Dang, gold broke below 1200. Sure hope the trend reverses before I have to become a Wall Mart greeter…there may be no future in that, anyway…

Yes gold is below 1200 but there are some other more significant technicals levels only about $20 lower…

Hang off on putting in that resume to Wal-Mart just yet. Maybe we can out ours in together 😉

        Oct 30, 2014 30:37 PM

A bit over $1200 at this moment gentlemen. Don’t start with those resumes quite yet!

        Oct 30, 2014 30:47 PM

Cory ? YAMANA ONDER 6 CAD What you think ?

          Oct 30, 2014 30:04 PM

Dang, I’ve got some Yamana. That’s gonna leave a mark.

            Oct 30, 2014 30:14 PM

            You feel buy more ?

        Oct 31, 2014 31:03 AM

Ya’ll quit pushing in line. I need to get my Wal-Mart greeter resume in too.

Right on R.A. $1125 if that falls $1000 will be like a big magnet….the miners terrible Q3 reporting is adding fuel to the fire sale…..FUNDAMENTALS have been useless Al for 3 years!

Fri dead cat bounce will have all the bulls dancing again howling at the moooon, lol

      Oct 30, 2014 30:45 PM

I feel like fundamental will reign supreme in the long run but until then we do need to put a lot of consideration into technicals. That is personally why I have been studying up on them.

        Oct 30, 2014 30:52 PM

Basic investing/trading Cory, fundamentals work in a bull market not a bear market, why do you think so many of the smartest investors like Sprott and Rule have been so wrong destroying so many investors wealth within the pm’s sector for 3 years now, they are clueless as to how trading a bear market works

        Oct 30, 2014 30:39 PM

        I completely agree Mr Fleck!

      Oct 30, 2014 30:10 PM

The fundamentals are that a lot of these gold companies may be going to go bust!

        Oct 30, 2014 30:43 PM

Silvrrbuggy, according to fundamentals you are absolutely correct. That is what fundamentals are all about!

Check out columbus gold…bob moriarty did a nice write up on them in the gold report. I’m waiting until summer to see if Gary is right…until then Gdxj puts are up nearly 80% today 🙂 thanks Rick, Gary.

I hadn’t imagined the December futures would be halfway there by Friday morning — but they are.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:21 PM

Rick u mentioned a low of 20 for GDXJ?

    Oct 30, 2014 30:47 PM

20.76 is my bear market target, Biggus — and sorry to be the messenger. I do see a tradable bounce coming at 25.59, though, and it’s always possible that that will be the begnning of a major rally.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:09 PM

I have an Andrews pitchfork on the gold chart that is not violated if gold goes to 1190. If it bounces it might confirm a longer term shallow uptrend.
On the other hand maybe we are going to 700, who knows?

    Oct 30, 2014 30:40 PM

Rick beware of the megaphone pattern.Very bearish pattern. We could reach higher highs ok but then it could take a plunge down.Take care buddy and keep up the excellent roundups that you give us.Kudos brotha.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:08 PM

Very big thanks goes especially to you Al and cory that make these roundups with smart people possible. Thanks guys.

      Oct 30, 2014 30:57 PM

      You are welcome Don C

It is what keeps me going, man!

    Oct 30, 2014 30:25 PM

Al 1125 is very probable according to elliott wave analysis and it is most likely to be reached later next week or the week after.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:49 PM

Al, can you talk to the silver producers and asking them why they don’t reduce production and how they survive this? Also can you asking them to be realistic since we can see their financials so don’t say they are making money. None of them do.

    This really puzzles me. Thanks.

      Oct 30, 2014 30:45 PM

If I am not mistaken, they are doing debt financing. This makes them very vulnerable. Once the the creditor calls the debt, they are done.

      Oct 30, 2014 30:51 PM

We are in the proces of arranging just that.

        Oct 30, 2014 30:15 PM

        thanks a lot.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:18 PM

    Rick,

thanks for the numbers and calls. Very much appreciated.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:25 PM

Thanks rick. I took a position in GDXJ on Wednesday and have already taken a haircut. Did not think that the miners could be hit quite so hard as they have in the last couple of days.

    Oct 30, 2014 30:33 PM

Surely we will get a bounce in the miners in the next couple of trading days. Lets hope its not a dead cat bounce. Alternatively, i could jump into JDUST !

There is no technical analysis – there is only the manipulative power of the central banks and the governments that are trying to literally kill all demand for precious metals as an alternative to the USD petro/narco-dollar in the world! Technical analysis are like forensic doctors examining a murder victim and being told “it wasn’t foul play – make sure you find for natural causes”. Thus the analysts go into Elliot Waves and “unfilled candlesticks” and “dollar strength”. Meanwhile the murderer (manipulators) go free…

How low can gold, silver, and oil go? How much financial power and military power does the US/UK/Illuminati have left? Enough to make it to 2015? Enough to make it to 2035? How much power is enough? While the common people are like serfs in Dark Ages Europe, praying for rain so that their crops do not squander away.

    Oct 31, 2014 31:45 AM

    Rick,

How certain are you now that we hit that hidden pivot number at 1125 you called yesterday since your 1189.20 did not hold?
