its affection the middle class the most………..Regards the Euro surviving, i believe it will , & in order for it to survive i believe we will see Greece Portugal Spain & maybe Italy leave, with an option of coming back in at a later date , as you can se I have not included Ireland, for the one simple, that Ireland are trying hard to sort their economy out . I also believe the new form of the Euro will have some sort of gold backing………..Well thats my two penny’s worth. PS loved the music MR GORDON , played at the break….a man of good taste.

        May 17, 2012 17:15 AM

        Mr. Irish,
I like your style…especially with the music..right on!

        May 17, 2012 17:38 AM

IRISH,,,ARE YOUR PENNYS BIGGER THAN THE US PENNYS…

          May 17, 2012 17:03 PM

HI JERRY…………I see you’r having trouble spelling PENIS………..OOOPS am i going to get away with that? …To answer you’r question who gives a TUPPENCE.

            May 17, 2012 17:29 PM

DO NOT WORRY…AL’S PARTYING WITH THE G MAN TONITE….
PLUS , I UNDERSTAND HE LOST HIS GLASSES, ON THE PLANE,

        May 18, 2012 18:10 AM

HI is a very interesting man, Mr. Irish.

I would venture to say that he is not the first nor the last person to get caught up in some of the political B.S.! What do you think?

        Big Al

      May 18, 2012 18:08 AM

      Morning Marc,

Is he being supported by his daughter or is his daughter and her son living with him in his house.

I would be curious to know. I will say I had a very interesting conversation with Jeff about G. Gordon.

Got our tickets yesterday. Club level so the whole atmosphere should be great!

      Big Al

        May 18, 2012 18:29 PM

        Awesome!

    May 17, 2012 17:11 AM

China will have its moments, all economies do, but we should be listening to those that actually live there and not from investors who just travel there. Dan Collins lives in China and has so for the last 15 years, and Jim Rogers as well. They both are saying that China will suffer problems and contraction but their future for growth is phenomenal still…they got a long way to go to be where they want to be. GM and Chrysler sell more cars in China than the U.S. Las Vegas Sands generates only 11% of its revenue from the U.S and Wynn Resorts gets about 28% from the U.S. – the vast majority of their revenues comes from China. The average Chinese citizen who is working is demanding more hours from their employers and are much more educated than the average Boobus americanus.

      May 17, 2012 17:15 PM

MARK…BOOBUS AMERICANUS………..love it haha………Sod it lets have a comedy hour on the KEREPORT while the BOSS is away.. Castenheiro can start the ball rolling.

        May 17, 2012 17:35 PM

I think Castenheiro stepped in front of the ball and got crushed. he seems to be “unavoidably detained” :[

          May 17, 2012 17:43 PM

          Hey gang,
I heard my name mentioned. Whew, shakin’ my head, trying to get the cobwebs out. Something ran over me, knocked me down, and I bumped my head. What’s goin’ on?….What, something about a ‘funny ha ha’ party?…. what’s, what’s BOOBUS AMERICANUS? Is that anything like the difference between Irish and American “PENNYS”? Man, my head still hurts…….Gonna’ take two aspirin and go to bed.

            May 18, 2012 18:41 AM

Good to see you back, Mr. C!

            Big Al

            May 18, 2012 18:42 PM

Thank you Big Al. Good to be back too.

    May 17, 2012 17:13 AM

    Al:

    Good interview.

I wonder if we may be seing a reversal in the conventional wisdom whereby a strong dollar doesn’t necessarily mean lower PM prices given what is happening in Greece and Spain and with the Euro? Will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow with the PM’s…….I understanding some bottom feeding as well as short covering is occuring……………

      May 17, 2012 17:23 AM

It’s good to see your cynicism of gold’s rally today. Mark is showing the same wisdom. If we close weekly tomorrow above the weekly close of December, that’s a good sign for the interim period. We in all liklihood will move up another $30.00-40.00 next week where there will be strong resistance. If you notice, not many PM stocks responded strongly today. It’ll take a time for them to build a little base before they’ll have any desire to move higher. If the conventional markets continue to move down, it’ll be difficult for anything to gain any traction until you see the whites of the eyes of the Fed and ECB. We will see a big response in the ECB in the near future since I believe we are on the precipice of contagion amongst the banks. It was a good time to purchase some PMs this week. If we hold in this area and continue to trade sideways while the conventional markets break down, it’ll be a very good sign. The dollar should continue to strenghthen.

        May 17, 2012 17:29 AM

        Thanks Doc..as always.
        Marc
And, yes, I believe in HEALTHY skepticism – short term anyway NOT long term….short term. We will wait and see….

          May 17, 2012 17:43 AM

Marc, you’re correct. I continue to very bullish in the prices for PMs. We’re a LOOONG way from the top. It’s just going to take some patience—-like 6-8 years. We’re in the secular bull market of all time. The stocks will eventually respond but it’ll take time for them to base. I’m in no hurry although I’m purchasing some juniors that have gotten crushed and washed out. I’ll hold them for years until the mining stocks have their day. I always wait for assets to enter a period where noone wants them and then purchase at bargain prices and hold. I figure if I can double or triple my investment in 5 years, I’m doing pretty well. Also, the GDXJ may be basing. I’ll give you my opinion on that in the next week if I feel that is the case technically.

            May 18, 2012 18:18 AM

Looks like we have the same philosophy, Doc!

            Big Al

        May 17, 2012 17:34 AM

Richard,(anybody) did you happen to see Fitswilson (sp) on kwn?
        What you think?
Another option powers that be have I suppose.

        May 17, 2012 17:56 AM

        Afternoon Doc!

Yes, it’s nice to see the PMs move today but we still have to close above the target i mentioned two days ago of $1564, which is the close on last week December. But we could see another overnight drop in the metals short term, don’t know but the momentum indicators are still supportive of lower prices if we can’t close above our targets. Miners will probably show choppiness if we are hitting a bottom – that’s typical of any stock after it gets taken to the woodshed. I don’t think we are going to see any major spikes up unless some really BIG event comes out like 1.5+ trillion dollar QE from either ECB or the FED, or a combination of both. There we have Israel again in the news showing off their war room and wanting to hit Iran before the end of the Summer..

        stay frosty people

          May 18, 2012 18:20 AM

          Morning Mark Alan,

At this moment, staying frosty (and very alert) is the smartest we all can do!

          Big Al

          May 18, 2012 18:14 PM

          HI Again Mark Alan,

The $1564 was breached this week. Let’s see where we are one week from today!

          Big Al

        May 17, 2012 17:02 AM

        Doc:

Some of the large quality miners up nicely today.
        GG 6.23%
        ABX 5.42%
        CDE 3.08%

I agree that a few good days does not a trend make. Next week will be interesting…………..

          May 17, 2012 17:31 PM

I bought some washed out juniors today and am watching the GDXJ closely. The next week will be very interesting.

        May 18, 2012 18:17 AM

Off a bit at this moment, Doc! (U.S. dollar)

The close today will be interesting!

        Big Al

          May 18, 2012 18:15 PM

          HI Doc,

Yep the close today was interesting – all RED!

          Big Al

      May 18, 2012 18:15 AM

As of this moment Dai Uy, gold and silver are both up; the Dow is off about 150 points and the dollar is down.

Let’s see at the close, but it would appear that most of our family is correct at this point!

Interesting interview as both have been both – interviewer and interviewee respectively.
    3 Q’s and no conclusion:

    * market manipulation – hmm, not really says Gordon and Al; While Al had eemingly some problems with that.
I’d guess, let’s just call it market management; Otherwise we’d not the Pres’ group of market observers, dubbed the PPT or Plunge Protection Team. So that item was kind of a stale non-argument.
** Euro – will it survive – maybe not in todays format; Still the US has and is intervening in the EU, its € and its major banks. As an Austrian I can say – hey, we’ve never had a better economy as our Schilling was more or less tied to the D-Mark, like the Benelux countries, while other EU countries kept within a small bandwith of fluctuation called the snake.
*** US-$ as global reserve currency – after Bretton Woods 1943 and winning WWII, the Marshall Plan and the gold backing (at least for balancing foreign trade via gold settlement) and becoming also the oil trade currency (thanks to its military status and its diplomatist venture in Saudi Arabia) and lastly the vast volume of Reserve Dollar trade settlements was not even questioned for as long as the link (as weak as it already has become) to gold was maintained.
After the London Gold Pool fiasco of Johnson, his successor tricky Dick Nixon declared any gold relation to currency as null and void in Aug. of 1971 and a new unheard of paper paradigm of floating currencies vs each other took over the (ir-redeemable) realm of trade and cash settlements as a go between. No settlements in have in reality been consumed, and the IMF, WB, ECB, FED et al came up with the scam of SDR’s (special drawing rights) as lender of last resort. That never, ever made it to be recognised as a real alternative to gold! Some 40y’s ago I’ve been lucky enough to partake in a seminar about this thesis by Dr. kurt Richebaecher, the last true Austrian economist, speaker of Dresdner bank and editor of his own acclaimed letter (published by Agora). And lastly I’ve been more than lucky to entice him to speak on the first ever Munich PM Show in 2001.
Meanwhile, Al, please be so kind as to let us know your sincere l.t. strategy, in absence of better terms, and is it pm’s in physical and/or in the ground form, or is it just a place to park your family fortunes in opportune times.
Well, that seems a bit far fetched just now, though I’m even questioning my own intelligence of not diversifying more of my pm portfolio more to the tune of balancing risks.
    Well, I’m NOT!
The only risk I’m willing to take today is the risk of getting no return on my money, though getting my money returned!

      May 18, 2012 18:47 AM

      Morning frr,

I believe that I stated that the U.S. $ would not remain the world’s reserve currency and that the euro would not survive.

Regarding the manipulation issue, that is a matter of semantics. Are there organizations able to control the markets? Of course there are. We all learned that back in Econ. 101

      Best,

      Big Al

    May 17, 2012 17:42 AM

AL, I AM ALSO, GLAD THAT I AM THE AGE I AM….63…THIS MAY BE THE LAST GREAT

You keep increasing your “cents worth”!! Is inflation hittin ya already?

        May 17, 2012 17:37 PM

I just thought that it was in fashion , since, we were talking about gay marriages,
and ….Irish, said…” it was as queer as a three dollar bill…”

          May 17, 2012 17:58 PM

          May 18, 2012 18:48 AM

          Oh, oh!

That is right, Mr. Irish did use a politically incorrect phrase!

Okay, I will be sending some folks over to talk with him!

          Big Al

      May 17, 2012 17:38 PM

      Jerry:

You are indeed lucky………………a lot of your fellow baby boomers, with all their insights, hope and promises, will hopefully partially fund my retirement. Perhaps those behind you will figure it out…………………….

        May 18, 2012 18:30 PM

Dai….how old are you…..just like to know…..just to see the ages of the different
people on the site……gives a more personal touch…..Plus Irish has jokes lined up
for the different age groups he is planning on entertaining…..

      May 18, 2012 18:47 AM

Unfortunately, In the Box, I must agree with you!

      Big All

      May 18, 2012 18:34 PM

Jerry. They`re not implementing 30K drones over the US and other countries as well as aclimating the population to very invasive, and unconstitutional, search procedures because the younger generation will just go along. Those not all druged up on pharmaceuticals will eventually stand up and say “Enough”. That`s where a police state comes handy.

The quotes for Aldous Huxley go back to the 60`s. The plans have been brought forward without resistance…

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.” – David Rockefeller – June 1991 Baden, Germany

    May 17, 2012 17:53 AM

THE EURO IS TOAST……IT CAN NOT SURVIVE….WHO IS GOING TO LEND THEM THE MONEY,…..WE CAN NOT , CHINA,WILL NOT, RUSSIA WILL NOT, JAPAN CAN NOT…
WHO IS REMAINING…? PLUS THEY ALREADY ASKED IRISH, AND HE GAVE THEM THE

      May 17, 2012 17:21 PM

NO JERRY……I did not give them the HIGH SIGN……Thats a wicked rumour…I might have to sue you………….I just politely told them to F£$K OFF

        May 17, 2012 17:23 PM

        Irish….you crack me up.

          May 17, 2012 17:23 PM

          You too, Jerry.

        May 17, 2012 17:41 PM

          Yep, “A Boy Named Sue”!

          Big Al

        May 18, 2012 18:52 AM

Okay Mr Irish, that is another politically incorrect statement!

I try my hardest to be politically correct as you all know. You should take my example and not use words like f@#k; qu**r; and, others.

Common, this is a sophisticated forum we have here!

Big Sophisticated and Politically Correct Al

          May 18, 2012 18:45 AM

      Hey Peter.

It means nothing anymore. If it actually does, then they allowed it because they want Hillary in. Otherwise it won’t stand.

      Just my opinion,
      Lynn

        May 18, 2012 18:53 AM

        Hi Peter,

Mrs. Clinton’s future political actions will be truly interesting!

        Big Al

      May 17, 2012 17:02 PM

      Hey Peter

I agree with Lynn. It’s a moot point – almost no one really cares and besides, he is already in because THEY wanted him in. But I do think that if he wins again, things are going to get really ugly in this country.

      May 17, 2012 17:54 PM

I suspect that you too are an Esq. I,m not necessarily a “Birther” but these new revelations raise the serious question whether this narcissitic sonofabitch is entitled to hold the office which he pretends to do………………

Actually, I was stone sober but must apologize to fellow viewers for my politically incorrect remarks. It all started when that damn Irishman and Jerry lowered the level. Now the NSA aka “Non Such Agency” probably has me in their sights(Hi fellas if you are listening or viewing).

        May 18, 2012 18:35 PM

I AM A BIRTHER , TILL PROVEN OTHERWISE……, this is like who shot JFK….,everyone

How, about that Kennedy , that just hung herself……weird….

      May 18, 2012 18:18 AM

Anyone else think that the word “Kenya” looks slightly darker and slanted downward?

      May 18, 2012 18:24 AM

You guys are probably right. It’s very hard to conceive that this thing “just happens” to surface now. If it could be confirmed though – just think what William Clinton was impeached for!

    May 17, 2012 17:08 PM

    Al.

I wish you would recongize the entitlement culture the mainstream media likes to vilified to acclimate the people to genocidal fraudsterity is nothing compared to the trillions of derivatives created out of thin air by the international financiers we supposedly owe to Lord knows who.

      May 18, 2012 18:58 AM

      Morning MissiveDuTexas,

Please explain, “the entitlement culture the mainstream media like to villified”

      Thanks,

      Big Al

        May 18, 2012 18:27 PM

I hear you repeat what the right side of the mainstream spits out: cut all programs and accept austerity since we cannot afford them anymore. Yet the Fed will allow corporations to dip in the pot by the trillions. The whole system is a fraud and america certainly could take care of its people if it so wanted. The bread crums the people are getting is just enough so we can point the finger in that direction instead of the international financiers running the country. Divide and conquer, one more time.

      May 18, 2012 18:21 AM

The “entitlement culture” SHOULD be vilified.

        May 18, 2012 18:48 PM

ENTITLEMENT..AND VILIFIED….GO HAND IN HAND…LIKE IRISH AND AL

          May 18, 2012 18:21 PM

Hey, In the Box, at least I don’t fly one of those flags!

          Big Al

            May 18, 2012 18:40 PM

Hey Big or Little AL, how was DC….hope you had a great time….you and the G MAN..
we, did have to hold down Irish, the best we could, but, that guy is like a wild monkey
in a cage, with a bag of empty peanuts…..

        May 18, 2012 18:21 PM

        Amen, Matthew, Amen!

        Big Al

          May 18, 2012 18:00 PM

          Al.

Do I have to conclude you agree with Matthew`s take that we, as human beings, should point the finger at the most powerless in our society when TSHTF?

I do not like Matthew`s comments and waving of magic wands making the poor and indigent responsible for the problems we`re facing. All this is a gift of those enjoying cocktails at Mets on Friday night, not the mother on welfare.

          Deuteronomy 24
17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:
18 But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the Lord thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

We were all slaves to sin, that is why our Lord and Savior took our punishment on himself. Our faith should certainly be mature enough not to be deceived by simple strategies of “divide and conquer”.

        May 18, 2012 18:21 PM

Matthew – Hope you`ll use capital letters for your comments on banks and corporations getting multiple times what the poor and needy ever got.

YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND BY NOW THAT MY VIEW IS THAT THE BANKER’S ENTITLEMENT CULTURE SHOULD BE VILIFIED THE MOST!
I DO NOT LIKE YOUR SOCIALISM. THEFT IS THEFT, NO MATTER WHO TAKES THE LOOT! THEFT AND FORCE CANNOT BE THE FOUNDATION OF A CIVILIZED SOCIETY. I ALSO DO NOT LIKE THE LIBERTIES YOU TAKE WITH MY WORDS. THE “MAGIC WAND” IS ALL YOUR’S WITH YOUR IDIOTIC BELIEF IN GOVERNMENT ISSUED PAPER. TO YOU, WEALTH TRANSFER IS OKAY AS LONG AS THE GOVERNMENT ISN’T CHARGED INTEREST FOR DOING IT. YOUR’S IS STILL A SYSTEM THAT PUNISHES INNOVATION AND PRODUCTION (SUCCESS) WHILE REWARDING IDLENESS AND CONSUMPTION (FAILURE). IF THE GOAL IS TO END UP WITH AS MANY USELESS MORONS AS POSSIBLE, YOUR SYSTEM OF SUBSIDIES FOR EVERYONE IS THE BEST BY FAR SINCE NOTHING UNDERMINES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CRITICAL THINKING LIKE SOMEONE ELSE FOOTING THE BILL. IT’S CALLED THE NANNY STATE FOR A REASON. THOSE DEPENDENT ON THE STATE REMAIN CHILDREN FOREVER -BUT WITHOUT THE DIGNITY.

            May 19, 2012 19:28 AM

“YOUR IDIOTIC BELIEF”… Allow your mind to be open long enough to analyze the facts and expand your body of knowledge. The social programs were not implemented by the average citizen, but by the same puppet masters running the show so that social peace would be maintained as they incrementaly impoverish the people through fraud and government control.

“I DO NOT LIKE YOUR SOCIALISM” – I do not either. I understand, however, that allowing the current bankers corporate fraud system to go on until the US dollar and all other currencies are destroyed should be a priority. Attacking people on welfare that CANNOT find a job should be last on the totem poll.

TO YOU, WEALTH TRANSFER IS OKAY AS LONG AS THE GOVERNMENT ISN’T CHARGED INTEREST FOR DOING IT. – Nha, but stopping a minority from skimming the wealth of the whole society is certainly preferable than the current, worldwide, status quo.

“YOUR SYSTEM OF SUBSIDIES FOR EVERYONE IS THE BEST BY FAR” – Again, open your mind to the facts: Corporations get way more than actual human beings ever did or ever will.

“THOSE DEPENDENT ON THE STATE REMAIN CHILDREN FOREVER -BUT WITHOUT THE DIGNITY.” – Dignity can always be regained, unless your dead. Go look at Greece, they can hardly get aspirins or feed their children, is this what you want for your fellow Americans?

Ho yes, let`s not forget the military industrial complexe Eisenhower warned about:

Let’s start a movement whereby we push for paper ballots only…in that manner Ron Paul could be elected 3rd party…providing ballots are counted county by county on camera! We don’t have electronic voting machines in Canada and for good reason, with that I don’t believe we have voter fraud, but that’s my take.

Further let’s not forget Ron Paul’s overall popularity, perhaps he could make a good vp!

Just talked about that yesterday here in D.C. and was told there was not a chance that would happen.

Good to hear from you Mr. Conservative!

        Big Al,
Please clarify your statement of “was told there was not a chance that would happen” if you are permitted to do so after your visit with RP. The VP part I didn’t think would be considered by Dr. Paul, but how about the 3rd Party? I know he has said in the past that a 3rd Party ticket for him was improbable. (sitting here with my fingers crossed)
        Thanks,

    More birthing stuff.

What I like about this is not so much that it might hurt Obama, but that an elaborately fostered lie might be being exposed.

There we go, as if the international financiers didn`t run the show by stealth anyway.

Sociopaths like to rub it in the face of people, the stealth approach just ain`t that satisfying:

Europe could strengthen its monetary union by giving European politicians the power to declare a sovereign state bankrupt and take over its fiscal policy, the former head of the European Central Bank said on Thursday in unveiling a bold proposal to salvage the euro.

Al, here is a lady who knows why our educational system has failed. It was deliberate. She worked for the Dept. of Education and her father was a Bonesman to boot, so she has quite a bit to say.

I’m confused how one could believe in vote fraud and not believe conspiracies exist.
If vote fraud is successful then they must be competent at it.

The 2nd Psalm tells us about conspiracy and the basis of a conspiracy theory of history.

Great interview as always….thank you from a weekend follower.

@Wesley – Go look at the works of George Louis Beer, who studied american education in the 1800`s and reported his findings to the Royal Institute of International Affairs. It was quickly concluded that their was no way for the Empire to regain control of America without getting their hands on education, hence the introduction of public education.

And today, most americans have no idea America had no standing army prior to WWI, and no standing army prior to WW2. Their perspective is America has always been a heavily militarized nation, forgeting that this fact would point to any prior agressive empire system.
