From Pete’s blog:

I’ve said America is well on its way to a economic, social, political and spiritual upheaval unlike anything its ever seen. Like it or not, Obama and crew is greatly accelerating us down this path. Many of us have become so frighten to speak our minds and lose sight of what made this country so great for the first couple of hundred years. A stage is being set for a war of the classes while the country gets divided by those who work for a living and those who vote for a living.

I understand people are better off collecting from the government than working for small wages. But we have to remember the idea to lower wages was intended some time ago. And I bet they reduce those benifits slow enough the reaction will be easily handled when they do.

What does making a living from thse markets contribute? Not much. If they shut these crooked markets down society would probobly be better off.
People would have to think of productive ways to make money, might actualyy help the economey and nation. So, I am reminded of a “cast the first stone” way of thinking. Maybe I am wrong tho.

I do believe that we the people had our chances to restore things. “had”
Now the choice might be, if you dont like it leave.
Anyone that cant see the police state grip tightening around their neck now has got to be an ostrich.

Gotta keep our eyes open and stay informed, benb!

Hi Al, I came across this article the other day about those who vote for a living – `Facebook is riddled with click farms where workers are in dingy rooms in Bangladesh, bars on the windows, generating 1,000 Likes for $1.oo http://refreshingnews99.blogspot.com/2013/08/facebook-is-riddled-with-click-farms.html?spref=fb – Does this sound like what a Bankster or an Obama would stoop to use to get people to LIKE you. …….. Then last week Obama gets Washington to issue a global terror alert, shutting down 20 of its embassies and consular sites across Africa and Asia. Staff were evacuted from some sites and flown to safer destination of Germany; US citzens were put on a general global travel warning; while US President Barack Obama and lawmakers in Washington were briefed with intelligence(?) showing the risk of an imminent terror attack at its greatest peak in 13 years since 9/11. >> Where was our Commander-in-Chief or should we say our War-Criminal-in-Chief was at Martha`s Vineyard for a weel long family vacation out golfing, hitting the beach, “hanging out“ with friends renting a $7.8-million estate in Chilmark, & on & on & on party on for the Obama`s. http://www.strategic-culture.org/pview/2013/08/13/usglobal-terroralertand-commander-in-chief-obama-hits-the-beach-golf-course-and-bookstore.html

wow click farms, I wondered if those existed! should help google profits too.

        Aug 16, 2013 16:38 PM

Click farms! WOW! I never heard of those.
I remember a Jim Dines interview on KWN (may have been the same one wherre he talked abour paradox and irony). He mentioned his old book “High States and Low States” (of being) and mentioned that he wanted to be in the ‘high state ‘of service to others and didn’t really necessarily advertise or want any more subscribers to his newsletter. He said “I have as much money as I need for the rest of my life – as long as I don’t buy anything!”.
Anyway, he described may people in this modern world (and many investors) as being in the ‘low state’ of “hyper needing to be liked.” Facebook and social networking in general has a great flaw in bringing this low state of existence to the fore. The internet is not all good.

One year Bryon grew and canned egonuh tomatoes to keep us stocked for almost a year. With two teenaged boys in the house at the time, that was no small feat.

The strivers versus the skivers. It’s a truly sad world when the latter skilfully weigh up the pros and cons of working only to realise that work does NOT pay.

      Aug 16, 2013 16:27 AM

      Yep, Reverend.

Yes, it is truly a sad world when that happens!

    Aug 16, 2013 16:01 AM

Political correctness has been around for a long time, only now it has been accelerated into levels that are intolerable. One of the reasons I left the US was to escape Political Correctness. What a relief to be able to express myself without the fear of losing my job or being sued! Things will not get better since the groundwork has been laid for Hillary to take over the helm in 2016. Liberals love the whole political correctness agenda because it allows them to ply their trade without having to hear dissenting views. One by one the rest of the Bill of Rights will disappear as well and the Liberals could care less as long as Uncle Sugar provides. I just can’t imagine being part of this type of system. Republicans are just too weak to be of any help in this regard. Very sad.

      Aug 16, 2013 16:28 AM

They are definitely in the gym to get stronger, Glen!

    Aug 16, 2013 16:11 AM

As Grandich always does, he speaks openly and without hedging and allows the chips to fall where they may.

      Aug 16, 2013 16:24 PM

And that, Frank, is why he is such a valued friend of ours!

        Aug 16, 2013 16:55 PM

Bravo! Good discussion. With you 100%.

    Aug 16, 2013 16:15 PM

I can”t remember where I read it, but it simply said all democracies end badly, because people can vote for what they want. I am a Dines Letter subscriber, and I remember one thing that James Dines said that stuck with me for a good reason.. He said you deserve the government you wish for. and He also said fiat money could last infinetly but never will because we do not have leaders who are God LIKE..Well that is a mouth full.sorry, there were actually 2 things that really stuck to my brain…thanks

      Aug 16, 2013 16:19 PM

      Thank you Deborah Lee!

Mr. Dines is a very interesting man.

They talk about “diversity” “multiculturalism” “tolerance” yet they accept absolutely no diversity of opinion, or tolerance of opinion unless you agree with:

Asia for the Asians, Africa for the Africans, White countries for EVERYBODY!

    That is the problem!!!

Multiculturalism and PC is worse than murder, being akin to genocide.

Whites have become the ultimate refugees, lost at home, refugees in their own nations, wanderers in their own cities.

The citizen of the first world often finds that he seems to belong less in his own country than the refugees flooding it.

Nobody is saying we must flood Asian countries with mass immigration to make them more ‘multicultural’.

No one’s talking about flooding African with non-Africans and giving them affirmative action, special rights and privileges, and free health care.

No one’s flooding Asia with non-Asians and giving them affirmative action, special rights and privileges, and free health care.

Multiculturalism and mass immigration into White countries and only White countries is GENOCIDE.

If multiCULTuralism and Die-versity are so great, why are we keeping them for ALL and ONLY white countries?

Africa will still be filled with Africans, Asia will still be filled with Asians, only white children suffer as the hated “racist” minority in declining third world hell holes.

Anti racism is a code word for anti White.

Look at the evidence of history. The economy, stock market, job market, debt levels, everything has done better when Democrats were presidents than when Republicans were presidents. Google it if you don’t believe me. The financial crisis didn’t occur when Democrats were in power. It occurred after almost a decade of George W. Bush and Republicans in power. The Great Depression occurred after a long period of conservative power, with Coolidge and Hoover leading the way. Right wingers can gripe all they want about President Obama and liberal policies, but the facts don’t support the complaints. It’s conservative policies of deregulation, tax cuts for the rich, producing bubbles and massive disparity in wealth, that are at the root of our problems. It’s free trade that has shipped our manufacturing jobs overseas. You folks need to look in the mirror and look at the objective evidence a lot more.

      Aug 16, 2013 16:45 PM

Real Republicans aren’t allowed in the Republican party today. The economic policies of most of the Republicans of the last century have been anything but conservative –particularly those of Hoover and G.W. FDR expanded the bad policies of Hoover just as Obama has expanded the bad policies of W. What you call evidence is ridiculous. Your naive implied claim is that the slate is wiped clean every 4 to 8 years. The Federal Reserve is the real culprit, and it is decidedly “liberal,” as in 5th plank of communism liberal. The problems have been building for a century.
If you’d like to learn some real history to balance out all those years of indoctrination, go to libertyclassroom dot com.
By the way, how do feel about those warmongering Democrats getting the U.S. involved in all the major wars of the last century and dropping atom bombs needlessly on civilians?
You’ve probably never heard of the depression of 1920-21 because it was handled right, that is, the market was allowed to correct itself. FDR’s depression was made much worse by government meddling.

Hey George, did you know what Pres. Clinton did between 1998-99 he repleaded Glass-Steagall Act, in other words he was “the one“ who allowed the robber barons Banksters rape America in the coming years to the present time – huge debt burden was allowed to destroy America via the Banks because Bill Clinton repealled Glass-Steagall Act, add to the fact this one deal, destroyed America.

    Aug 16, 2013 16:33 PM

What history book are you looking at? Most likely the new one from the liberal teachers union.

      Feb 03, 2014 03:27 AM

We’re just getting stteard. This was the first batch of ripe tomatoes. Good thing the boys will be home next weekend to help with the next few rounds. We use loads of them, too.

We make our choices and experience the outcome. I am thankful to live in a country where I can make both good and bad choices. Even though I need to lose a few pounds around the middle I sure enjoyed the ice cream I had after dinner. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter who the president is, what the job market is or isn’t doing, markets up, down, even … it doesn’t matter. What does matter is that we don’t allow anybody to interfere with the joy and comfy feeling we get from a simple dish of ice cream. The fact I can indulge in a treat freely, by choice, is what I like about America. Unfortunate we have reached a tipping point where it looks like we’ll have to fight for simple pleasures. Let’s toss all the political bums out and start over with the vision our founding fathers gave us … before the government screwed up the idea people are free to do as they please.
