The US has been the leader of the Western World but they must stop the wars, if you study organized crime they never make money when they war amongst themselves, wars are so destructive, if the mafia can figure it out what on earth is our government thinking. Be a brother allow peace to reign and you will have prosperity for all. GG

People need only to look at what has worked in the past but failure is associated with the unwashed masses.

Dummy’s think that the military is good for any economy, what propelled the US to prominence, it was their ability to make goods that people wanted to buy, people just want to be happy and enjoy their brief stay on earth, and that is the essence of a successful economy. Give the people what they want and life will be much more enjoyable and prosperous.

Henry Ford understood what was important and that was 100 years ago, what does it take for this to become reality again.

    Update from expected returns:
I came across this article about the golfer Phil Mickelson considering making “drastic changes” due to new tax laws in California and federally. This is a major wake-up call for those who believe that higher taxes don’t effect human behavior. However, perhaps the most interesting thing is how he is being attacked in the press for making these comments, even though he’s getting taxed on over 50% of his income. Regardless of whether he’s “right” or “wrong”, he has the right to make his own decisions with the money he has earned. If he decides to leave the U.S., so be it- he certainly will not be the only person.

Class warfare is starting to ramp up, which is the hallmark of an economy in collapse. Obama is getting more aggressive with gun laws, and I can assure you it’s because he knows civil unrest is coming. In this dynamic economy where changes that used to happen in a millennium are happening in months, people are being left behind. Who exactly is angry? Well the “rich” who just saw their tax rate rise are angry. So are the newly minted liberal arts grads who can’t find a job. And so are Boomers who didn’t fund their retirement and are relying entirely on entitlements that the government can’t mathematically keep. Civil unrest is just about guaranteed, so I would do everything in my power to plan for such a scenario.

If we were just sitting around and talking during normal times, it wouldn’t be debated whether wars/civil unrest occur ONLY during times of economic distress. Even people who acknowledge the economic collapse are hesitant to see this logic through. But wars, first economic in nature and indirect (like currency devaluations), are coming. Sooner or later, countries will get more aggressive just to survive, which means our debt will be sold by the likes of Japan and China. If this causes interest rates to rise to 6-7% and causes our annual interest payments to rise to over $1 trillion, which then puts our economy straight into Depression and puts people rioting on the street, is this not an act of war from the U.S. perspective?

I’m very serious when I say that there is a 6-12 month window to get everything organized. Interest rates are going to rise due to factors outside our control (Japan’s own implosion for example), and this is going to create unthinkable volatility. Cash is not king right now, cash alternatives are. Gold, artwork, and income-producing land.

      BTW, all:
Jim Sinclair is putting together his thoughts in totality, but broken up in segments that will outline our path from 2013 to 2017…very, very interesting AND it makes a TON of sense. His first missive on this is now published on his site at jsmineset.com.
      All the best,

Maybe a start would be do require viewing of The Gipper’s 2nd inauguration speech as a antidote to Obama’s flawed utopian falsified farce.

Mr. Melman seems like a fine right-thinking individual, part of the post-WW2 generation of Builders. What a shame that he has to see everything corrupted and squandered to a large extent by the generation that followed. The greatest shame is that it could all have been prevented.

      Lore,
Many of my clients express dismay bordering on guilt.
The reason we have arrived here is that many also hold true to the politically correct do not talk about religion and politics. So although they may care deeply about the mis-direction they voluntarily became spectators.

        Jan 23, 2013 23:21 PM

I guess the regulars here have talked about this before, but it seems that ~95% of the public is “stuck in the matrix” and will not wake up until crisis finally hits. Political correctness is one of the pillars of the welfare state. It too will fall.

          Jan 23, 2013 23:34 PM

Lore I appreciate both your common sense and your critical thinking ability.

Al, I live in Northern Calif and my representatives are all progressive ideologists. I have called their offices to dispute their ideology and get them to consider a more conservative approach. Their assistant who I speak to , do not want to hear anything about conservative thinking. I feel I am living in a non inclusive society.
and have no say so in what our government does. White males are considered to be Dinasors.

Mr. Melman stated that the educational system is guilty of loading down the kids with “propaganda from the left” — I agree. On the flipside, they are equally guilty of loading them down with “propaganda from the right.”

In short, the globalists NEVER attack anyone from just one side — they ALWAYS use a pincer attack (attack from the left — and — attack from the right). Raise up minions in communist Russia — raise up minions in capitalist USA (then pit the two “opposing” forces against one another to bring about a THIRD WAY (Socialism).

SPREAD PROPAGANDA FROM THE LEFT — AND — SPREAD AN EQUAL AMOUNT FROM THE RIGHT (to bring about a THIRD WAY of thinking — GLOBAL ONENESS). This is merely the well-known pincer attack in action — ironically, the diagram given on Wikipedia to explain this line of attack looks eerily similar to the UN Logo — it seems to represent the attack from both sides to bring about the THIRD WAY (One world government, economy, and religion based on New Age principles — a secular world — one that dethrones God and elevates man at the same time — a world based of SELF but disguised as a SELFLESS world (very slick bait and switch) — http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pincer_movement

If you travel, you will really see how fast the US is in decline!
I estimate only 4 to 5 years to the collapse of the US dollar.
No longer even the best looking dog in the pound!

Obama is either determined to bring down the US or is TOTALLY clueless.
