I always thought suspecious the victory of Rand in Kentucky for two reasons:

1 – the oligarchy controls the political process and knows all the dirty tricks, so anyone in congress is simply allowed to be
2 – Rand early on really put his unwielding support of Israel`s policies, and we know this will always lead to some time of military action.

I hope the RP supporters and members of “Campaign for Liberty” will not fall into whining after this affront to constitutionalists. The whole founding fathers system is design for the grass root to take control of it if they so choose. People just have to get involved at every level, and so they should.

Allegiance to no king but Christ Jesus, I say!!

      Yep, MissiveDuTexas,

      I say that too!

        Akexander my friend::

Ron is Toast. Even should he get the nonination, he’s not electable. period. His son, Rand is a realist. To the extent that anyone on this site is inclined to take a powder and not vote or write in, including Al, Romney is are only hope unless of course, we all want to see Obama re-elected………………period!

          Jun 09, 2012 09:57 PM

My Miststake…should obviously be our rather than are

          Morning Dai Uy,

You bring up an interesting point.

I am just not sure what the material differences are between the two men.

I think that Vortex brings up a very good point. We need to care and try like hell to make a difference!

I would bet that deep down inside you too feel that way.

Yes, Rand is trying to support the RP and its nominee. I wonder because of the coming economic collapse that Romney, if elected will be viewed as another H. Hoover? I know the press will blame him for the economy and they never blame Obama. Or can Romney pull us out the worst economy since 1933 ? The demos will be fighting him all the way. Especially if he cuts any pork or if he eliminates a cabinet position or two.

        Jun 10, 2012 10:04 PM

        James,

I’ve thought a lot about that. It doesn’t matter how many financial websites, books, Discovery Channel special will be made on it. The simple fact is, whoever is in the White House when the collapse happens will forever be boilerplated as the singular person responsible. It’s just the way our society thinks.

    Jun 09, 2012 09:44 AM

I know this is very deflating to the young but I think its a quid pro quo as Romney needs Paul and the Tea Partiers to win.

So I look for Rand as VP where he can mobilize the folks on a local basis county by county.

      Jun 09, 2012 09:52 AM

      Morning Wesley,

I thought for sure until I was in Washington D.C. a couple of weeks ago that the nod would go to his Dad.

Regarding your assessment of Rand’s future, I think that you could be correct.

Have a great weekend and please keep the comments coming.

I never trusted Rand, but gave him the benefit of the doubt because of his name, that was a mistake. he is a traitor and sellout to the liberty movement. he can never carry the torch. If he is put up by campaign for liberty as the new leader, Im out. We still have to hear from Ron about all this, but Adam Kokesh pointed out that he lacks oversight skills (newsletters) and his inner circle may have been infiltrated. he may have been influenced and double crossed. It may be posssible that he was ignorant to plots against him. So to judge Ron w/o his hearing from him is unfair.

      Jun 09, 2012 09:07 PM

That Eric, is a statement that I completely agree with!

      Big Al

      Jun 10, 2012 10:53 AM

Eric – “…Im out…” – Exactly the kind of reaction wished by the oligarchy that controls the demorepublicrates. A government by and for the people needs “the people” involved, anything else is wishful thinking.

        Jun 11, 2012 11:59 AM

I will say it again, MissiveDuTexas, I agree with you!

From here, the delegates going to the RNC need to Raise hell against the establishment with or without Ron. They can NOT fold to Romney as the anti Obama. Napalitano 2012!!!!

    Jun 09, 2012 09:56 PM

Really disappointed and disgusted by Rand Paul’s action.

Speaks badly for him and he betrayed his father

      Jun 09, 2012 09:03 PM

The only comment I can make is, God gave us free will. Am I also disappointed? You bet!

Rand smartly picked is poison well in advance of what we must do in November.
I surmise there was a thought process involved….similar to which we all must.
Inauguration day 2013 will happen even though it might register on the Mayan calendar.
Who do you want standing there with their arm in the air?
PICK YOUR POISON 2012….for me I like Rand will select the poison that taste better.

I’ve almost posted twice now, hesitating about what I want to say. I think Dennis’ comment comes close, but…

Rand Paul had, and still has, a chance to do something far greater than any individual Senator or Congressmen has been able to do for a very long time. Jeff Deist is beyond diplomatic. Rand is running away. If only I could hold such potential influence as he might. Instead, and yes Dennis, he simply appears to be jockeying for a chair after the music stops in 2013. Maybe there’s a witty strategy I’m not seeing (i.e get elected, then try to effect change). But for what…to be a Romney yes-man? He has subordinated his influence, in a possibly career-ending way. Strong words, but they are not well-considered.

It reminds of of Randy Quaid as the lawyer in Caddyshack II (sorry if the reference is not recognizable to some). He says, “I may not know much about golf, but I know the difference between a winning putt and a loosing putt”. Then he proceeds to give the stalwart Robert Stack a wedgie. (“Oh yeah, everybody’s doing it…”)

Rand Paul knows the difference too, but to what avail?

Normally, I’d agree that writing-in a name on a ballot can split votes and so be a wasteful strategy, but I agree with Al, because at times it makes sense. Obama could only do his damage when he had both Houses with a Democrat majority, so as long the Repubs get one or both houses, I say take a chance on the president, and write-in who you really want. It will send a message like no other. They did something a little similar with this in Canada in the mid-1990’s, with many fed-up Canadians voting for the then-regional Reform Party. At the time, the Canadian Conservative party was decimated, and many people felt that not casting votes for the Conservatives just gave away the election to the Liberals (yes, in Canada, we call ’em what they are). That regional party and it’s views grew rapidly, and it is essentially the party that the current PM, Stephen Harper, got elected on, even though some will debate point. It’s the only way to send a message to the established and diseased political machines that their way won’t be tolerated any longer, and the public can actually do something about it.

We can’t elect any party still planning on $1 trillion+ deficits each year.

Bobby…..thanks for the post……like Celente says….DONT LET THE FREAKS CONTROL YOU….

    Jun 09, 2012 09:47 PM

Rand Paul may indeed get a spot in a Romney administration- but mainly to stop him from being a pest in the Senate! You think another Bush neocon administration wants a Republican Senator causing the President trouble? I hate the way the Paul campaign has operated since New Hampshire. Dr. Paul never made it on shows (like the KER) to touch base with his supporters, no teleconferences, hell- at most he campaigned 4 days a week! Where did that $40 million go? Ever since Super Tuesday, the campaign has been dead in the water.

Google: “Linguistic analysis of Rand Paul’s endorsement of Romney contradicts his words: Rand Paul is disgusted with him!”

Deals have likely been struck, but we all know that Romney and the GOP machine’s words cant be trusted. Some good news: On Thursday Ron Paul told supporters that he was promised the Congress would vote on a real Audit of the Fed in July! check it out at 5:13 seconds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc-s3vbLHN4

    My dear friend’s,

I listened to Al’s latest interview intently and I must say that I still am unable to rationalize why this same subject matter is the at the heart of the broken dialog here on a weekly basis.

I have been very sanguine and disappointed for many years about the prospects of the American public having enough gumption, strength, commonsense and smarts to overcome the devastating hallucinogenic effects of decades of targeted propaganda.

People do not know why they believe, they just do. The mind is a super computer that is hard to quantify in scope but easy to manipulate and reconfigure.

The average person has the capabilities to understand massive amounts of information but yet finds its far to difficult to conduct critical analysis on a fraudulent political system that is broken to the core. So they rationalize away faulty logic and poor decisions based upon arrogance, laziness and a need to be right and conform to a dysfunctional peer group than to be confronted with an answer that contradicts a life long fallacy of comfort and nationalistic tendencies.

The transitory and real IQ level of the average individual in America on a relative basis has not grown for decades, but recessed and degraded in ability in almost every area. The political power manipulators relies heavily on this hidden construct of degraded capabilities to maintain an illusion of importance, stabilizability and superiority on a national level even though it is counterintuitive to everything we see around us.

People are for the most part complete walking zombies incapable of critical thinking on even the most mundane level of effort.

The Hegelian Dialectical cornerstone of targeted thought control is very well represented with in the phoney political empowerment architecture that is our two party system and has never been more powerful and effective than it is today. The last 80 to 100 years has seen a steady and streamlined enhancement of indoctrination and subtle cognitive limitations toward real human discernment and logic induced thought.

This brings me to my primary point:

Rand Paul, (not to be confused with his father Ron Paul), is nothing more than a Manchurian Candidate of modern America Just as Obama is. Rand once thought to represent a meaningful change and a continuation of a new and powerful paradigm dreamed of by his father Ron has been exposed as the equivalent of the “Wizard of Oz”. The man behind the curtain.

He’s just the latest and greatest throw away false savior of a societal order that is ill equipped in mass to make the important, logical, and meaningful admissions about America’s true paradigm of political fraud, lie’s and abused power through force to achieve any means necessary to keep a bankrupt and immoral political super structure in place.

This country is adrift in the sea of nothingness and not one man or woman in a million will stop the engine and say ENOUGH.

My goodness…..this phoney power hungry marry go-round of useless, unethical, dishonest charlatan’s such as Mitt Romney and Rand Paul as your saviors. Seriously, are people stuck on stupid.

I’m going to ask again……………………..where the hell are the adults in this discussion of such important matter’s that could effect the very longevity of mankind itself.

    Vortex

      Jun 10, 2012 10:17 AM

      Vortex
The paper bugs have marginalizes the adults. Madison avenue has demonized critical thinkers as “gold bugs”, ” ignorant of ‘high finance'”, “crazies”, “desirous of turning back the hands of time”, “nostalgic”, “out of touch”, “right wing nut job”, “extreme”.
It goes back to the teaching of Marx. Realizing his system could not win in a logical debate he advocated adherents to promise Utopia while ignoring the inevitable critic. When it was apparent a particular critic could no longer be ignored it was encouraged to attack the messenger’s person while continuing to ignore the message itself. The ad hominem has destroyed many in the wake of collectivism.
Now we have nearly reached the point where the world economy will
      1) take on immense unprecedented pain;
      2) destroy the paper with which they exchange promises ultimately ruining the measure of the currencies involved
      3) resort to war and plunder
      4) All of the above

And the paper bug is said to be sane and the gold bug is the crazy. Orwell had a name for this very twist of definition.

        Jun 11, 2012 11:55 AM

        Morning Dennis M,

You bring up a great point! Thanks,

        Big Al

      Jun 11, 2012 11:32 AM

      Morning V,

“Where the hell are the adults in this discussion of such important matters that could effect the very longevity of mankind itself”?

I believe that there are more here, members of this “family”, than a lot of folks realize!

And, you my friend, are definitely one of them!

      Big Al

    Jun 10, 2012 10:53 AM

The Paul family has jumped the shark, looking at a lot of the on line comment from various website I would estimate that they loose 80% plus support.

      Jun 11, 2012 11:58 AM

The whole family or just Rand?

    Jun 10, 2012 10:00 AM

Most living in denial. Drunk from a very early age on funny money, yet not having hit the bottom of the barrel yet. Although some have seen it up close.

I seem to see the “whining” attitude pop up because of the Paul`s actions. Sorry, that will accomplish nothing. The people have to regain control of the political system, period. Otherwise, the current sociopathes warming those seats will keep their agenda going.

      Jun 11, 2012 11:57 AM

That MissiveDuTexas is a very good point!

      Big Al

    Jun 10, 2012 10:24 AM

Did you ever believe that Ron Paul ever had a realistic chance to win the nomination or the presidentcy? Let’s all write in our friends and neighbors and elect Barack Obama President for four more years. Let Obama, pack the Supreme Court with his liberal ideology and continue to bankrupt the country. Sorry Al, it may be a case of lessor evils but living in a dream world is not the answer.

      Jun 10, 2012 10:56 PM

Richard, your statement is spot on. It’s too late to solve anything with one election but this next election will depend on the U.S. surviving period and we certainly won’t survive with obama back in office. Wake up people.

      Jun 11, 2012 11:57 AM

I would like to discuss these thoughts with you, Doc.

      Big Al

    Jun 10, 2012 10:00 AM

Richard – Voting for madison avenue`s images will not solve anything either.

Let’s see…we are being offered up in Nov a choice between the inventor of Obammie care and the implementor of Obammie care…

Both support TARP and all the other bailouts…both support giving away tens of billions of dollars a year (and more indirectly) in “foreign aid” to foreign governments…both WILL give you trillion dollar plus deficits for as far as the eye can see…

I GUARANTEE you that which ever one of these criminals wins gummit spending WILL go up, gummit debt WILL go up and gummit control over YOUR life will increase!

So the choice…Obammie or the Romulan in November?

That my friends is no choice at all.

      Jun 10, 2012 10:45 PM

      Ken,
I know, I know…I have said this before…but, here is goes…..Romulan…I love it! That is so apprapro(sp)…he is not only a walking robot..but a walking ALIEN robot…I am going to definitely vote…and I am writing in Ron Paul on the ballot….end of story!
      All the best,
      Marc

        Jun 10, 2012 10:11 PM

I tell you Marc, if I had the time I’d learn to use a good image editor and create an image of Obammie as the Borg and Romney as a Romulan and make a poster out of this “choice” for November!

If nothing else it would give me a good laugh and that’s what I need.

The political and economic situation is so bad I laugh so I will not cry.

The two political parties are corrupt and morally bankrupt.

They are the reason why we have this mess today.

It goes beyond common sense to expect either of these two corrupt, immoral political parties to solve any of the problems we currently have.

Expecting that is like expecting an arsonist to do a great job running a fire department.

The fact is that there is no way an honest, decent and moral person could ever win the nomination of either of these parties.

      Jun 11, 2012 11:55 AM

In response to your above comments.

I really have a problem trying to pin down what Romney stands for. I also dislike how he pounces on opponents taking them out of context. We are not stuppid and we can and do read! This is where Ron Paul stands strong. He believes in something, not just what conveniently will get him ellected.

I do not think Romney is a fiscal or social conservative, my question is what is he? What will he do as president that will be much different than what we are seeing today? I just do not know. Unfortunately my etchasketch does not show me what the future Romney will look like.
    Steve

      Jun 11, 2012 11:05 PM

Amen, to both paragraphs Steve. It’s the same story…every time an incumbent is on the ropes, the contender comes along without any specifics. I believe the strategy is to let the incumbent put their foot in their mouth while remaining non-committal.
