Very sorry to hear that Big AL.

Everyone needs to be praying for you
and you should be very cautious with
    anything related to your heart.

So take it slow and easy. Sure your
    physician knows best.

I knew this was more serious. No sore
    throat.

You have great support with precious
    associates and friends.

God Bless and get well soon.

    .

      Mar 31, 2015 31:37 AM

      Thank you, Heavy.

      God bless you

      Al

God is good and you will make it through this Al! We love you and have our blessings and support. Take it one day at a time.

      Apr 01, 2015 01:12 AM

I agree HH. You are in our thoughts and prayers Al.

It appears you were so taken by Cory’s wedding that it shocked the system. Cory, that must have been some event! : – )

    Big Al,
My very best wishes for a speedy and total recovery.
Have some garlic each day to keep those artery walls flexible.
We all miss your up-beat positive attitude on the show.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:46 AM

      Thanks, Professor.

      Garlic?

        CFS
        Mar 31, 2015 31:47 AM

Yep. Garlic in the Mediterranean diet is one major counterbalance to all the fat eaten, which should have blocked arteries, but did not.

          Mar 31, 2015 31:54 PM

    Thanks for your thoughts,

    Al

    Mar 31, 2015 31:18 AM

Its really good to have you back Al. Sorry to hear about the stroke. We just thought it was maybe a bad cold at worst you were suffering and laryngitis that kept you away. I suspected worse to tell the truth. Guess I was right. Hang in there man! I am looking forward to hearing a lot more from you soon. And all the best for a quick recovery.

PS: You sound loaded! You sure its not just red wine and Schapps?

      Mar 31, 2015 31:58 PM

      Loaded? Not hardly!

Seriously many thanks for your thoughts, Bird!

        Apr 01, 2015 01:21 AM

Anytime Al. I consider you a friend. Maybe you have been pushing yourself too hard though. Your schedule is pretty impressive between speaking at your club, keeping up with the mine side of the business, running this site and now putting out a newsletter. Must be some time in there for you and your family too. None of us are 21 anymore!

    Mar 31, 2015 31:27 AM

Take your time MAN ! TAKE YOUR TIME ! All the best !

    Mar 31, 2015 31:29 AM

Dennis…Nice to see you are still around….Don’t be a stranger.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:18 PM

      I certainly appreciate that Esq

    Mar 31, 2015 31:06 PM

Wow Al, I’m shocked by the news. Just got notified by Glennfidish. You actually sound very good, I’m betting (and hoping!) it was a minor stroke. I’ll also bet you’re prognosis is a good one.
Take care and get better soon.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:19 PM

Notified by Glenfidish? You mean smoke signals stopped working? How funny is that? You are on this site 24/7 but you need Glen to advise you what is going on. I could not stop laughing. This is the internet Matthew!

Does he clean your shoes too?

        Mar 31, 2015 31:29 PM

Matthew and Birdman ! AL Korelin didn’t mention GOLD ! SO COOL BOYS !

        Mar 31, 2015 31:30 PM

Matthew said on another thread that he was busy this week and wouldn’t be able to keep up.

        Mar 31, 2015 31:32 PM

It’s called email, Birdman. I’ve missed hours here today because I actually trade rather than just pretend to as some do 😉

        Mar 31, 2015 31:34 PM

        Bird,

Out of line get back in…Your where good boy for few days what happend?

        Mar 31, 2015 31:36 PM

Did you loan out your. .shoe shine box…Bird.

Take note Bird. Matthew deserves special perks for
        all he brings in here.

          Mar 31, 2015 31:42 PM

Dis is no nice Birdman ! I hope AL have same GOLD under his pillow to sleep nice TAKE YOUR TIME AL !

        Mar 31, 2015 31:55 PM

        Bird….”STOP”.

          Mar 31, 2015 31:03 PM

Don’t make me laugh! Ha Ha Ha! You guys are too damn funny. Now pay attention please….Matthew is here EVERY single day at almost all hours and he has not missed a show in many years. THAT’S why it’s amusing that he needs Glenfidish to advise him of the news about Al.

Maybe we should get him on a snail mail list or (God forbid)…. a newspaper subscription!

            Mar 31, 2015 31:10 PM

Don’t be so stubborn Birdman ! Matthew is a good MAN and keep stakking !

            Mar 31, 2015 31:22 PM

            WARNING NO.7

            Mar 31, 2015 31:35 PM

Bird your good friend JJ is here. Think you would welcome
him back and greet him. Instead of commenting rudely regarding
            Matthews business.

I will do it for you Bird. Welcome Back JJ…you have been missed by many.

            Mar 31, 2015 31:36 PM

Ok genius and world class dirtball, I made 16 trades today and exchanged 28 emails with Glenfidish. If you check, you’ll see that there is a gap in my comments here.

It’s funny how you DO notice such gaps when it suits your sociopathy. With that delusional 12 year old brain of yours, you accused me recently of “hiding” because you just knew that the market was going against me. Well Glen knows better because he and I were talking the markets constantly during the days in question.

Why should I waste time dealing with your Daffy Duck ass when I can share info with someone who actually operates in the markets in real life as I do.

Notice that this Birdman jackass didn’t let Al’s serious circumstances stop him from stroking his ego in his comment to above where he stated “I suspected worse to tell the truth. Guess I was right.” Then he makes a crack about Al sounding “loaded.” THEN he starts in with me. Typical of a sociopath, he just has to get the spotlight on himself.

            Mar 31, 2015 31:45 PM

            POINT WELL MADE……..

            Mar 31, 2015 31:57 PM

            Stroking his ego….you bet.

Bird is famous for. Oh and fraud, vulgarity
used as a first language, harrassment, insults,
degarding name calling and all malicious foul
            behavior you can think of.

Accusations from the pit of hell too.

            Nice Birdie !!!

            Mar 31, 2015 31:25 PM

I’m surprised that mini-me (bb) hasn’t been here standing up for birdie, he can’t stand it when his boss takes a bashing, but what he doesn’t realize is that his master actually likes it.

            Mar 31, 2015 31:56 PM

            Ha..Ha..bb…buck shot…

            Lands wherever he can ..dig.in…

DT’s classic….bb abandoned his master…don’t forget to turn in your knee pads..bb

Too funny…another tamaguchi in flight into a death spiral. Crash, boom…SPLAT !!! lol

            Mar 31, 2015 31:07 PM

            Birdman

The content of your first post (11:18 am / 31March) was unconscionable:
            o “Guess I was right”
            o “You sound loaded!”
o “You sure its not just red wine and Schapps”

What type of person says this to another human being recovering from a stroke?

I think today’s comment, plus your “Classic” from last week should get you banned from this site.
            ——–
            On March 22, 2015 at 1:01 pm,

            ——

            Apr 01, 2015 01:31 AM

Wow, what a terrible post Matthew. I was just playing around. But you have no dignity or respect whatsoever.

            Apr 01, 2015 01:24 AM

Maybe you are now getting the picture Brian

            Apr 01, 2015 01:57 AM

            Your just playin around ..huh..Bird.

Its okay for you but anyone else
that does it, its under your wing
            of bad behavior.

            Double standard again. At least
post that you are joking so no
            one misreads you.

            Example. ..j/k. = just kidding.

            Is that so difficult Bird.

            For Crying Out Load ….anyway.

            Unbelievable !!!!

      Mar 31, 2015 31:20 PM

I will know more on Friday Mathew. Right now I am kind of bored.

        Apr 01, 2015 01:59 PM

Well we all wish you a speedy recovery Al!

    Mar 31, 2015 31:36 PM

Al: May God continue to bless your life and extend your days, and may He bless the discerning men and women that cared for your medical needs. May your family and close friends be strengthened and blessed as well.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:25 PM

Thank you and God bless you John

    Mar 31, 2015 31:42 PM

Very shocked and sorry to hear this.

Wishing you a very speedy and full recovery, Big Al.

In my mind, Big Al Korelin will always be indestructible.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:27 PM

Hopefully, at least in the mid term! 6thanks, msn!

    Mar 31, 2015 31:51 PM

I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Al. Hope you make a speedy recovery, but also feel free to take it easy and relax! All the best-

      Mar 31, 2015 31:10 PM

HI Al ..I pray you make a full recovery..We need the coachman back behind the reins .
Speaking of reins..if.KATHY is reading this..Keep the buggar on a tight one made sure he rests even if it means handcuffing him to the bed..( on second thoughts don’t the big fella might enjoy it )..haha
BTW . AL , if ever we end up in an Irish pub together I can assure you your voice will sound worse than that…Its the Guinness & Whisky you see it makes grown men sound like gurgling babies…Anyway get well real quick…XXX

        Mar 31, 2015 31:31 PM

Spent St Paddy’ s in a great Irish Pub in Bellingham. MAYBE that caused the stroke.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:28 PM

At least a few days, Ryan. Thank you

    Ron
    Mar 31, 2015 31:34 PM

Praise the Lord that you are back Al. Pray that you will recover fully. I know from experience what it is like to be sparred by the man upstairs. There must be a reason and a purpose. I’m sure it happens to do with the thoughtful and reasonable way you lead the effort on this sight, and have the ability to touch others in your walk with the Almighty!! My best!!

      Mar 31, 2015 31:32 PM

God blesd you Ron and thank you.

      Al

    Mar 31, 2015 31:49 PM

Good to hear you again Al and a quick recovery

    Mar 31, 2015 31:54 PM

    Go Al! Woohoo!

To repeat Al, we all love you! Very best and God’s speed, Andrew

      Mar 31, 2015 31:40 PM

      Another thank you, Reverend.

      Al

    Mar 31, 2015 31:39 PM

Great to have you back Big Al!

      Mar 31, 2015 31:41 PM

      Many thanks Jeff

      Al

    Mar 31, 2015 31:27 PM

I think what Chris meant was that we had a “slurring” Al and not a “slurry” Al although I know some of Al’s opinions seem to be cast in cement.

    Mar 31, 2015 31:44 PM

    Al,

Like all here, your recent stumble is just about the last news anyone would want to hear, and yet you are on the air again today. The folks at Peach Arch are top notch, as you say – glad they were there for you. God gave Hezekiah another 15 years – I pray He’ll do the same with you!

On the plus side, now you have an excuse to take a break whenever you want and no one will question it. Just keep your eyes off the nurses.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:20 PM

John…..this is like old home week……glad you are still around.

        Mar 31, 2015 31:28 PM

Indeed Jerry, and a fine week it is. This is Al’s thread so I won’t ramble, but essentially working the two busiest years of my career. Active investing has dropped, but that is changing slowly.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:46 PM

Seriously great to hear from you John. Kathy says hello.

      Al

      Apr 01, 2015 01:01 PM

Agreed John. I haven’t seen you post in a while but your thoughts are always valued. Good to see your still out there keeping Al in line : – )

        Apr 01, 2015 01:17 PM

        Shad,

Wow, thanks for the kind words. I do enjoy the website quite often – and your thoughtful comments too Shad.

          Apr 01, 2015 01:09 PM

Hope all is well John, it was a bummer when you you disappeared. Seems like a looong time. You always had good comments.

            Apr 01, 2015 01:23 PM

FWIW, Matthew, I think I can say that I find your comments the most singularly useful comments on this (or any other investment) website. Time management just hasn’t allowed me to get too involved (it’s very addictive here and I’m weak…).

            Apr 01, 2015 01:26 PM

John, I’m humbled by your vote of confidence. Thank you.

    Mar 31, 2015 31:48 PM

Prayers to you Big Al for G_d’s speed and recovery.

    Mar 31, 2015 31:00 PM

    Al,

Sorry to hear about your stroke. It sounds like you are recovering very well, but you need to checkout this website if atherosclerosis is part of your problem. Two time Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling correctly claimed that atherosclerosis is a pre-scurvy condition caused by a severe deficiency of vitamin C and bioflavonoids. I recommend taking about 10 grams of vitamin C with bioflavonoids a day to slowly clean up all your arteries. Vitamin K2 in the MK-7 form is also very helpful, but you can’t take it while they have you on a blood thinner as it’s counter indicated with blood thinners as it will counter their effect.

    Mar 31, 2015 31:02 PM

Hey Al — What the Vigilante says here is true…my 88-y.o. friend with all the energy (and also with a pacemaker) I mentioned earlier is a faithful “customer” of Pauling’s, and turned me on to him.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:40 PM

AL MAST STAY COOL LONG Time ! Maybe ERIC SPROTT CAN COM EAT MEAT !

        Apr 01, 2015 01:02 PM

Yes – Cool is the way!

      Mar 31, 2015 31:49 PM

      Hey Chris,

None of us are getting any younger.

What preventive measures do you recommend?

I take 4000 iu vitamin e and 500mg vitamin D and also vitamin B12. I also eat a lot of flax seed meal (buy the seeds and grind them up). I also add tumeric to at least one meal a day. I get about 25 minutes of cardio a day (bike ride and push ups)

      What do you do?

        Mar 31, 2015 31:54 PM

Ebolan thank’s YOUR Patrick wood info ! enjoy ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7hYbFnfIrE

          Mar 31, 2015 31:05 PM

Com one AL ! YOUR NO BOB CHAPMAN ! COM BACE !

        Mar 31, 2015 31:50 PM

It’s a combination of things, Ebolan: Good diet and good/healthy food. I’ve cut much of the starches/carbs/sweets out of my diet. I buy organic most of the time as well.

Eating habits are also a biggie; a great friend some years back got me to understand portion control. I used to overeat a lot; now I very seldom do.

I stay active, too; at the least, walking, yoga and other low-impact exercising just about every day.

I take a variety of supplements, too; less vitamins, and more herbal for overall healthy physiology. And as I said earlier, just starting the Pauling “tonic”

          Mar 31, 2015 31:16 PM

Chris, great job and I believe Big AL is pushin way to hard
as well for his age. Actually, I was not surprised by this
          health crisis.

If he’s going to take care of himself he must learn to compromise
in his busy entrepreneurial business activites and visiting
          with too many people possibly.

There is not a lot of time and probably will need to consider
making the adjustments accordingly. More time away from
the business and converting that time into caring for himself.
Rest and sleep is very important for healing rejuvenating of
our body cells in addition to healthy eating and exercise.

Anyway, hope he can regain everything and more to a full
recovery. Just a suggestion from me above as my lifestyle
is the same as my recommendation.

          Health is wealth. : )

      Mar 31, 2015 31:49 PM

No blood thinners yet, Vigilante. I have a new pacemaker.

      Al

      Mar 31, 2015 31:50 PM

      Let’s talk tomorrow About that.

Maybe Bill when you grow some more hair on your
chest from just old age you can join this cyber old
      folkies home.

We got some youngsters in here too though just
waitin to get in on the folkie fun.

Don’t worry about Bird he’s definitely retired in here.

Been here too long now to start a new. The more he
threatens to leave means he will be here that much
      longer.

Nothing ever changes around here Bill. Old folks are
      set in their ways.

Bill, the comment about Al being loaded was humour. Al could use a laugh and as you know he does love his wine. Anyway I am more than aware of the symptoms of a stroke as my own father suffered many. Al got it for gosh sakes! Some of you guys really need to lighten up and try to enjoy life a little more.

        Apr 01, 2015 01:50 AM

If your so sincere Bird, how come you don’t apologize to
Matthew and everyone else you have violated by malicious
        conduct.

Bill thinks of you as you really are sometimes with insults
as the norm with you Bird.

How do we know Bird ???? Bill doesn’t know. And others
        don’t either.

Thanks HEAVEY but I’ll work another 10 yrs to 60. The cell building industry is always dynamic and never boaring.

      Mar 31, 2015 31:26 PM

Bill, don’t let the thought enter your mind.

Stay where you are and don’t get taken in
by any pipe dreams here. For the good of
yourself and the welfare of your family.

      Sincerely yours…for real.

    Al

You sound great. I just hope I don’t have to wait to be your age to be as cool, smart and rich as you. Yes you keep the cool around here all the time.

Rich! that right I didn’t snoop into your assets, you said it. You said you had all that family around you. Nothing is more valuable than that.

You are so right about health. Check this dude out. He is my new inspiration. check out his utube videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUf72dLf22c&feature=youtu.be

Look forward to hearing you back on here everyday. You got so much life to live and things to teach us.

Al, it is great to hear you back on the show. I want to send you best wishes from the United Kingdom!
I am sorry to hear you had a stroke and some heart problems. I have had a heart condition since age 20 and I know it is not nice. My Dad had a stroke at age 52 and he lived to be 94, so I hope you get another 42 years as well!
Al, we all love you and by the way, you are coming across loud and clear.
    Take it easy!
Your fan club will be here for you when you are back online.

I’ll add you to my prayer list, Big Al.
