    Chris
Your segment this morning made complete sense to me; I have been slowly drifting towards the “Check my stocks every hour” mentality. Time for me to get a life. I will be looking at your service today.

Just try telling me my natural gas call of yesterday was not timed to perfection!

Pretty darn good, by the look of things! Especially with Germany trying to commit energy suicide…net result will be to pull US nat. gas prices higher in the end. I Tweeted and otherwise circulated a great piece by Rick Santelli on CNBC earlier today…I have to wonder if we’re just as vulnerable to energy shocks now as we were in the 70’s, thanks to moron “leaders.”

It will be hell on earth if we get an energy crisis like that last doozy in the Seventies. I recall it like it was yesterday. Weird how things like that stick with you. Meanwhile over here in Africa it is already a case of shortages.

We drove around this afternoon to 6 fuel stations before finally finding one that had gas on hand. Long lineup. No surprise. And no Jerry cans allowed because they don’t approve of hoarding (and this is why you need to buy when there is plenty!). Some days the people here park their cars in the lineup the night before so they don’t lose their place when the fuel truck arrives to fill the main tanks.

Getting back to reality though….I have a sneaking suspicion that Nat-gas closes the gap from mid July and then starts falling back towards 3.50 so we won’t get too excited about it just yet. Crude on the other hand looks a go for tomorrow. One day at a time I suppose.
