http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/11121113/Gold-Lamborghini-Aventador-creates-a-buzz-in-Paris.html Check out this $4 million Lamborghini, it is gold plated with Saudi plates spotted at a Paris show, this is really a “Ponzi” scheme where .0000001% of the people control 99% of their nation’s oil wealth. The man on the street has no work, they have no industry but he is allowed to spend his days in air conditioned fast food restaurants gaining weight and inheriting western health problems until the oil is depleted and the air conditioning is turned of. Have you ever thought that maybe this could be the major reason there are so many terrorist groups in The Middle East.

      Nice post……….the Saudi’s and the elite………OIL what a scam………..

        Sep 26, 2014 26:20 AM

Kind of a scam, but more importantly an economic reality that is definitely the elephant in the room!

George Soros is betting heavily on a market drop.

I tend to think it is a bad bet to go contrary to a billionaire.

      Sep 26, 2014 26:34 AM

      How do you know this?

      Sep 26, 2014 26:34 AM

Especially very well connected billionaires like that one.

      Sep 26, 2014 26:42 AM

Yeah, because billionaires are never wrong! Ha Ha Ha!!!! Don’t make me laugh man.

        Just better connected…………………

          Sep 26, 2014 26:05 AM

You ever consider it might be a ploy to keep bringing shorts into the market? About the only thing moving shares up some days is covering. Who better than a respected person is the gold community to keep you guys all on the edge of your seats. This has been going on for years already. If I had a nickel for every time I heard one of the pop billionaires was going short in a big way…..

            Sep 26, 2014 26:16 AM

What? Soros is respected in the gold community?! He’s respected in your establishment, fiat la la land community!

            Sep 26, 2014 26:37 AM

You guys sure quote him a lot.

            Sep 26, 2014 26:33 AM

            Lame.

            Sep 26, 2014 26:27 PM

            Like Any Middle-aged Economist (L.A.M.E.)

        Sep 26, 2014 26:04 AM

Bird, surely my Cadillac is smarter than your Nash Rambler.

          Sep 26, 2014 26:08 AM

Don’t get me weepy. I loved those Ramblers. Just wish I had one now. But to answer your question….no, extra money does not necessarily make you smarter or better connected. Look at the Hunt Brothers as just one example.

Bird,,,,you have got to be kidding on the Rambler………that was the worst machine made at the time………..4 cylinder , with fold down seats………..unless you got a deluxe model with a pretend stick shift……1964 440……, My mother had one of those cheap models, but, I will have to say, she did love it also., but, she was Scot-Irish…

            I bet you dated a girl with a Vega…….

            Sep 26, 2014 26:26 AM

Guess I was just fond of them. We did have one in 65 or thereabouts. Damn doors would not stay closed and the kids fell out once. So yeah it was junk but try finding one these days.

About the Vega, J…I have no idea what the gals were driving. Who watches their cars?

            Sep 26, 2014 26:27 PM

Jerry, Bird dated a girl who had a pony and he had a mustang!

            DT…………I think it was a PINTO………..

            Sep 27, 2014 27:11 AM

I once dated a girl with a big pony tail. Held on to that damn thing like I was riding a horse. I won’t ever forget her!

      Sep 26, 2014 26:21 AM

      Hi CFS,

      I share Gary’s question.

        Sep 26, 2014 26:23 AM

        Great dialog Jerry and Bird!

Soros talking his book: Honest long (-term), Crooked short (-term).

    Sep 26, 2014 26:14 AM

I have no interest in being long the market, but I did just sell some SPY puts yesterday. Gary might be right about more gains ahead. You don’t tend to see MSM articles like this one at a top:

It’s not often I get a laugh listening to your show Al, but you guys cracked me up today. The invisible hand is it? Ha Ha!! Could you get more sarcastic?

      Sep 26, 2014 26:24 AM

Yes I certainly could, but I am not sure that any new listeners would understand!

Gotta go now and polish my Metropolitan!

        Sep 26, 2014 26:17 PM

I think we should call you Metro Al.

    Sep 26, 2014 26:08 AM

LMAO….Al has the most sarcastic day EVER!!! hahahah…So funny Al! 😉

      Sep 26, 2014 26:24 AM

      Thanks you Stewie!

    Sep 26, 2014 26:31 AM

What is the Fed? God? Good grief, you would think the heads of state could alter the value of the gravitational constant. The invisible hand is the hand of God Almighty: invincible, immense, infinite, immortal, immutable, inexorable, INCOMPREHENSIBLE! All the billionaires I know are doomed, DOOMED!

      Sep 26, 2014 26:41 AM

Wayne, if their doomed I want to be the guy who opens the gate for the dooooooooooooomed ones! (he, he, like a walmart greeter)

      Sep 26, 2014 26:25 AM

      Wayne,

Of course you are correct. Notice I said “of Adam Smith”!

    Sep 26, 2014 26:04 AM

I’m reading this while listening to Muse – Uprising song …lol

      Sep 26, 2014 26:35 AM

Hamilton is a smart guy, for sure.

        Sep 26, 2014 26:43 AM

You should double down on those puts then. Good luck, M!

        Sep 26, 2014 26:12 PM

Hamilton been nailing tops and bottoms for years now and his contrarian logic is always extensively explained. I’ve been reading his articles for years now. I like to read his articles and Bob Mariority cause usaually both of these guys are in harmony yet neither of them knows about the other as bob doesn’t even post Adam’s articles on his site. How uncany is that? When both of them call top next time i’m f…en out of gold for 6 months plus until some correction takes place.

    Sep 26, 2014 26:33 PM

If Gary’s manipulation theory is true (for stocks I mean), it is a huge moral hazard and there is no way out either there is hard crash like 1929 when FED have to stop doing it for whatever reason or have to create a bigger bubble and suck all money into paper shuffling. Real economy will be destroyed. Hyper inflation is a real possibility ifthey are willing to support the market forever. I believe FED is buying futures. Are they buying actual stocks?

Saw this on Silver Doctors. Pretty damn funny too. The fear parade is a joke.

What to do when Experts Tell You The “End is Here”.

    A Familiar Tune

“Wow man, have you heard the interview that USAThinkTank.com just did with Harry Sincloud?”

“No bro! I meant to listen to it, but I haven’t found the time yet. What was it about?”

“Dude, it’s about to explode, the whole dang thing! Everything’s getting too crazy out there, what with all the Eastern gold-buying, and the new Shanghai metals exchange opening up a few days early! Sincloud said this is a sure sign that spells trouble for the manipulation game. Big. Trouble.“

    “How big?”

“Like, $2,100 gold and $100 silver within 3 months kinda trouble!“

    “Whoa! Are you serious?!”

“Man, you don’t even know! Furthermore, he said Shanghai running low on precious metal inventory to deliver means that this manipulation game is history! That the derivative fall-out will cause the dominoes of banks to go down by Christmas!

“Holy Star of Bethlehem! That doesn’t give me much time!”

“It get worse man! Much worse! The bank failures will trigger bail-ins by New Year’s Eve, which will cause a bloodbath in the sovereign bond markets, microwaving any wealth that retirees had left in their IRA accounts! Oh, and the Dow Jones? LOL, fuggedaboutit!”

“I gotta head to my local coin shop, and clean them out, but I was hoping I’d have time first to take out a second mortgage on my home, so I could max out my purchases immediately!”

“No man, this is the endgame! It’s all over. You don’t have time to do any of that stuff. Just go get your affairs in order right now. Oh! And keep your gas tank full, and plenty of toilet paper on hand!”

“Oh, trust me, I’ve got the toilet paper covered. Remember three Thanksgivings ago, when Bax Morton warned of a global bond meltdown by the following Groundhog Day? I emptied the shelves at Sam’s. Dude, they looked like they’d been hit by looters!”

“That’s good man, because this is THE.BIG.ONE. We’re talking complete breakdown and chaos! Time’s up for these banks. Our time has arrived!”

    Ha Ha Ha!!!!!

      Sep 26, 2014 26:51 PM

Yes Birdman, that is pretty close to what the doom-and-gloomers and fear mongers say. I have had some friends and relatives get unnecessarily worried when they read things from them. Of course they felt better after I told them the truth and that things are not as bad as the fear mongers make it. I knew how it was when I first started reading things on doom-and-gloom and fear monger sites. I started to get overly paranoid until I found that they all of them state things that are not really true. They remind me of Gov. Palin and her “death panels” paranoid.

        Sep 27, 2014 27:17 AM

That makes two of us. For awhile I was really drawn into the paranoid fear fold too. Actually I was losing a lot of sleep over it because the arguments were so well constructed. but one day I woke up and started picking apart what those morons were saying. I have never looked back and thank God because life has been a joy since I discovered the many flaws in the bold outrageous statements that are being incessantly bandied about. They better be good before they pull the wool over my eyes now.
