Its always a good time to accumulate gold Al, physical anyway.
    5% of investable income.

      Sep 22, 2015 22:26 AM

I have to say though, that comment by Al at the end of the show rang hollow for me. Gold is still inside its falling trend channel and after a day like today I don’t think anybody feels like hearing any rah, rah, rah about precious metals.

        Sep 22, 2015 22:52 PM

I hate to disagree (Not True!), within the context of what I say I really do mean it. No rah, rah!

      Sep 22, 2015 22:53 PM

      Thank you!

        Sep 22, 2015 22:43 PM

$50K? Who you been listening to?

          Sep 22, 2015 22:50 PM

James Sinclair says 50K when the dollar collapses.

VW’s predicament coinciding nicely with Pope Francis (Xavier’s) green world agenda in the U.S. I’ve driven Golf TDIs for years and am still alive. Next thing we’ll learn is that it isn’t just VW/Audi but the whole diesel-car market that’s been poisoning the world. Given the timing methinks this is another false flag. OK I’m paranoid as well!

Last year when the markets went down 9% I lost ZERO in my TSP. In this last correction I lost 1/2%. I am tempted to go all G. I am convinced we have a 20%er coming. I am currently only 4% in the markets in my retirement. Only takes me a mouse click and 12 hours lag time to adjust my retirement. 🙂 Try that in your 401K scam.

So-called special relationship (but which let’s be honest never really existed) between UK and US looks like it’s going poof, or rather going east. Our stock exchange seeks to hook up with that of Shanghai, along with Chancellor Osborne backing the Chinese yuan to join the IMF..

Being honest, I have always liked folks from the UK. Particularly their senses of humor!

The primary rein why gold may outperform commodities, meaning not being subject to declines while commodities sell off during routs, is the decline in interest rates. The irony for commodities players would be a decline in the dollar along with commodities prices.

But commodities are sideways with volatility here while gold prices remain constructive. The fundamentals require interest rates moving below inflation, where we’ve been seeing defeat snatched from the jaws of victory tantalizingly, over and over.

But the technicals in the following chart are indisputably calling for just that scenario, where the $TNX:$!PRII should drop to the 34-week EMA, accompanied with s gold price rally, since it’s so strongly inversely correlated:

Some dates to put on your calendar for those who think these things matter (they do).

Pope Francis has arrived in Washington and will be here for 5 days giving speeches. The most important is the welcoming greetings today, speech to the Senate and Congress tomorrow and to New York on Friday before the UN General Assembly.

Meanwhile… Chinese president Xi Jing Ping of China will be meeting with President Barack Obama on Sept. 25 and then will be addressing the U.N. General Assembly on September 28th.

So its a very busy calendar to coincide with a falling stock market. But how to interpret the runes is another question altogether.

      Sep 23, 2015 23:31 AM

For the curious….President Xi’s speech to the UN will coincide with the last of four so-called Blood Moons in the series. Now we finally get to see if all the crazy internet prognostications of doom and gloom will materialize as that date comes and goes.

Gee…..I wonder what he will say?

        Sep 23, 2015 23:39 AM

And then two days later, on October 1st 2015, the key date of Armstrong’s 2015.75 arrives. Just remember, that is a starting point for the collapse of government (according to him) so maybe no fireworks that Thursday.

I think it was yesterday, zerohedge or silverdoc ran a story that 49% of americans didnt trust their government.
Oliver Stone has a 10 part documentary coming out showing the threat to the world is the U.S., I guess it exposes alot of what they have done and are doing including isis I think.

The best one imo is Marshal Swing saying we have 2 days to buy physical left, not really sure about that one he has been saying that for years some posters in the comment section were saying.

I dont know if I believe 49% of Americans dont trust their government, that would indicate 49% of people are informed on a few things, that hasnt been my personal experience.

      Sep 23, 2015 23:41 AM

Nor mine bb! Funny (referring to your last sentence).

So what exactly is the connection between the near simultaneous visits of the Pope and the President of China? Curious minds would like to know why both are making major addresses in the US this week.

Well one thing that can be pointed out is that the Pope leads a Catholic population that now numbers as many people as live in China. He is unquestionably one of the worlds most important figures with a worldwide congregation of almost 1.2 billion.

What he says carries weight among the devout in his flock.

China’s Xi meanwhile leads a nation of 1.3 billion, many of whom are still among the poorest people on the planet. Pope Francis address will probably have something in common with Xi’s as both have an interest in greater global equity whether that be between nations or within ethnic groups.

As China seeks a larger share of influence with its peers; so the Pope has strong beliefs about the social inequity brought on by financial engineering and the distribution of wealth. He sees it as wrong that a very few have accumulated so much while billions of others don’t have a couple cents to scrape together.

But none of this answers why two of the worlds more influential leaders are here during the same few days or what may come of it. Theories are welcome of course…..this cannot be coincidence.

From a recent Al Jazeera article:
“The economist Jeffrey Sachs has argued that Francis’ message is “fundamentally subversive of prevailing attitudes in the corridors of American power, whether on Wall Street or in Washington.” He is the director of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network and of the Earth Institute at Columbia University. While Francis is in the U.S., he is expected to attend the U.N. summit on Sustainable Development Goals, which will address eliminating poverty and promoting environmental sustainability.

When the pope addresses Congress, said Gehring, “Plenty of politicians on both sides of the aisle will be squirming in their seats.”

The comment section below the linked video produced this great remark:

“The 99% don’t understand the concept of principles, let alone have them. They have feelings.”

And THAT is why you can be sure that nothing will ever change.

I dont know about Marxist, havnt read the guys work.
But I do believe the pope has a socialist agenda, China may see some advantage to that.
But Xi I think is obvious, he just wants peace and to do business, imo
The issue is how to achieve that and avert conflict with the neocons, its possible he is information gathering.

I like Francis as far as popes go, seems to be the most “in tune” with the plight of people I have seen. I expect he will make legislators squirm.
