Gold buyouts heat up

March 3, 2015

Although this is an advertisement for Gold Canyon the article is a good overview of what the company has going for it. We will be having Gold Canyon’s Director Dr. Quinton Hennigh on the show later this week. If you have any questions you would like us to ask please leave a note in the comments below.

Thanks Cory, that’s the kind of thing we want to start hearing about. I take it as a good sign for the future.

    Mar 03, 2015 03:44 AM

We are about to see if the dollar finally begins a corrective move down by the way, That is what I am expecting as the Euro has hit a double bottom and should now reverse higher. I know there are many who doubt that idea and believe the Euro will crater as the dollar soars but that makes no sense to me. With the German approval of the Greek economic plan, confidence has been restored and the Euro must therefore embark on a period where it rises again.

      Mar 03, 2015 03:06 AM

Were you not on par with gary’s 1 for 1 euro and dollar?

      That was my understanding.

        Mar 03, 2015 03:31 AM

That is coming. Just not yet Glen.

        Mar 03, 2015 03:43 AM

Actually there is a lot to say on that topic. I intended to post on it but lost my connection for most of a day. Must be Gremlins in the lines or the Fed is blocking me LOL!!!! What I am looking for Glen is merely a corrective reversal in the dollar / euro that is long overdue and has been hard for me to pin down time wise. We won’t have long to wait to see if it is at hand now. Down the road though a hornets nest of instability await and the European Union is threatened on many fronts, not just Greece. You have to understand that what is taking place right now are really just delaying tactics to offset the inevitable defaults that must come. You know that by the long term rate charts that place us right back in time with what happened during the last Depression when a similar set of circumstances aligned. We just don’t know how far off in the future the busts can be pushed though. Parts of Europe are already posting real negative yields. What we do know is that we are getting closer to a conclusion and unfortunately it will probably result in the breakup of the Euro Union and thus bring an end to the Euro itself. But I am not trying to time it. That’s not my area and there are a lot of forces that can still be brought to bear to keep it all together. The prospect does exist though that the Euro could fall not just to parity but to zero. Keep that in mind.

          Mar 03, 2015 03:50 AM

          Thanks for the response.

What is your opinion on loonie? Has it double bottomed for now?

            Mar 03, 2015 03:10 AM

No, I don’t think it double bottomed but I do think its ready to break out. Which way is the question!

    Mar 03, 2015 03:49 AM

OT: Claude Resources had a +25% spike this morning on volume. Coming back down again, of course.

Gold Canyon: After my own DD, I decided to buy a small block of shares in.

      Mar 03, 2015 03:07 AM

good to see one of very few companies doing well today. Trim off the tree would have been wise.

        Mar 03, 2015 03:13 AM

Glen, that little GLD gap I mentioned yesterday is now filled.

          Mar 03, 2015 03:17 AM

          Matt,

The charts are indicating lower prices from here. Hui looks sick imo, gold looks like it wants to puke. You off course trade on the minute chart but from a longer term perspective meaning this week and next week, i personally dont think this has mustard in it.

What are you seeing? In both hui/gold

            Mar 03, 2015 03:18 AM

Not day to day but end of week and next week?

            Mar 03, 2015 03:47 AM

The daily chart is mixed and remains mostly bearish short term, but this countered by a slower moving indicator that is still on what I call a “buy the dip” signal (as opposed to a “sell the rally” signal). All considered, I have to give the edge to the bull case, but just barely.

            Mar 03, 2015 03:51 AM

            Thanks for the response. Matt.

            Mar 03, 2015 03:53 AM

            Matt,

What is this indicator you use to tell you that info of buy dip signal?

            Thanks

            Mar 03, 2015 03:31 AM

            Sorry Glen, it’s a secret. 😐

      Mar 03, 2015 03:11 AM

It popped 40% since Birdman scoffed at my bullish (and obviously CORRECT) opinion about it on 2/26/15. 🙂 🙂 🙂

        Mar 03, 2015 03:46 AM

I scoffed at your call on the HUI? I don’t recall that. Link the post.

Matthew I always have to laugh when you show BM up. For it’s then that he goes quiet for a few posts before popping up with other great insights!! A

            Mar 03, 2015 03:14 AM

Don’t be ridiculous Andrew! I never go silent. And especially if copy-paste boy thinks he got one over on me. He still has not quoted what he is referring to (which is usually suspicious) so this is hardly over yet.

            good one Andy…………….

Don’t you have a Goldfish that needs to fetch a stick or something?

Truth is that for those with NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) they are simply never wrong, can never apologise and unhinge the moment someone gets the better of them. NPD is one of the hardest disorders to cure…begins often in childhood and then progresses onto a problem/guilt the sufferer dare not divulge.

BIRD……….you have been discovered……………Now, you have to be NICE., the family is on to your misbehavior…………………oh, I promise to , not post so much….

            Mar 03, 2015 03:21 AM

Ahhh, the deception is made bare. I did not say anything at all about the HUI nor did I mention Claude Resources. So then why are you telling everyone something that is not true Matthew? You can answer for that on this thread since you attracted the usual supporters who cannot be bothered to check facts.

            Mar 03, 2015 03:28 AM

Bird needs an operation, his optic nerve which runs from his eye to his arse needs to be severed, this will improve his outlook on life.

            Mar 03, 2015 03:29 AM

Andrew, I find it interesting that you rarely ever discuss anything about mining, gold, silver, the economy or resources yet you are so often quick on the draw to make personal attacks on others. This NPD comment of yours is pretty much worn out yet you keep drawing on it like it is bottomless well. Shows your lack of creativity! 🙂

No wonder your books are all published from your pocket.

            Mar 03, 2015 03:45 AM

            Andrew, DT, J,
            The poor guy needs help.

Matthew……I do not think BIRD wants any help.

            Mar 03, 2015 03:01 AM

He lied in his post and you three fools dog piled me no questions asked. Says a great deal about your credibility. I can only ask that you stick to facts and the truth and not do the usual sheep behavior like most gold retards.

Bird……….no one is dog piled you……..YOU have been a naughty boy…….all, will be forgiven, just be a little kinder in you post………..lol……….

your post………I am working on my spelling…………….he,he…..goldfish ….

            Mar 03, 2015 03:37 PM

            “NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) ”

Huh …. now I have to go do some research (pulls the DSM off the book-shelf, drops it, breaks foot)

      Mar 03, 2015 03:35 AM

That is interesting because the results were good in my opinion! market must have been expecting them to drill nothing but Gold??

    Mar 03, 2015 03:56 AM

Dollar goes down, gold go’s up. I hope and pray.

    Mar 03, 2015 03:08 AM

Gold/hui being taken top the woodshed for yet another spanking.
It’s sure not looking pretty. We still have another 5 hours of this geeze.

      Mar 03, 2015 03:17 AM

I think we’ll see the HUI at 184 to fill its gap from 2/25. Do you think the 1/06 gap will get filled?

        Mar 03, 2015 03:03 AM

You think a lot of stuff.

          Mar 03, 2015 03:31 AM

          Correct.

    Mar 03, 2015 03:20 AM

Matt gld 115.26 gap has not been filled as yet. Is that the one your referring to?

    Mar 03, 2015 03:44 AM

Once Pinetree and Sheldon Inwentash started selling this stock in large blocks around four months ago seventy to eighty million shares changed hands in about a two month period. Someone obviously has been snapping up huge blocks enough so that these buys should have been recorded as insider buys but this information hasn’t been posted. Goldcorp is the gorilla up in Red Lake but who was the buyer, I know the company has this information but I don’t think they have the right to disclose it. DT

      Mar 03, 2015 03:48 AM

OK, you got me interested DT. Tell me if you hear more.

      Mar 03, 2015 03:47 AM

When I visited Gold Canyon at PDAC on Sunday, I asked their representative if he had purchased stock recently in the company, what he said was yes and that he already owned a lot of shares. Buying indicates one thing only.

        Mar 03, 2015 03:49 AM

Maybe Cory could ask Dr. Q if he has been buying recently! DT

          Mar 03, 2015 03:23 AM

Thanks DT…keep us posted. Its an interesting story.

Am I missing something ?? Seems like a winner to me. Price
