Chris is 100% spot on on the whole issue. 1-0-0-% s-p-o-t o-n.

In the EU, a few voices are raised against those treaties (the Transatlantic one as far as the EU is concerned)… but it seems to me most bureaucrats in Brussels don’t seem to care too much (ie for lots of them, it’s a fine piece of paper).

Bureaucrats of Brussels being extremely talented at being bureaucrats, I wouldn’t say they are ignorant on the matter but rather that they are complicit of this thing.

Best to all and GL investing/trading.

I’m heartened to see the protests throughout Europe particularly in response to this; generally speaking, the people there are better informed.

Lawrence Summers is only sad that the elite in the U.S. may have less control over the rest of the financial world. Once all are playing on a level field, only then will we see honesty and transparency in the banking system

I think Chris is right, but that’s how our system works, the corporations have lobbys, they pay for elections the politician does what he’s told.
Elected officials (in general) do not represent the people anymore, they represent corporations.

My guess is it will pass, people don’t understand it and there wont be enough of the very few that do understand to do anything, even if they cared.
Been said often, we get the government we deserve.

    Another good interview.

And the middle class has already been gutted. Do you know half of all workers in this country make less than 30k and nearly seventy-five percent make less than 50k?
