I’m currently watching an online video that shows the reason why we cannot put our trust in the “Nice Government Men” and women fo rthat matter–> http://youtu.be/Jnxvn5CSuc8

      Great link. A MUST VIEW!

      And you are right, Lynn.

A number of relatives and friends of mine have died in the last few years of diseases including cancer.

After going through this over and over again I can tell you for a fact that we don’t have a healthcare system. It is not about health. If it were we would not have that video, we would have real cures and we would have much more emphasis on prevention of disease.

But every major institution in this country is crminally corrupt, including medicine so this is to be expected.

        Oct 08, 2012 08:02 PM

I know Ken. That is so many of us are waking up and getting preventive cures and taking preventive measures into our own hands.

Far too many doctors only systematically treat their patients and never get to the bottom of the ailment. This is the typical process that they abide by for the most part.

One has to research on their own what they can do to help themselves and their loved ones. Prayer unto the Great Healer and knowing that you too can be healed is by far the only way to go when we are now facing an even more corrupt medical field where the doctors will no longer decide but a panel of “Nice Government Men”.

      CFS,
Better to have faith and be “wrong” for you will lose nothing than
to not have faith and be “wrong” and to lose your soul.

      CFS,
What a disturbing thought..faith blinds just as prejudice blinds? Wow, that’s a new one.
If you really believe that, then there is no point in trying to have a rational discussion.
      Best to you,

I had a brain tumor and was operated on May 13, 2004. I lost the right occipital lobe of my brain, which includes all left-side vision processing, plus some smaller part of the brain. The medical system in the US, if you are wealthy enough to afford the best care, is by far the absolute best in the world, with two possible exceptions, for which I am not knowledgeable enough to judge. The US system is certainly superior currently to both the Canadian and UK systems. The specifically-tailored chemotherapy cost me at $30,000 a dose back in 2004, and is still not even available at any price in Canada or the UK. I am still alive and kicking over 8 years later. I fear Obamacare, because I expect it to kill experimental drug treatments and development of future drugs.

Right CFS.. For those that have the money. For the rest of us, we will choose another way.

I live by the Golden Rule, as I have previously stated, but I also lived by another saying; the origins of which are lost to me, but I learned it over 60 years ago:
: When I was young, the Walrus said, I thought of many things; I knew that youth would not last.
I thought of the future, whatever I did; that I never might grieve for the past.”
(Probably part of a Lewis Carroll poem?)
And as primarily a mathematician I tended to follow Descartes< Laplace and Einstein.
Cogito Ergo Sum. I have no need for that hypothesis, and I can't remember the exact quote from Albert. (something about God in his heavens being unnecessary to …)
        My senility is showing!

    Al,
Thank you for sharing this video. Having lost both brothers (one to cancer and the other to heart disease) within the past couple of years, I am reminded of the peace that came to my heart knowing they were both Christians and I would be seeing both of them again in eternity. 🙂

All gods have come from governments. The Vatican is its own country. Queen Elizabeth is head of the Anglican Church. Socrates was executed by the Athens parliament for doubting the gods. Gods were made up by dictators in their own image, it is why all recorded gods commit such acts of tyranny and disgusting violence to keep those in check.

Dribble as in dribbling, don`t know that much about basketball, but if your tall enough its easier to get the ball in the basket. Of Gods and Monsters it was a good movie, it was about a director of horror movies, and of friendship. Then there was the movie `Forbidden Planet`, a favorite of mine, Walter Pidgeon playing the doctor who coming to this strange planet, twenty years before came to unlock its secrets, but in doing so fell unknowingly in its web of horror, his mind his ultra-ego the `id` became so intolerant that it destroyed everything in `its` path, and he became impediment of the mindless primitive within himself to stop `it` from destroying even the one he loved, because she had defiled his wishes. Hate* has a horror of its own, I believe it* comes from fear* of the unknown, fear and hate are forces that are intertwined within your psyche. The Satanist(the Banksters friend) uses this force to control his prey. But the prey knows someone Greater than himself, that my friend is Jesus the Christ, Almighty God. The mighty Holy Spirit within is greater than what the world, flesh and the devil can throw against you. Ephesians 6:10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13) Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand…………..If you put on `this armour` when the devil, demons, and the enemies of all unrighteousness see`s the armour they see that its God. When you use the name of Jesus you cast out demons from the `id` the very core of the mindless primitive within you. As it is We are a Spirit(the inner man), We have a soul(our mind), and We live in a body of flesh and bone.

Don’t understand the comment re: “dribble”, but I guess I don’t understand a lot of things.

Forbidden Planet was a great movie. Wasn’t the robots name “Robbie” Great concept about the id. Who was the blond co-star. I just can’t remember, but then again that movie came out when I was in grade school.

Just a comment on healthcare, recently a tv program showed that there was “listeriosis” all over hospitals. Of course cleaners were blamed.
I know a little about it so I proposed 3 solutions. 1 hire train and pay staff apropriatly, 2 leave all disinfectants in rooms so family and friends could do the job upon arrival. 3 cure the diseases.
As there is billions in research, i think they will look to cure disease before preventing them.
Might be an idea to disinfect any hospital room you visit. Anything hands can touch.

      Oct 09, 2012 09:59 PM

      Benb,
I went to wikipedia to update my knowlege regarding listeriosis. It is acquired mainly through consumption of contaminated food with bacteria called listeria monocytogenes. It is rarely acquired by touching items (with intact skin). I am not familiar with any particular outbreak of it currently. I will continue to inquire about this.
      Thanks,

      benb,
Point 2 of your comment is not advisable. (I am assuming you are referring to disinfectants other than hand washing chemicals?)
I’m not aware of any risk management team or administration in a hospital allowing disinfectant cleaning supplies being left in patient rooms. Too risky. Too many confused, suicidal, and other compromised patients and guests (at times) to allow chemicals of that nature to be left unattended. If patients, friends and families of patients are concerned with the cleanliness of the hospital, they should voice their concerns to the hospital administration and/or ACHA/Joint Commision. Believe me, you will see positive results. The hospital’s reimbursement from Government Agencies depends upon audits/inspections. I have worked in hospitals as an RN for almost 25 years, and the institutions I have and do work for are aware of their ethical obligation to keep hospital acquired infections to a minimum.
      Thanks,
      Jody
