I think nothing has changed much, I see no reason not to continue with a 5-10% monthly accumulation of gold with investable income.

You don’t see things the way I do jj, Im not a trader, Im lousy at it.
I count my gold in onces, not dollars. I am a little hypocritical there as I adjusted a few months back to buying every 2 months instead of every month to save on premiums.
Being a little Kodiak recently that has worked out for me.
My goal is 5-10% of INVESTABLE income, a $100 swing in price is just about meaningless to me, (I am not buying tons per month) there are drops and spikes, sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn’t, oh well.
But what I have noticed, when house prices crashed here in Calgary, gold peaked, gold comes down and house prices increased.
At 10% gold, my meager wealth seems to remain fairly consistant.
Heck, jj, I still have 90-95% to “play” with.
But you are right, I would prefer to have accumulated all the gold I would ever “need” at lower levels.
Its all I’m suggesting bb, I’m not calling you a moron or checking your spelling or your grammar, OMG, I’m suggesting that even the most basic chart indicator will have your $ cost averaging even better, would you buy a golf shirt today when a chart indicator tells you no way, you’d buy when it told you to do so saving you money

The mood?, upbeat of course, these oil guys have had practice with optimism.
I understand what your saying jj and with how you see it I agree, but I buy physical on a regular basis. I have no intention of selling, ever, with luck it goes to my kids.
But I have it and ya never know.
Now, the way you see things is exactly how I see shares.
But physical I just accumulate, probably fewer of us around these days, excluding central banks. lol

So why did gold turn at $1162 and pop hard today before fading, come on its so obvious, its what ALL you guys have been ignoring for years, years!

hahahah gotta love always bullish sentiment for bulls. Never bearish. That’s why bulls lose money. This is corrective rally from daily cycle low and new lows are coming.

Stewie – I completely agree that this is corrective rally and do think the new lows are coming in the next 2-3 months. We’ll probably go down to 1150 next, then get a bounce capped at around 1180, then go down and test the Nov. lows of 1131. If that level fails (which is likely) then the $1044.70 target comes into play.
It may be a good time to enter a small shorting position.
I was thinking the same around 1200 level
So why no mention as to the reason gold turned at $1162 and popped hard today and is fading?
Anyone paying attention?
