    Roger,

You bought up a very interesting point that is not being talked about from anyone. I have spoke about it a few times.
It’s the speculation ( derivatives ) in the oil market. Since 08 these companies have been driving the price up with paper and allowed to do so by the government. I believe they have put a stop to all that and that’s why we see the falling prices.

All this started when the paper rating was cut and the economy fell apart. I think the government was getting paid from the speculative bets by the big oil companies. Maybe all countries were when the economy got hit 7 years ago. Cutting the paper rating cut the money supply, which makes them get the revenue from somewhere…

I do know that an oversupply of crude story is utter bull shout.
Only the sheep believe CNBC and Bloombull..
As for me, I just watch to see what they are lying about. Heh heh

The price was in the 30s and 40s only 7 years ago. We made it work then, we can easily make it work now! Minus a few fracking companies..

      Dec 16, 2014 16:28 AM

Not true , companies could not survive at 30s at that time either but it was swift. Alberta oil sands break even cost is 80 dollars with the two best companies syncrude and suncor. All the basic cost went up several times during last decades. I know from cost control people. The traditional oil is declining very fast due to depletion. That is why you see every company is cutting people and projects and stop drilling and exploration. Without these activities, those wells are going to naturally cease production. Time is different. There was no Asian demand before and now it is more than the demand of the west

        Dec 16, 2014 16:39 AM

The cost to extract is much less around the globe as it is in Alberta and the Bakkan / eagle ford areas.
Fracking is much like a subprime mortgage. A bubble

Hey, maybe the price of guargum and other costs associated with fracking will go down, and they make it work. We shall see

    Johnson Matthey…………..bars to become RARE……………

Bank of RUSSIA …………RAISES INTEREST RATES TO 17%

    Dec 15, 2014 15:37 PM

It won’t be fun to watch The Banks try to stem the flow of liquidation in The US when they face what Russia is now trying to grapple with, that being 17% interest rates. They will only be able momentarily to stem it a little bit and try to guide it here or there, the interest rates will be going up, OH MY!
Now does anyone believe The 6 Big US Banks are in charge, not on your life, they are trapped.

      Let us hope so………….

      Dec 15, 2014 15:39 PM

If the Loonie continues to slide I expect Poloz to raise rates. A falling Loonie is going to decimate Canada. What do we have to fall back on? Nothing.

        Dec 15, 2014 15:13 PM

Loonie devaluation should be good for Canada. otherwise oil price will choke off oil export. Then there will be no competitive industry left. I don’t mind to pay a little extra for import.

The Chinese are de-pegging The Yuan from The Dollar and dumping US treasury’s, QE will soon be back on the stove, but the problem still exists: The Fed can’t get us out of the mess they created and it’s a fine mess if you do say so “OLLIE”.

How come you don’t talk about DNA markers? DNA markers appear at every top, and their application allows me to talk from both sides of my mouth and confuse the general public to no extent.
DIJO(Daily incidental justification Oscillator) is a proprietary indicator that I developed that helps me understand the turns in the market. I look at various variables in the market as they setup the denominators opposing numerators with the tops that usually oppose the bottoms. They also include the DNA markers that are also present in charts that I look at. I take a swab and swipe them against the 5 4 3 2 1 stochastic numerators to validate the occurrences of the main events that have occurred in every major top from the other side of the bottom.

    BACK UP………….1220

1224.60…….going back up to 1225………………London must not want any part of the sell off………………………………..

        Dec 16, 2014 16:17 AM

        Crash down again

THE WAR IS ON …….AT 1225

          Dec 16, 2014 16:23 AM

It seems gold rises in London and Asia and fall in US everyday. It is getting very annoying. My guess is that there is no room for price to move down so the price fluctuation is the only trick to shake people out.

    Dec 16, 2014 16:16 AM

Silver is behaving strange. I speculate that cartel is using gold price fluctuation to shake out silver longs
