Does taking physical delivery “within the LBMA-Comex system” mean that your order of, say, 1 million oz shows up in one of the participating members “allocated accounts” and is then deemed “Delivered”? Ain’t life Grand!

I;ve been away in Utah and again a quick jaunt over to California…but here’s a nice “how to value gold 101” article from Seeking Alpha, people I often disagree with but who have some good analysis:

HEY JOHN….I LIKE THE $385,118 PER OZ….., MILLIONS TO BILLIONS….. at 16 to l ratio for silver…..that makes silver over $24,000 per oz…..that should make IRISH VERY HAPPY…..

        Aug 27, 2012 27:20 PM

NOW NOW ..JERRY….Don’t get carried away.

          Aug 27, 2012 27:55 PM

IRISH….ISN’T IT PAST YOUR BED TIME…….

        Aug 27, 2012 27:25 PM

With hyperinflation a real possibility a few more trillion dollars into the future, and who knows what price is really possible.

          Good point, John W!

Yes as we reach the 2nd half of the season, I am cronecn about the Spirit Pack. Monies were turned in back in August and we are now into Oct with NO pack, as my child is not the only one that HAS NOT received theirs. I have been advised that the turn around on the order was 3 days. I don’t understand how the Varsity has gotten theirs and JV hasn’t. Could you please advise on this matter or point me to whom that could? I would like as well a financial report.Very Concerned Parent

I’ll say again, the endgame is virtual currency, so we cannot buy or sell without their access point stamped on our forehead or wrist. Forehead for the slave, wrist for the overseers.

You guys are too stuck in materialism, virtual is the new reality 🙂

Listen………i keep saying………..”BUY SILVER”…………ITS THE PEOPLES MONEY, ALWAYS HAS BEEN………ALWAYS WILL BE.

      Aug 27, 2012 27:07 PM

Does that include Coors Lite “silver bullet” beer too, Mr. Irish?

        Aug 27, 2012 27:17 PM

Oh no, Mark A., here goes the beer dialog again!! LOL!

          Aug 27, 2012 27:25 PM

MARC………….No more beer dialogue…….unless its Guinness, or REAL ALE, not plastic beers like COORS= bad for your health.

            Aug 27, 2012 27:00 PM

Does GUINNESS happen to sell beer in a silver can? If so, should we buy it then?

            Aug 28, 2012 28:51 AM

I didn’t drink anything but beer for the past week or so and you know what I agree completely with Mr. Irish. – only Guinness or some kind of fairly heavy beef that has some taste!

            Big Al

            Aug 28, 2012 28:47 AM

            God bless you, Mr. Irish!

          Aug 27, 2012 27:02 PM

by the way, Mr. Irish….Is this investment advice? I am connected with the Gman and I need some clarity on this subject matter 😉

            Aug 27, 2012 27:07 PM

Mark A….are you kidding me….getting anything out of Irish, in the way of clarity, this time of nite….is wishful thinking…..

            Aug 27, 2012 27:18 PM

So Jerry O^OTB does this mean to just buy ANYTHING silver? If so, my neighbor has a sterling silver bed pan they want to get rid of.

            Aug 28, 2012 28:56 AM

Interesting discussion on this issue last week.

A whole lot of folks are completely sold on “junk” silver.

            What do you think?

            Big Al

            Aug 27, 2012 27:27 PM

Mark A….just make sure before you purshase the bed pan….the owner has dispursed of the contents in a safe mannor….

            Aug 28, 2012 28:59 AM

Now common In the Box, no investment advice!

            Big Al

            Aug 28, 2012 28:52 AM

            Seriously Mark A?

I have been “in studio” with the G-man and I’ll tell you he is a pretty interesting guy!

        Aug 28, 2012 28:46 AM

        Not really beer Mark A!

        Big Al

      Aug 28, 2012 28:45 AM

      Morning Mr. Irish,

I am about ready to buy some more.

      Big Al

    Aug 27, 2012 27:20 PM

MARK…….JERRY…….Yes this is investment advice………BUY SILVER..BULLION…..Now i will say nighty, night…………S&%T….i hate this time difference.

      Aug 27, 2012 27:44 PM

So, then Mr. Irish….does this mean to buy silver bullion NOW, or later?

    Aug 27, 2012 27:15 PM

We’re going in all likelihood get a pullback in silver in the next couple of weeks and then it’ll be a good buy again.

      Aug 27, 2012 27:44 PM

for anyone not in silver by now…..income average would be a thought….in 5 years, you will not worry about a couple of bucks of savings….

        Aug 28, 2012 28:39 PM

        Good point, In the Box!

        Big Al

      Aug 27, 2012 27:50 PM

I’m with you, Doc. . . Silver had a very nasty reversal candle today, plus hitting substantial upside resistance at this price while being overbought. I sold a few of my more profitable silver miners today to raise my cash with the intention of buying back in after a correction. Big Ben is also likely to disappoint the markets this friday from Jackson Hole.

        Aug 28, 2012 28:42 PM

The results of Jackson Hole could be very interesting.

      Aug 28, 2012 28:37 PM

      Afternoon Doc,

Maybe, but I personally think it will continue in an upward direction.

      Best,

      Big Al
