We are very close to a major low for commodities in my opinion. If the CCI dips below 500, that would be a good time to bet on your favorite ones in my opinion.

I am watching silver like a hawk. I placed severals bid for SVM, CEF.A and SDB.UN (TSX) below the current price (for SBT.UN just 0.5% below). They have been there for several months.The range is too narrow so it is hard to buy. It starts to get frustrating.
I don’t consider gold or even silver to be commodities, except in a general sense. I think both bottomed more than 13 months ago. Looking at the current short term downtrend, there’s a decent chance that silver bottomed today or will very shortly.
Humanitarian aid – gets called that when the U.S. drops 500 lb bombs on Iraq, while the U.S. suspects 280 trucks with basic provisions going to E. Ukraine as something different!

Should interest rates move up, how would that effect goldstocks?
Just out of interest, since seabridge got their environmental approval, it has been trending up, up about 10.5% since then.
Seabridge is a very interesting situation.
Interest rates up effect? Go back and look at the price of gold in the mid to late seventies!

Looks to me the risk/reward is really in favour of owning them now.
Lets hope the market doesn’t stay irrational longer than we can remain solvent.
To be honest, Ive been more scared of not owning them than I have of owning them for quite some time now.
