BLACK SWAN………KING ABDUL DIES…….AT 90YRS OLD…..oil going somewhere but not staying where it is……………………………….

      Jan 22, 2015 22:50 PM

Ha, I don’t think its a black swan when you die at 90 Jerry. That was pretty predictable give or take a year since we knew he was pretty sick. A black swan is when he rises from the dead and retakes the throne.

        Jan 22, 2015 22:02 PM

        Haha this is funny

A week old, but I just got back from the snow…..I hate that stuff!

      Jan 23, 2015 23:34 AM

Thanks CFS. I thought it is confusing to listen to Armstrong but this one has clear message. Even he hasn’t told me anything I don’t already know, at least I can understand him again. Financial repression is the only way to go as government is broke. People like Bill and Bird should do some soul searching to see whether they has fantasized the current social political and economical system. Living in a post prosperity economy could be painful especially if you compare with the generations before. The bright point is that if we can keep some wealth with hard assets, we might be better off.

        Jan 23, 2015 23:55 AM

Armstrong’s defense of the Fed is just priceless. Besides Joe Sixpack, who buys such bs?

I think ANDY HOFFMAN AND JASON HOMMEL……pegged Armstrong to the tee…………

          Jan 23, 2015 23:30 AM

I can not claim government and FED came out of conspiracy. However, along the way, it has been used by the elites to grab wealth from common folks. At this point, I think Martin makes sense but it is not rondom walk. The super rich is gaining from the system and saddle everyone with debts. It is what financial repression all about. It is to sustain the system on the sacrifice of common folks. So whether Martin said the FED was doing something it supposed to do in the first few year or not is not the point. If we cannot keep it from doing harm in the long run, it is better not to create it. It is like to release a monster. I am not buying Armstrong’s arguement but his claim that government does not know what they are doing is close to the fact. Because government is always incompitent the evill elites utilize the system to grain wealth. Government is composed of people. That is why all socialism alway fails. In US and EU, we are increasing government rather quickly.

            Jan 23, 2015 23:35 AM

I feel Martin is sincerely worry about the system which he helped to build. I am sure he does not have any solution either. To replace the current lawyers in control with economists as he suggest may make the problem worse. The idea is wrong at the first place. Get bankers and lawyers out of the control seat and install real industry as the backbone of the economy.

        Jan 23, 2015 23:27 AM

Should’ve said the show is still worth hearing.

        Jan 23, 2015 23:29 AM

Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone had the same negative views together, Lawrence? Keep your soul searching to yourself. I am a realist which means that I know trouble is coming but I also know it is not the end of the world.

Anyway, gold is not the only answer to what ails us.

you need a little silver too…………………:)

            Jan 23, 2015 23:32 AM

I am not a “stacker” anymore Jerry. Been there and done that. I only trade online now. Call me lazy if you like.

          Jan 23, 2015 23:41 AM

I know it is not the end of the world, especially you are in Africa. But problem accumulates and financial repression will hurt people a lot. Listen what Martin was saying, it could be really bad if government can confiscate your asset. Some civil disobedience will help. There are many ways to do it. Election seems losing the effect. I am not sure whether your realist means obey everything from the top. It sounds quite communist. I have been there. It sucks.
