New York Fed’s Dudley Admits to fear of market reactions to rate action

In some of the most candid comments yet out of any Fed official, William Dudley, the head of the main FRB New York branch, concedes that the central bank is worried over a new “taper tantrum.” It’s becoming ever more widely understood that the Fed’s inflating of all these bubbles has put the central bank in a no-win situation.

Did you even watch the segment? Listen to what their Simon Hobbes had to say about the Fed? I as well often chide CNBC for being market shills…but this particular segment laid things quite bare.

    There is something WRONG.

I have repeatedly tried to post informational URLs.

I do not get “waiting moderation” replies or anything……they just disappear into the ether.

First thing to do is to clear your cache and clear your cookies. Then try again I guess.

Yes, a couple of weeks ago, but the Mcalvany commentary is much longer and discusses the problems of Government indebtedness. She’s pushing her book, but there is good information in her commentary.

    OFF TOPIC:

    California is having a drought.
governor Moonbeam is enforcing water restrictions. (Quite how until faucets start only dripping, I don’t think anyone really knows)
The politicians are saying they cannot do anything. (The lunatic environmentalists are in control and would rather kill people and the agricultural economy than a few fish)
At a time when oil and especially gas prices are very low, there is another way, folks. It just needs a bit of planning and lead time.
Did you know that water cost in Israel is actually less than in California?
Israel does not get much rainfall. They get water out of the Jordan river, although the rainfall is north outside of Israel, mostly. The rest of their water comes from desalination. Just south of Tel Aviv is there most efficient desalination plant, although rather interestingly as you sail along the coast in the mediterranean or the Red Sea, even if you did not have GPS, you could spot the Border of Israel by desalination plants on the coastline.
Politicians and anyone interested in the efficiency of desalination today should look up data on Israel’s Sorek desalination plant.

will get you there if I typed it all correctly.
