      Moderation is a great idea.
As a world traveler, my IP address may well change quite often, but I try to keep my email address constant.
I do stop reading the Kereport when the noise gets too high, as it has recently.
I personally try mostly to add knowledge to the site., although I may upset some folks.

        Apr 17, 2014 17:39 PM

You upset absolutely no one. Hopefull we have gotten rid of all of the bs you refer to. If not we will stay on top of it!

This is a pce of a Jim Willie article posted on Silver Doc.
Al…, Notice the part about Barrick.
A pce of info as to why Ed Steer wont touch a goldstock.

    CANADA DITTO ON FAILURE

The Jackass howls in laughter at the claim that Canada is different, an independent nation, a refuge of wiser leadership, the Great White North with more integrity. What nonsense! Canada is in the US pocket, and has been for a very long time. The arguments that Canada is different or better or free from gold corruption are truly baseless and stupid. The big Canadian banks short gold with Wall Street banks, and have been doing so for a long time. See the Scotia Mocatta alliance with JPMorgan in recent months. The Canadian Govt efficiently vacated all their gold in the 1980 and 1990 decades. It was probably stolen in part by Mulroney, just like as Bush & Clinton & Rubin stole the US gold. See the hidden brisk activity at BARRICK Gold, where the ex-prime minister sat on the Board of Directors. Pay close attention to the EVERGREEN GOLD CONTRACTS by BARRICK, which never force under contract the delivery of gold, only the sale under dubious specious contracts. Then the big Canadian banks are deeply committed in the Wall Street and London derivative entanglements, just like the big US banks. All their big banks are hollow reeds, just like in the Untied States. Lastly, the Canadian stock exchanges engage in rampant naked shorting of the mining stocks, not by those who wish to preserve the fiat currency system, but rather by the investment banks that fund the capital requirements for the mining firms themselves. They sell more shares than granted on finance deals. The most disturbing gold factor from Canada in the last year has been the collusion of Scotia Mocatta with JPMorgan in the provision of gold bullion. They have been offered some special deal for the future, but that future will include a charred landscape and devils as warlords. Scotia Mocatta is in Satan’s service at the Wall Street altar. The old formula still holds: CANADA = UNITED STATES / 10 (just like always). The Jackass expects an extreme conflict very soon, as Canada is far more a Chinese commercial colony than the Untied States. My expectation is that Toronto, Ottawa, and Vancouver will soon begin marching to a different drummer out of Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. A big hat tip to David Chapman for his recent article (CLICK HERE) on the Money Velocity subject, where the graphic was obtained

As for this new “policy” probly a good idea.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:45 AM

Thanks bb. Yeh, I am tired of the personal insults as they serve absolutely no constructive purpose.

By the way, Jim is an interesting individual.

        Apr 16, 2014 16:14 AM

Ya..AL….Jim Willy is fun to listen to. Very direct.

          Apr 16, 2014 16:21 AM

Don’t you agree that most of the folks in this sector are interesting?

            Apr 16, 2014 16:28 AM

Absolutely AL….they are all great guys and gals. However as the old sayin goes
There is always a bad indian in every bunch that wants to spoil it for the rest.

This site and forum will prosper if the respect is maintained. IMVHO

I feel positive that I can post without being attacked and others are not
            abused either.

            Apr 16, 2014 16:31 PM

Trust me Heavy, personal attacks will be removed quickly.

    Apr 16, 2014 16:53 AM

Hey Big Al, for the most part this site is a goldbug site, one can easily see when your experts, Doc, Gary, Rick are calling for higher bullion prices and mining indexs the general thought here with your posters is away we go the bottom is in and the resumption of the gold bull is occurring.

When your experts suggest a negative turn is in place posters here attack the message and post links to sites that have been 100% incorrect these past 2+ years. Gary gets called out for being flip flop yet the chart action suggests Mr Market is changing its trend.

Basically imo most here just want to hear bullish outlooks, reasons to own an investment that continues to fail at taking out key levels that would prove gold is again in a bull market.

I’m like Rick I don’t invest based on fundamentals or opinions but the action on the chart and that’s why I’ve been short (again) since gold fell below $1350 just as I went short when THE support levels most gurus claimed would never fall, $1525

There is no point in me being here as this is a site for those long bullion and its miners.

Good luck to you all, one day all the perma bullish gurus will be right again and would have claimed they all called THE bottom…..again, and again and again!

I have no time for Hope just the facts being Price is everything!

      Apr 16, 2014 16:14 AM

For what it is worth, please don’t put me and many others in the perma bull camp. I never have and never will be.

      All the best, my friend.

        Apr 16, 2014 16:27 AM

Big Al, perhaps your not aware that you are a one sided bull towards the precious metals sector, its really easy to know if you are, have you gone to 100% cash with your pm’s investments in the last 2+ years, have you held a short position using ETF’s shorting Gold, Silver or the miners? If no, your a perma bull regardless of what the price is….yes you have guests on that suggest if this support fails in gold a lot lower pricing could unfold, but you stay long……anyone who only buys is a buy side salesmen.

Many so called long term investors are that not by choice but because their positions are very much underwater.

I do find it extremely odd Al that the 3 guests you have on daily are all technical chart followers, yet you admit you don’t understand the technical side of investing, value its guidance yet don’t learn or apply it, odd imo.

And all the best to you Al as you know I’m not 100 different names posting here, but a professional trader with many years experience vs some bull pumping basement dweller shooting down anyone who isn’t in the camp….to da moon!

Enjoy your Easter weekend and lets hope the Easter Bunny doesn’t do a mega contract dump within the Comex Sun eve…..not like we all haven’t seen that game before

          Apr 16, 2014 16:29 PM

          Thanks original,

My response is that I only hold gold and silver (physical) for the reasons that I have mentioned on numerous occasions.

Regarding our 3 guests, I rely on them for technical input. There is not enough time for me to try and reach their level of expertise.

Regarding our resource sector investments, they represent at current prices about 12.2 percent of our portfolio. That number was significantly higher in the past. I continue to purchase select shares in this area, but as I said a number of months ago, the sideline is where we are at in this sector.

I have repeatedly stated that I firmly believe in diversification. To me that is not representative of a one sided bull.

Maybe I could be classified as a perma bull because of our holdings. Let me just explain, if gold went down to $100/oz or lower I would not sell our holdings because I don’t believe the price is that important for the reasons that we hold it and silver. Regarding the stocks, if this market comes back, and I believe that it will (maybe that makes me a one sided bull) our positions should increase ten fold or more. We certainly have experienced that in the past. Why sell out these positions at these prices?

By the way, we really appreciate your continued commentary.

    Apr 16, 2014 16:06 AM

I fully agree with keeping the atmosphere of debate but without all the
unnecessary derogatories and degrading. I believe friendly should be
the order of the day. Quite frankly, when I see that some is being abused
and especially for no reasonable cause, concerns me. In the sense I feel
dispair for why that should take place and grieve for the way that person
has been treated. Bird and me in the past played a lot of games. Nothing
that was to be taken serious but things can change and just like the best
jokes that can go wrong. I have always told Bird he is really gifted and his
commemts are valuable just as long as its done with goods intentions
showing respect. I need to do the same. Not innocent of anything.

Al and Cory you are very cool dudes. All of the poster’s are too. Before I
forget as far as the guests are concerned and maybe I’m wrong but some
posters should be that much more respectful to our valued guests. Anyway,
thank you for listening. My deepest respects to everyone.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:18 AM

      Thanks man!

    Apr 16, 2014 16:06 AM

Well guys if they would do it to the son of God they would do it to you so consider yourselves in good company. Try to forget the problems with the market and those that run it if you can this week end even if it is for a short time. May God bless and guide you all.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:19 AM

      And you too Steven,

      God bless

    Apr 16, 2014 16:16 AM

Al / Corey, I totally agree with you. Lets be civil with each other. Happy Easter.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:21 AM

      Thanks Fred S

    Apr 16, 2014 16:23 AM

Well said Al and Cory. Lets keep the focus on why we are all here, to learn more about gold and silver, and all things connected to it. Right now I’m short Gld and long in many other stocks and etfs. The end of June is one of the low points for metal almost every year, but maybe not this year. Lets keep our sense of humors and be humble. The last couple years, gold has given me and a lot of other people a good lesson in humility.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:35 AM

Thanks Gary, I would like to add “so that we can become more politically astute”.

    Apr 16, 2014 16:01 PM

DOES THAT MEAN…………the” OWL COINLAND REPORT” …..is finished……….

      Apr 16, 2014 16:16 PM

If it is finished. ? Jerry….I would be very disappointed.

I can’t quote all your savy comments that blew me away
at times. However, there will never be another Jerry like
you. Its like when Bob Hope passed. Never be another
Bob Hope. One of a kind…man.

        Apr 16, 2014 16:40 PM

I don’t think that we are going to lose thicker skinned Jerry, Heavy! Certainly hope not anyway!!

          Apr 16, 2014 16:47 PM

Al……….I am stuck like bubble gum, to your sandals ,,,harder to kick off than dust…

            Apr 16, 2014 16:48 PM

besides……….until the bubble pops ……..we need to keep chewing………

            Apr 16, 2014 16:49 PM

Chewing until the bubble pops? Let me think about that!

        Apr 16, 2014 16:44 PM

        thanks HH…for the kind words……………

      Apr 16, 2014 16:44 PM

Absolutely not! The bastards will never get us down!

Really don’t want to lose friends like you?

Owl or Mr. Coinland (whatever you choose)

    Apr 16, 2014 16:11 PM

I totally agree with the editorial and the actions being taken. My view is that all comments and views are welcome (by me) as long as they are respectful. This is a free site/service and there is much knowledge to be shared and gained. Lastly, the situation regarding Ukraine deserves close attention. A “misstep” could have severe economic consequences for the EU as well as globally.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:42 PM

I completely agree with both comments, Mike. Thanks

    Apr 16, 2014 16:42 PM

    Well put Al and Cory.

    Apr 16, 2014 16:48 PM

Al & Cory, I value your site and support your decision. Being able to agree or respectfully disagree is important. Thank you.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:28 PM

      Thanks

    Apr 16, 2014 16:30 PM

Thanks for cleaning up. We live in very uncertain times, and in times like this it’s helpful to calmly sit back and remind ourselves of what we actually know for sure as opposed to what we just wish and hope for. We know that gold and silver have functioned as money, worldwide, for a very long time. We also know that no fiat currency has survived for even a single normal lifespan as hard as their creators have tried to make it so. We know certain increasingly powerful nations are accumulating gold at a rapid pace whereas powerful but declining powers deny the validity of gold as currency and refuse to prove how much they actually hold, so there is a big tug of war going on internationally. We know the USA will fiercely defend their petrodollar and we also know that many major oil producers are sick and tired of being bullied by the USA so something’s got to give before long, and it won’t be pretty. Fire and war are devastating, so insurance is prudent. Gold and silver are beyond the capacity of governments to create, although they may try to steal it if they can find it, so get it out of harm’s way. Best wishes to all.

      Apr 16, 2014 16:35 PM

Thanks for your entire comment Arnie D!

    Apr 16, 2014 16:52 PM

Best to Al and Cory, and everyone.
Hope everyone is still stacking PM’s at these prices.

    Apr 16, 2014 16:05 PM

You know Al and Cory! Thank you for doing this
Clean up on your site! I listen everyday but stop
Reading the comments on many because of trash
Talks! Agreed we are all family and family come with respect!

Thanks for taking the time in caring! Rl

      Apr 16, 2014 16:43 PM

      No Ricky Lee, thank you!
