WHERE DID THE EXECUTIVE ORDER ……BY JOHN B. GO……it disappeared………

      Jun 23, 2014 23:38 AM

I just went to SNOOPS .COM,,,,there seems to be a difference of thought, concerning the executive orders and the number of executive orders……..so, could we please see JOhn B’s submittal……………..thank……………………………j.

        Jun 23, 2014 23:40 AM

I am happy to put it back up, but my research shows it to be false.

Please look into this Jerry, and when I get back from working out (about an hour) I will either repost it or leave it off depending on your research.

        Thanks

          Jun 23, 2014 23:43 AM

see my notes…….on the previous post…………thanks…………….j……..

in order to do the research……………..I would need the post and JOHN B’S web sight,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or his reference to the subject………….thanks……….j.
Like all web site…………who is to be trusted, like Bob M would say, zerohedge is rubbish. I am still waiting a response to some others as to their opinion and if zerohedge is to be a trusted sight for information…., I like to have reliable truths, and do not like posting liars comments…………………respectfully ………………j………..

    Al,

Off Topic. You asked me whether I still follow Mr. Dines. This is a tough question. I always try but I found his message confusing lately. Maybe he runs out of ideas in this strange time. I followed his recommendations in gold, silver, uranium, rare earth and other hard assets.
However, I missed his call in 3D printing. Since I work in high tech field so I am not fascinated by this development. I see it too often and become numb. I still cannot see how 3D printing revolutionize industry. It is amazing if you look at it but how can we take it beyond current stage and make it real mass production technology instead of custom production tool in very limited areas. Otherwise, it can never compete with traditional technology which is highly sophisticated and specialized and controlled by computers. In particular, all current solid circuit in silicon device use similar concept and million fold more successful. I still cannot see how additive manufacturing (3D Printing) can go beyond shape forming stage and compete with real industrial technology. There are too many other factors other than shape formation in industry such hardness, properties, durability, internal structure, etc. How can we use powder and glue to achieve all of these? I think 3D will go through many frustrations like artificial indigence in the last 30 years, a lot of hypes, a lot of hopes and a lot of setbacks. I might be wrong.
I did try to get 3D printing stocks but they were so hyped up while I was hesitating. I bought the only stock I feel fair valued in China which produces the material for 3D printing. It has been up. All the others are so risky.
So to answer your question, I have deviated from Mr. Dines’ recommendation lately but I am waiting for him to comeback.

      Jun 23, 2014 23:41 AM

Sorry. I mean artificial intelligence not “artificial indigence”. Word did the trick.

      Jun 23, 2014 23:53 AM

3D printing is a “game changer”, Lawrence. The problem resides in the name itself, because the word “printing” is so associated with ink-on-paper. Replace the word “printing” with “fabrication” and the game-changing aspects become immediately apparent. I work in “hi tech”, also, and I’ve nearly missed some “game changers” because I was too close to the action to recognise the transformational technology I was seeing.

        Jun 23, 2014 23:12 AM

Thanks. Do you mind to give me some insight analysis. I can appreciate the technology but cannot see it become mainstream if you just talk about Additive Manufacturing. I know full well about computer aided disgn and manufacturing which is great. I even wrote some machine level code long time ago. My problem with the naming is it misleads people and can be easilly hyped. Even the manufacturer made the device like printer to impress people.

I can see that Additive Manufacture can easilly make powder material to some shape. But how to achieve the properties of the objects makes me wonder. Maybe I am too old to appreciate new stuff.

        Dallas,
You still believe this is a b wave? Were about to break through 1330.

      Jun 23, 2014 23:46 PM

I talked with him briefly when we were on the same panel at one of the conferences. It, quite frankly, did not strike my fancy.

      Thanks for answering my questions.

        Jun 23, 2014 23:39 PM

        Al,

I am not subscriber to Mr. Dines’ letter but I have a good friend who is. However, I do listen to his big pictures. Lately his message has been fairly confusing due to his deflation argument and sometimes contradicting to his own investment ideas, I just try to let it pass for a period. Mr. Dines is a visionary and has been very early in the cycles. Except his marijuana call which is way beyond my ethical tolerance, I at least try to follow his recommendations. As I know of, he is predicting a big run in gold and silver coming soon.

          Jun 23, 2014 23:07 PM

I have to agree with you regarding the medical marijuana situation at least at its current stage!

At the risk of showing a lack of open-mindedness and a whole lot of prejudice, I am about ready to DROP YOU FROM THIS SITE. You very possibly are a disgrace to fellow Guinness drinkers. Go and enjoy you fru-fru drinks!

Kudos to Gary for saying cycles don’t work all the time any many times are not of use. Often I find cycles don’t work when I have money on the line which is frustrating to say the least! Combining technical studies with a look at cycles seems best to me.

    Jun 23, 2014 23:38 AM

Al, cory thanks a bunch for sharing my comment with Gary. Very informitive.

Gary kudos to you for sharing what you have learned with all of us. You my friend are a great person.

Cycles are best viewed using a Weekly chart and a moving average. Better yet, if you trade using Thinkorswim, cycle brackets can be fit to the chart using the Drawings feature. Several cycles can be overlain; long-term, mid-, and short-term cycles. The cycles in XLE weekly are obvious and gold since July 13. Buy at cycle lows and set a stop; the risk to reward is best at cycle bottoms; Gary’s method works most of the time, and trading is an exercise in probabilities.

Re: Executive Orders. I received the email, Big AL.

All Executive orders are in the Federal register.
e.g. This will get you all executive orders signed in 2013,

The claim posted earlier was a fabrication. Most executive orders are very boring and basically administrative.

Here’s some summaries as an example.
