UPDATE: The Decline In Shanghai Silver Stocks Picks Up Speed
Could we be heading toward a shortage of silver in the world? I posted an article around a week ago detailing the decline in silver inventories on the Shanghai and COMEX exchanges. It turns out that last week the withdraws picked up even more. Check out the chart below that shows the decline in Shanghai silver inventories.

This sounds like an arbitrage move. When the price rises this silver will find its way back onto the exchange at a higher price if the move works. The question is; is it worth the risk of trying to ride this price wave? IMHO.
Prices should ……..go higher,,,,,but, if JPM has 6000 tons…….will they lend it to the Comex, like Buffit sold to establish the ETF………….?

What does the board and panel of experts expect would happen if this trend continued for 3-4 weeks and depleted all the reserves in Shanghi? Has an exchange ever run out of a commodity or PM?
