It seems Gary that the key levels that everyone watches are falling short of expectations…$1425 was to be the tested go to area yet $1390 was it….a close over $1300 suggest as you say $1320+ yet we may not close today above $1300….

Big Al your always looking for that clarity in the markets, my friend your going to go blind …..lol…..there are far too many cross currents for clarity.

Gary – cash…that’s the one position very few investors know how to hold as they always think the will miss the big move.

The most positive action imo today in the precious metals sector is golds held its 200dma so far….silver $19.72 ….the HUI is in a battle between its 200dma and its 50dma 228-232….not bad with general US equities getting whacked

What I mean by that jj is clarity to me. Believe me, I look at a lot of scenarios and not just the obvious!

I hope gold does drop to 1240 or so, so I can make $ on puts and then buy in as well as buying calls on gdxj….thanks for your input Gary

I wonder if people have “wised up” and started to leave the market?
The hft trading hit msm the other day, ids it possible people don’t want to be robbed?

      Apr 07, 2014 07:45 PM

B, I would bet there is a lot of light bulbs that have been turned on!

    Apr 07, 2014 07:18 PM

It’s probably going to be a few (trading) days to know what direction gold and equities are going to move. In the short-term I’m watching to see if Russia has further designs on (eastern) Ukraine. A further move into Ukraine would affect all markets, to say the least. BTW, main stream media hasn’t been paying much attention to this. The taking of Crimea was a one day event.

      Apr 07, 2014 07:47 PM

I would bet Mike that nothing more will happen in the near future regarding the Ukrainian situation.

I would also ask, why would it take any longer that one day given the feelings of those living in Crimea?

Quote Gary: “We’re gonna lose all buyers…”. That guy is unbelievable.

Cory’s input is really valuable. Gary’s bs talk about intermediate cycle lows/highs, extended daily cycle lows/highs,… is almost unbearable. If it weren’t for Cory I would have given up listening to this Gary crap.

And yes, of course Gary is in cash. He never trades. Only in hindsight he tells us when he bought and sold. Of course at the exact tops and bottoms. That guy is losing his credibility very quickly.

hal your probably not aware but Gary has a paid subscriber web-site, those that pay for his advice get it first, what do you expect for Free?????

      Apr 07, 2014 07:37 PM

Are you an ex-subscriber or something, Hal?

        Apr 07, 2014 07:45 PM

No, I would never subscribe to a guy who recommends to hold highly volatile puts on SPY and QQQQ for TWO years. That guy is simply a joke. I don’t think he’s a trader. He just comments on the markets. Guys who can’t do teach or write a newsletter. 😉

If that’s the case hal provide the links, I’m all ears….sounds like you could have made a small fortune doing the opposite of his trades, did you, or are you not that smart?

          Apr 07, 2014 07:53 PM

          Hal/kong,
Knows full well we sold those puts for a profit at the Feb. bottom.

            hal
            Apr 07, 2014 07:54 PM

Sure. I’m certain it was the exact bottom. 😉

            Apr 07, 2014 07:37 PM

This is what you told your subscribers:

“I think 2016 puts on the QQQ or SPY are going to pay off many thousands of percent over the next two years”.

So how much was your profit and why didn’t you keep the puts for longer as recommended?

It’s too funny when you start your sentences with “I thiiiiink…”. You were telling your subscribers complete bs. Good you told them at least to get out of the trade as fast as possible.

Are you keeping a trade record for your subscribers so they can follow your performance or are you the perfect in hindsight trader even for people who pay you?

        Apr 07, 2014 07:48 PM

        Birdman, are you a subscriber?

          Apr 07, 2014 07:20 PM

I don’t subscribe to any site. Never have. I run my own show. Been following markets for decades and I have enough sense for it that I never thought the price of a subscription was worth it to me when I often had better insights than the writers.

            Apr 07, 2014 07:46 PM

The miners by the way delivered a 10.20% rally that next week. Not too bad for someone you continue to claim trades in hindsight.

            hal
            Apr 07, 2014 07:19 PM

This is really too funny. I made more than a 100% this year with miners without your advice. Not bad for some one who has no clue and isn’t one of your subscribers. 😉

Am I allowed to point to your bad calls too?

    Apr 07, 2014 07:38 PM

LMAO We should start a pool on how many minutes it takes for one of these morons to make a derogatory comment once Gary’s daily interview is published. Seriously Hall do you just wait by your computer all day just so you can get your troll fix?

If you do not like Garys calls do not listen I like his comments and hate to see bashers talking about it on line. Each to his own! I love this site!!!

      Apr 07, 2014 07:43 PM

But I like Cory’s input. If you don’t like my comments just don’t read them.

        Apr 07, 2014 07:09 PM

hal says, but I “love” Cory and “hate” Gary –> a perfect example of divide and rule.

          Apr 07, 2014 07:51 PM

I guarantee you C, that will not happen. We watch all comments very closely and when and if anyone gets to the “troll category” they are off this site.

      Apr 07, 2014 07:50 PM

      Thanks Tim.

Where have you gone Helipcopter Ben. You hung Janet out to dry.

Now she has to decide to put fighting back in Hockey!

People are about to learn Stocks Can go Down Too! Yeah they really can!

Gold isnt going up yet because people arent scared. Maybe they arent scared enough!

Let the earnings roll in now and confirm there never was a recovery.

We cant have a economy that is all about the latest iPhone and food delivery

It’s not a question of enough, pal. It’s a Zero Sum game – somebody wins, somebody loses. Money itself isn’t lost or made, it’s simply, transferred – from one perception to another. Like magic.

Ever heard of The New Fed Chair curse, James?

      Apr 07, 2014 07:52 PM

Stocks go down? Common The Greater, really!

    Apr 07, 2014 07:26 PM

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion here. Unless Big Al says otherwise, cause he’s the law here. This is a free site that provides valuable interviews from several individuals. A little respect towards the people being interviewed seems the least we can do, whether or not we agree with or like their comments. My last word on that. Now, let’s have a great game tonight!

      Apr 07, 2014 07:53 PM

And Mike, tomorrow night in Seattle!

    Apr 07, 2014 07:27 PM

So stocks dropping, credit borrowing going up, mortgages down, bond rates falling, employment stagnant, and problems in Ukraine again (among other places). Yet Gold and Silver float. The question is…..do you dare drop out of positions in PM’s knowing this could swing around especially with Ukraine issues?

What do you all think will happen in the next 1-2 weeks?

Predict your low. Your high. End of year target

Low 1293, High 1321 end of year 1475

      Apr 07, 2014 07:04 PM

If you are a long-term investor in gold it makes sense to keep at least a core holding. If the second half of 2014 is going to be (very?) good for gold, the risk is not having some short-term in case the unexpected (crisis) happens.

        Apr 07, 2014 07:54 PM

Gold/ Silver equals indefinite term for Big Al and Kathy!
