I guess if CB cannot QE, default is the only choice and it is more honest choice. It is supposed to be the solution for debt in real world.

Germany, Netherlands and France want their gold back. Why? The Euro is about to collapse, and they know it. Thats why Mario Draghi stop the printer.

I suspect the Euro will survive, but a number of countries will drop out of the EU.

I always enjoy Mr Temple’s insights.
BTW Al, Europe can’t be a black swan cause it’s goose is already cooked.
The situation in Europe, especially southern Europe is getting close to critical.

Well Greece is going to default…….mathematically, it must sooner or later.
Everyone than can get up and go has left Spain looking for work……the economy is falling apart.
I have not been to Portugal recently, but I have to believe it too will default.
Italy? It is hard to tell. Much of the economy has been underground for years…….cash is king. Deals off the record are entirely different from the above-ground economy.
Even England got hit with an extra charge from the EU because of its admitted underground economy.
