Seems like they will be keeping the price of oil low – and probably lower – to put more and more pressure on Putin and Russia.

BOB..They will be wasting their time…You see Putin is too clever to play the game the way “THEY” want him to play…..”THESE” people have met their match.

If he can’t make enough money from oil to pay his bills at home or his bills for imports I suspect that they will make things difficult for him.

BOB….I’m sure he will make a deal with China which will work for both of them.

Also put s more pressure on and squeezes the margins of Canadian shale oil and fracking operation in the US. That makes it a win-win for Obama: squeeze Russia and please the greenie weenies base of the Democratic Party.

      ….Have carbon….will travel.

Yeh Bob, but don’t you think it hurts others and not just Russia also?

          Nov 26, 2014 26:30 AM

Yes, but the main aim of the West is to hurt Putin at the moment.

Clearly the US wants to put pressure on Russia via oil.
Clearly the Middle East is hurting over revenue, which they depend on to pacify their population.
However, with fracking-dependent production being unprofitable at about the current price level, it is hard to see how production will not drop with lower oil prices……..therefore, I do not see substantial further declines in oil.

Why is no one discussing the potential licensing of the Russian Khibiny jamming system to China?

This could change world warfare dynamics.

For those not knowing about what I am talking:

CFS…If this piece of kit exists then that is a real game changer . But then I expect the NSA well have some dirt on some people in a position to give it to the US.

More likely than not, Mr. Irish!

Not sure how to take that story, Professor!

Mr Temple makes a very good about the ‘bond market’. I’m thinking of petrochemical companies using more costly techniques to extract resources who will see their debt moving into the ‘junk bond market’.
