Big Al and all -Good morning!
As long as these and other “signposts” stay in tact we will be MORE than fine:
1.Central bank’s massive buying of gold – now INTENSIFYING in the emerging markets!
    2.NEGATIVE real interest rates
3.Fed (Global) continuation of “easy” monetary policy -massive currency inflows
4.Lack of a sound fundamental “game plan” for the massive debt -debit/credit imbalances
5.Constant news of BRICS policies to decouple from US $ dominance as the RESERVE currency
6.Constant news of elevating gold as a predominant settlement of fiscal trade/ (anchor).
7.Inability of production (mining) to keep up with the physical demand
8.Rising costs (inflationary pressures) to keep pressure on the miners margins -escalating PM price to sell to their customers
    9. GROWING competitive alternatives to the manipulative and illusory COMEX.
10.Politicians and “power players” “desperate gauge” to keep the status quo in-tact.
(OR what is called the “PANIC” factor affecting judgement and actions)
These (and others) make up our current macro-environment on a global scale.
We ARE NOT..I repeat NOT in the 1970’s anymore…this isn’t just about inflation scares driving the metals…this is about a massive, complex global world wanting change and looking for a world FREE of US global dominance and currency influence in trading!
    As responsible Americans:
I ask, What do we have left to protect the loved ones, family and others?
Gold, silver, hard assets and preparation for a change in the way business is conducted!
Why isn’t Ron Paul going to be elected by a massive landslide?! I don’t know. But I am WRITING HIM in on my ballot in November at the expense of saying ” I am throwing my vote away.”
Hogwash – I vote my conscious as a responsibility to principle and truth!
    All the best,
    Marc

      Jun 21, 2012 21:17 AM

      nice piece MARC.

        Jun 21, 2012 21:19 AM

But did i really have to read it twice…..haha

          Jun 21, 2012 21:21 AM

looks like we have a Gremlin in the works.

            Jun 21, 2012 21:23 PM

We all know what NOT to do to gremlins! We wouldn’t want Big Al’s site to become invested with those little critters! They would eat all us gold bugs! YIKES!

        Jun 21, 2012 21:31 AM

Irish…glad to see you are back,,,,we had some guys that were trying to muscle in
on your territory, in the area of comic relief….
Glad to see everything is in place and ok,,,,
How, was the jubilee and the queen…..we thought she might have thrown you in the dungon, or you might have been busy counting the gold bullion that she got from the Greeks, for the new loan they wanted….
Marc…was throwing a hissy fit, not hearing from you.
Well, anyways welcome back to the looney bin OOTB…
        OOTB..

          Jun 21, 2012 21:27 PM

          Jerry,
How is this for a hissy fit? -whaa, whaa! lol!!
          All the best, Irish…oh, yeah..ok..you too..Jerry OOTB!

      Jun 21, 2012 21:04 AM

      Marc,
      Nice post.
You can be assured that I will be writing in Ron Paul, AGAIN.

        Jun 21, 2012 21:20 PM

        Okay Bobby,

Looks like three of us will be doing that!

        Big Al

      Jun 21, 2012 21:08 AM

      Marc,
I agree with the above and I too would like to see Ron Paul elected (thanks to a prod from OTB: he got me when I had my tolerance cap off) but if you write in RP then bo gets elected and Ron Paul loses any chance of being in a place where could do some good. Think Fed chief !!!!! if Romney is elected. Make sense???

        Jun 21, 2012 21:17 AM

Yes, it sure does….Ron Paul…fed chief….hummmmm. Interesting. Very interesting..Jerry..thanks for the input!

        Jun 21, 2012 21:47 AM

JM…..THANKS FOR THE PUG……O^OTB….always like to help

…and have you had time to get the pontoon boat ready,
the” Sanford Sheriff” might need a place to camp out
        for awhile…. Best…..go gators…..OOTB

          Jun 21, 2012 21:42 PM

Ha!! They would never find him where this boat sitting (sinking)(half floating). Did you see the 6’6 280 lb quarterback that just signed with the gators? Looks like a Tebow.
Could be a good season if they can keep the RB’s out of jail.
          Go Gators……….

            Jun 21, 2012 21:55 PM

            JM…..I am back up north….getting business done….
I have not heard that yet, that is a good size kid…, (no, man)…6’6 should give him
            good sight of the field….
            Go Gators…
.Irish wants to know what a gator is…..OOTB

            Big Al

        Jun 21, 2012 21:24 PM

        Maybe Jerry M, just maybe.

        I would however doubt it.

      Jun 21, 2012 21:25 PM

Good points Marc, and we all know its going to get worse soon.
      stay frosty my friend!

      Jun 21, 2012 21:18 PM

      Okay Marc,

I agree with you about everything except the Aztecs.

I too will more likely than not vote my conscience.

Great news about the banks huh?

Great news about the sophisticated secret service detail and the fight last Thanksgiving. What a sophisticated bunch we have!

      Generally good news all over!

        Jun 21, 2012 21:56 PM

Hah! Didn’t hear about that. The debauchery of our gummit masters never ceases to amaze me.

What a criminal gang they all are!

          Jun 21, 2012 21:43 PM

The thing that makes me really sorry about that incident is that another major event involving the organization happened after that. What does that say about our country, Ken?

            Jun 21, 2012 21:36 PM

I used to be angry but now I’m just amused, Big Al. OK, I admit it I get angry too but lately much more amused.

Every day our rulers, their henchmen and minions serve up a buffet of buffoonery!

            Jun 22, 2012 22:16 PM

That is a great line, Ken!

“the best house in the worst neighborhood” that is too funny

      Hi Ann,

Kind of true don’t you think?

    Jun 21, 2012 21:27 AM

I guess Puru will not be back…. http://www.mineweb.co.za/mailstreams/clickthrough?u=bradley.parkes&d=gmail.com&miid=1823&mid=1968&l=18&a= As he is now bullish on US stocks and has NO exposure to gold and silver.

I remember when Paul van Eeden told Al back in 2007 that base metal stocks were a terrible idea. Al thought Paul was wrong and that unconventional stocks was the way to go.

Broken record here. Gold is tanking….see you at $1100.

      Jun 21, 2012 21:25 AM

      dr,
Thanks for the link. I find it difficult to disagree with anything Puru is stating regarding gold and gold stocks, he is simply stating what has been happening. One thing that I note for sure is: There are a lot of very smart people with different opinions today. This is a time for caution.

        Jun 21, 2012 21:30 AM

I think Puru is just getting on the “strong dollar” momentum trade…that’s all. Trading this stuff is not my cup of tea…quite frankly, I am not smart enough or quick enough. This time period is very interesting. BTW, KWN blog interview with DAN NORCINI IS VERY, VERY INTERESTING A MUST – QUICK READ! YES, WE HAVE DEGRADED TO PAVOLIAN DOGS THAT OUR GOING TO FALL OFF THE CLIFF – A CLASSIC LINE BY HIM, IMHO!

        Jun 21, 2012 21:59 PM

Bobby….did you get my email…..the last one was blank….the one at 7:55

          Jun 21, 2012 21:05 PM

          jerry.
look for one from my main website.

        Jun 21, 2012 21:29 PM

        Welcome to my world Bobby!

Caution yes, but also prudent investing!

        Big Al

      Jun 21, 2012 21:56 AM

$1100? I hope so. What a buy op. I don’t think it will go quite that low, unfortunately. But if there were ever doubt that the USD is still “king” to many seeking safety, today proves it. I don’t think there’s any such thing as coupling between the USD and gold, stocks, oil, etc. It is it’s own beast. Still, as noted in the editorial yesterday, the USD index has dropped from 120 to 80 in the last 12 years, and I don’t think it’s done yet.

      Jun 21, 2012 21:30 PM

Hhmmm…$1100? I’ll see your $1100 and raise you $1435. Puru is no dummy but he has also been late to the game at times. Paul Van Eeden also thought gold was too pricey when it hit $950 an ounce. He said it was not worth holding. Hmm.

    Jun 21, 2012 21:42 AM

    Dear Dr. Hotdog –
If you want to sell your physical gold, I know A LOT of buyers – including me.
    What say you?
    Marc

      DITTO……ME TO^O…

    Jun 21, 2012 21:06 AM

Hi All, remember the movie “Groundhog Day” every morning Bill Murray wakes up to find it’s still groundhog day, this sameness is something that is lacking in our lives and because of the sameness the main character is able to reflect on his own life and in doing so he starts to concentrate on making his own person better by helping others. Wow I wish society could be like that forever.

      Jun 21, 2012 21:50 AM

One of my favorite movies. Light, but poignant. Angie McDowell wasn’t too hard to look at either.

      Jun 21, 2012 21:22 PM

      Shawn,

Let me know what you think about segments 7 and 8 in the upcoming Weekend Show.

Hi Al, I will listen in, I wonder if Peter G is involved.

          Jun 21, 2012 21:36 PM

Of course he is, Shawn. In segment 7 and then segment 8 is with Chris Temple.

    1) Here is the 2007 crash all over again.

    2) The Zimmerman-Martin case proves that justice is not blind (and from his video of today, if Zimmerman had a single action pistol rather than a double action pistol he would be dead and no one would have ever heard of this case).

      Jun 21, 2012 21:24 PM

      Hey Tex,

      Don’t forget…Facebook is back to $32, only $8 below it’s IPO! Now that’s news.

        Jun 21, 2012 21:35 PM

Man, I wish I bought some of the IPO!

          Jun 21, 2012 21:33 PM

          Funny Big Al,
I like the gator comment above…but at a 50 IQ I don’t think could absorb the playbook? No?HA!!

            Jun 21, 2012 21:42 PM

If they ran plays 500 times each, they would remember.

Actually I have nothing but respect for the Gators!
