Here is the official statement from Congressman Ron Paul:
“
“I strongly disagree with today’s decision by the Supreme Court, but I am not surprised. The Court has a dismal record when it come to protecting liberty against unconstitutional excesses by Congress.”
“Today we should remember that virtually everything government does is a ‘mandate.’ The issue is not whether Congress can compel commerce by forcing you to buy insurance, or simply compel you to pay a tax if you don’t. The issue is that this compulsion implies the use of government force against those who refuse. The fundamental hallmark of a free society should be the rejection of force. In a free society, therefore, individuals could opt out of “Obamacare” without paying a government tribute.”
“Those of us in Congress who believe in individual liberty must work tirelessly to repeal this national health care law and reduce federal involvement in healthcare generally. Obamacare can only increase third party interference in the doctor-patient relationship, increase costs, and reduce the quality of care. Only free market medicine can restore the critical independence of doctors, reduce costs through real competition and price sensitivity, and eliminate enormous paperwork burdens. Americans will opt out of Obamacare with or without Congress, but we can seize the opportunity today by crafting the legal framework to allow them to do so.”

Did anyone really believe that this bill would be kicked out by a bunch of corrupt, & paid for judges………they know the constitution…they just choose to ignore it, these people should be taking outside & dealt with, they dont give a toss about the American people, they are only concerned about pleasing their “MASTERS”…….Revolution for freedom springs to mind……..end of rant.
HI Mr. Irish,
I simply don’t understand where this is all going.

On March 25, 2012 at 7:55 pm,
Dennis M. O’Neil says: Below is a letter I sent to my Congressperson exactly two years ago.
It is on point with Al’s multi-tasking connecting flight qestion.
I offer it for your consideration as an open letter.
I hope it makes a point or two.
Dear Mary Jo Kilroy,
Thank you very little for ruining our country.
I had always found it dishonest that FDR sold Social Security as Insurance and described the payments to support the now insolvent program as premiums.
In court his lawyers argued that it was not actually insurance and the payments
were a tax. Why did they do that?
Mary Jo you and your colleagues have constitutional authority to levy certain taxes on us. What you and your colleagues do not have is the constitutional authority to compel us to pay premiums or purchase any other product. If you do then I may unfortunately be compelled to buy a General Motors vehicle in the near future.
That is of course if you still let us own our own cars.
If the fiasco you call “healthcare reform” stands the result is our country will have become what thousands of the honored in Arlington fought against.
Go past the Lincoln Memorial;
walk up the Honored Hill;
watch the ceremony;
see the endless ordered ranks;
and if you do not cry;
you will know why;
why we are
no longer free.
Cordially,
Dennis M. O’Neil
DENNIS……..nice letter……but she probably used it to wipe her a$$$ , while mumbling f$$$ you.
Emily Dickinson never received a dime for her poems….but at least no one did that to her writings!
And there Dennis M, is the difference between the two people!
Big Al
Well Dennis, we and future generations certainly will know that Kilroy was here and of course those of her ilk.
I commend you on your letter. If everyone did this it would be a different country. Of course if everyone believed what you do old Mary Jo would never have been elected.
I complained numerous times to my congress critter about the TSA nonsense. I even got into a heated “conversation” with the idiots aid. Now if everyone did that the TSA would be gone tomorrow.
But unfortunately Amerika is now a nation of sheep ruled by perverted criminals so the TSA is here to stay, just like Obammie Care.
Unfortunate, Dennis M, Mr. Irish could very well be correct!

This is a payoff to big insurance, essentially another sweetheart deal, like using the global warming scam as an excuse for funneling billions into Solyndra. There are innumerable other examples. It’s fascism at the top, with the rest of us socialized: the New Global Plantation. Very evil.
Hi Lore,
Interesting point you make!
Big Al
Health Insurance is a now the funding mechanism to liberlizing and sustaining the health care left …just and stusdent loan are the funding mechanism to the increasingly far left higher education.
I AM JOHN GAULT
We live in a NEO-FEUDAL CASINO GULAG PLANTATION ECONOMY.
Leave it to our government masters…One of the unintended consequences of Obammie Care.
The Supreme Court ruling is an absolute disgrace. The Progressivism thinking judges have destroyed the constitution. Now the precedent has been set, there is no limit on what the government can tax and now the new 16,000 IRS agents can begin their tedious task of making sure all Americans have health care.
Yes, just wait til the 16,000 IRS agents start nosing around. Boy, won’t that just make healthcare great!
And that’s just the beginning. There will be tens of thousands of more bureaucrats and enforcers at the federal and state levels.
We are all Neo-Feudal Casino Plantation Gulagers now!
Hi again Ken,
Well, the remodeling that is going on seems to be dependent on higher taxes.
Interesting situation, isn’t it!
Big Al
A very depressing day, indeed.
I think this ruling marks the end of the line for this county.
I don’t mean the country collapses tomorrow, but it is clear today that our government is thoroughly corrupt and the Constitution is now meaningless.
It is clear to me that there is no way anyone can work within the system to prevent the collapse that is on the horizon.
The corrupt two party system and the other instiutions that feed off it must go but that will only happen after the system implodes.
Hi Ken,
I too believe that we are in a system that will become more and more socialistic every single day. I think that this progression will continue for quite some time now.
We discuss that concept at length on the Weekend Show.
It is what it is and people have to do what is right for them.
We will have suggestions in the days and weeks and months ahead.
Big Al
Al,
I am disappointed but not surprised. Maybe justice Roberts did us a a favor. Its now up to the voter to clean house this November if they do not want Obama care.
As most of us know it is not whether an item is in the federal budget but will it be funded or the money appropriated for the budget item. In 2011while no one was watching the Republican House appropriated (funded) Obama Care for 2011.
In 2012 they have not funded Obama Care as of yet. They do not have to fund it. Call your congressman and tell him or her not to fund Obama Care. If he or she does it means they bought into the program and come this November they must be removed from office regardless of the R or D after their name. It is time for us to take our country back to its Constitutional principles as understood by the framers. Now lets all get our wallets out and get to work and through the bums out! If we do not do it who will. Let the revolution begin.
Oh I forgot this includes the lair and thief, Obama.
Morning Martin,
Yes, my friend, the upcoming election will truly be interesting.
My prediction? I think the president will be re-elected because the majority of folks in this country seem to be dependent on the govt.
I believe that we are seeing a true shift in the direction of the U.S.

Hi David Bakken
Thanks for the great video. We are definitely on the same path.
Hi Big Al,
When I buy precious metals, I pay no taxes. Today is a good day to add.
I am numb right now.
