Welcome!

Dr. Carson’s official stance on America – Opinions?

Big Al
September 30, 2015

Dear Reader,

Let me say it bluntly: America was built on Judeo-Christian values.

We’ve become a great nation, the greatest on the planet and perhaps the greatest in history — because of these values.

The P.C. police that dominate the media are at war with our values.

Recently, I have come under intense criticism for defending those values.

I won’t back down because I have no interest in being like everybody else.

I will not give away our values and principles for the sake of political correctness.

As president, I will fight for the values that made America great.

I am fighting for those of us who believe in the American Dream and the American Way.

Anybody is welcome to come to America, but they should come to live as Americans. They are not allowed to change our way of life, our freedoms, or our sacred Constitution.

I would support any person as president who believed in the Constitution and defended it.

I would never support a candidate who supported Sharia law, or any Muslim who failed to denounce Sharia law.

Sharia law is antithetical to our Constitution and our freedoms.

The P.C. crowd doesn’t like to hear this.

Frankly they don’t like me or my campaign.

But, this campaign is about more than me. It is about the direction this nation is heading.

We need to take a stand and fight.

You can join me in this fight. I need your help.

Please show your support for me by donating to my campaign. We’ve already received over 500,000 grassroots donations and our movement is growing by the day.

They know I am not backed by Wall Street or the Washington insiders. They know I stand for their values.

Make your voice heard today — Donate Here Now.

I truly believe that together, we may become that “shining city on a hill.”

May God bless you.

Sincerely,

Ben Carson

P.S. I believe that every president must stand by the solemn oath to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution. It is amazing that my demand for this requirement has become a “controversy.” There are dangerous forces at work in this nation. We need to expose them with reason and light. The younger generation especially needs to hear my message.

I need your help to continue my work — please help me today — Go Here Now.

Thank you for the inspiring and very much needed message.

I like the guy a lot Jay Linn

    Sep 30, 2015 30:27 AM

Not often do politicians voice exactly what I believe. He’s got my vote.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:39 PM

      Mine too, Paul!

    Sep 30, 2015 30:31 AM

I believe Ben Carson is the most eligible candidate for the reason that most say he is ineligible: He’s not a politician and he has integrity.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:40 PM

      Amen Wiseguy

        Oct 01, 2015 01:43 AM

He is refreshing and not trying to say what is expedient, just to get the nomination. May God bless Ben Carson, and may God bless America with an outstanding candidate for president of the United States.

And Al, thank you for providing an opportunity to post one’s views in a respectful manner.

    Sep 30, 2015 30:37 AM

Strikes me as sounding more like ‘free at last’ than ‘yes we can’.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:44 PM

Interesting, Reverend, I view the comments as “yes we can.”!

    Sep 30, 2015 30:23 PM

Why doesn’t he explicitly define the term “values” he mentions repeatedly? I’m guessing it’s a political codeword.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:13 PM

I agree, Brian. I think Carson is likable and fairly smart, but he’s still a neocon.

Not sure if I would agree, Matthew.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:43 PM

I think, my opinion, that by “values” he means old fashion values defined by high morals.

        bb
        Sep 30, 2015 30:28 PM

This argument goes on and on Al, about “high moral values”
ok, old fashion, where and at what time did the U.S. ever have “high moral values”?

Some people could have, and still do Im sure, but the nation?
Yes, the U.S. dishes out lots of aid, especially when that nation does as its told, but what ever time you come up with, I can give examples of far from “high moral values”.
A nation is judged not on its highest achievments alone, but also its lowest and depraved acts.

My argument of “old days” “high moral values”, is they never existed, these values were a dream at best, an illusion for white males to rally round.

When this is acknowledged, accepted and dealt with honustly, the nation will start to grow towards these “high moral values” but not until.

          Sep 30, 2015 30:56 PM

Well the U.S. did save a lot of folks during the Second World War!

          Sep 30, 2015 30:59 PM

          Fair enough, bb

    bb
    Sep 30, 2015 30:50 PM

Personally I had to put an effort into reading it, as normally I would skip stuff like that the moment it is clear its bs, “greatest nation on the planet and in history no less”
Buddy, wars not make one great, if murdering 500k children (and as we are told, it was “worth it”)is the best our species can do, please, let the nukes fly before we infect all of space.

The U.S. was built on Judeo/christian values? Well, from what Ive read from the founders people with those “values” had to “hi jack” the place.

And if Judeo /christian values is how the place has been conducting itself, it might be time to look for other values.

Your going to defend the constitution are you? What constitution would that be?
You ever hear of the patriot act? ndaa? civil forfiture?
Buddy, what planet are you on?

Maybe thats why you figure the U.S. is the greatest nation on earth and in history?
Best figure out which planet firs.

This guy is completely full of bs. or entirely ignorant/uneducated.

In other words, hes perfect, lets elect him.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:46 PM

      thanks for the opinion, BB!

        Sep 30, 2015 30:12 PM

So you are saying the guy is an idiot, bb? 🙂

          bb
          Oct 01, 2015 01:25 AM

No, Im saying he is ignorant or full of bs.
I guess he could be using the “ra ra we are the best” “hoooray judeo/christian values” to get votes.
I disagree with him, but Im not sure he could be called an idiot.
He attacks sharia law for example (moslems), but the U.S. is supposed to provide freedom of religion, the guy has an agenda and he is not being honust or ….he is just plain ignorant.
On the other hand, would a person be an idiot to try to represent a nation without knowing what it actually is…maybe you dont need to?

    Sep 30, 2015 30:58 PM

BEN U HAD TO MENTION ISLAM BADLY DIDN’T U?
    IT SELLS DOESN’T IT?
IF U WERE PROMOTING YOURSELF 50 YEARS AGO WHAT WOULD BE THE BOZZ WORD TO USE?…….. COMMUNISM ….THATS RIGHT….
WHAT THE HELL DO U KNOW ABOUT SHARIA LAW….
YOUR CONSTITUTION SAID “WE THE PEOPLE who”….
YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVS “YOU THE PEOPLE”

      Sep 30, 2015 30:58 PM

Not a lot. The only Muslems that scare me are the “radical (Isis)” ones.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:59 PM

      I would agree!

WHO TERRORISED MANKIND MILITARLY MORE THAN USA?
WHO TERRORISED MANKIND POLITICLY MORE THAN USA?
WHO TERRORISED MANKIND ECONOMICLY MORE THAN USA?
    OR SOCIALLY,OR CULTURALLY ,ENVIRONMENTALLY
ARE THESE THE JUDOE CHRISTIAN VALUES U ARE TALKING ABOUT?
SORRY BUT U MAKE ME SICK……

      Sep 30, 2015 30:46 PM

If by militarily terrorized, you mean the USA has stabilized the global waters and airways so that free trade can exist unhindered.
If by politically terrorized, you mean that many countries can now more freely choose their leaders, even if they choose terrorists or communist leaders (if not free, more free than they would be otherwise).
If by economically terrorized, you mean holding a stable currency that the whole world can depend on for global trade.
If by socially/culturally terrorized, you mean that many young and/or oppressed people give all they can to simply be a refugee here because of the opportunity it would bring.

America is not perfect. No country is. Should any other country be the superpower that America is, what country be do better?

Your caps lock ignorance displays you have no idea about Judeo Christian values but for a starter, “The Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfullness, and self-control.” If we all perfected these, there would be a lot less trouble.

        Sep 30, 2015 30:47 PM

          Sep 30, 2015 30:18 PM

          They are points Irwin.

Militarily terorised means the U.S. might invade,(30 million dead since ww 2) global water are no more free now than they were with Britain the dominant nation. Other than technological advances of course.

Nations can now more freely choose their leaders? Like Lybia? Iraq? Iran? Panama? Ecudor? Syria? Ukraine? List goes on and on Irwin
Nations can only choose leaders the U.S. approves of, no freedom there.

If they choose terrorists? excuse me, its the states that are terrorising.. check with Ron Paul,Paul Craig Roberts or maybe watch the new Oliver Stone work.
There are others of course but they pretty much have it covered.

          Economically terrorised? stable currency?
You notice what that stable currency is doing around the globe?
Whats the reason so many nations are dropping it, if its so wonderfull?

Each and every global reserve currency was far more stable than the U.S. dollar.
Bar none, I let the gold advocates argue that one.

People do give all they can to get here, and some do all they can to leave here.
Media does not cover those people moving to other nations from anywhere.
But most of the worlds 7 billion, dont go to the states, most people like wher they are from, wherever that may be.

The time for the U.S. being dominant is over, the empire dies, with that comes corruption, poverty, chaos etc

The power grows in the east, the empire rises, they work to eliminate corruption etc, standard evelution, at one time corruption was frowned upon in the U.S., today its a way of life.
Dont believe me? Go thru the justice system.

Your argument doesnt really hold Wiseguy.

American Dream, ya gotta be asleep to believe it. George Carlin

            Sep 30, 2015 30:45 PM

Ben Carson and my own father are proof of the American Dream. I feel every year that the American Dream opportunity available to them no longer exists anymore and possibly never will again.

The US might invade are two sides of the same coin. The US has taken upon itself the role of global policeman, which of course is impossible, but it has done much more good in that role than the UN has ever done. It’s not always perfect like I said before, but I feel like it is more good than bad.

US didn’t invade Syria and it has become worse. I was mostly referring to the countries under the threat of communism historically. I don’t agree with the way the current administration has handled foreign policy, and Iraq was because Bush eliminated the guy that tried to kill his dad (wouldn’t you have done the same?). Not saying that was right, but anyway.

Are you saying that the USA is on par with ISIS? Hamas? The Gestapo? The KGB? Those are terrorists. The US uses fear as a tactic just as any authority does (including your parents when you were growing up), but much less than actual terrorists.

The US currency was elected to be a stable currency. Countries can drop it if they want to. I have no problem with that. Many countries are in trouble due to the strength of the US Dollar because their own economies are weaker. The Fed has tried to weaken it a lot, but it can’t weaken it forever. (I’m not a huge fan of the Fed either).

I have traveled to those places in the world, and I consider living there again. But I would go there because I don’t have to worry about my financial future like the people there do, and I can live there more cheaply due to the stronger dollar. Even Vietnam and Chinese youth want to dress and speak like Americans for the opportunities it implies. Most of the 7 billion in the world live on less than $2 a day and stand no chance. They would love the opportunities America provides. Even the America of today offers more opportunities than most of the BRIC countries, and the developed Euro countries are in deflationary implosion.

The U.S. is indeed dying, but I hope that maybe someone like Carson can turn that around with instilling integrity back into our national culture. It’s a long shot, I know, but I think it is still possible. The corruption is part of the system now, so let’s change the system. Make term limits one term.

            Sep 30, 2015 30:52 PM

Some do achieve the dream Wiseguy, thats true.
and there is more opportunity in North america than alot of places, true again.

The U.S. has invaded Syria, they use what they call “moderates” they also drop bombs there, without Syrian consent.

U.S. on par with isis? Well, isis has a long way to go to catch up to American killing, but lets not forget that it was the Americans that created isis, trained, armed and financed. So, on par? isis has been a tool of the Americans,Saudis,Qatar and Israel, its Putin that is going to put an end to them.

Communism, that is a government voted for within a democracy, most people equate communism to Stalin, that was a dictatorship. Communist parties have actually contributed to democratic countries. At least in Canada.
The American government would have people believe communism is something it is not and evil to boot. Which it is not. In other words, the American government is lieing….as usual. lol

I dont know much of Hamas, other than it opposes Israel killing Palistinians, as for Gestopo or kgb, maybe ask the people held in one of the American torture camps, Guantonimo etc. Maybe the families of the over 1000 people the police kill every year.
Last vid I saw was a guy in a wheelchair with his back to the police.
Do we need mention the servalance?
American police service is EXACTLY like the KGB and Gestapo Wiseguy.
Remember, we can find lots of cases of German investigation of crimes during the 30s/40s and KGB investigation of crimes too.

I do agree with you that it would be good to see integrity in government, that was Ron Paul, there are some people left, thats true, but they are outnumbered so much, the entire structure has to come down and be rebuilt.

I think we will get out chance, they say people are getting upset with their government, I dont know if thats true, not many people are informed as to what they actually do.

        Sep 30, 2015 30:43 PM

        Many thanks Wiseguy!

          Sep 30, 2015 30:48 PM

Pretty interesting comments bb and Wiseguy.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:56 PM

If you look at the behavior of our leaders over the last 6 or so years, you may have a point.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:02 PM

Everyone is certainly entitled to his/her opinion.

Okay, if I make you sick, I would suggest that you suggest that you stop visiting our site. By the way, one of our good friends is an Iranian Muslim. Over the past 10 -15 years I have learned more about the Middle East from him than from most others.

    Sep 30, 2015 30:18 PM

Dr. Carson was raised by a single mother in difficult economic circumstances. He was able to break the economic and social bonds that hold so many in his situation back through a single minded dedication to excellence and self-reliance fostered by a strong work ethic. His scholastic effort earned him scholarships to college and medical school. As a surgeon, he performed the first separation of Siamese twins joined at the head. I believe he exemplifies and sincerely understands the true promise of America – equal opportunity. I also believe he completely “gets it” when he says he is running for office to preserve the promise of America for the generations that will follow.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:45 PM

I would agree with you. I would have to say “vice president” however. I do truly admire the man.

    bb
    Sep 30, 2015 30:31 PM

Thats actually pretty neat PC. Outstanding achievements indeed.

Thing is, to achieve that kinda stuff, a person needs singular focus.
A guy like that could easily miss the patriot act being implemented for example.
Or the reasons and results of invading nations.

I would far more respect a person that was honust
“i believe in the constitution and liberty” “we have to get back to positive ways”……. ahhh, forget it, that was Ron Paul
they dont count votes for guys like him.

Entirely academic anyway, the next president has already been decided.

Just for laughs, NDP in Canada has taken a hit in popularity, recent polls show, they say it has to do with a “scarf” some women wear around their heads and face, forget what they call them. Anyway, thats the reason, nothing to do with wanting to remove troops from the middle east.

Yep, save the oily sands for the kids; it might come in handy 25 years from now. I’m thinking, build green houses all across Canada and heat them with natgas and oil that we can’t give away. No need to import veggies from California – they’re out of water anyway.

“The arrival of intense cold similar to the one that raged during the “Little Ice Age”, which froze the world during the 17th century and in the beginning of the 18th century, is expected in the years 2030—2040. These conclusions were presented by Professor V. Zharkova (Northumbria University) during the National Astronomy Meeting in Llandudno in Wales by the international group of scientists, which also includes Dr Helen Popova of the Skobeltsyn Institute of Nuclear Physics and of the Faculty of Physics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Professor Simon Shepherd of Bradford University and Dr Sergei Zharkov of Hull University.”

            And both are pretty good.

We are building green houses to grow pot, I see no reason we cant build to grow tomatoes etc.

            Sep 30, 2015 30:47 PM

Irwin, I also think the coming Ice Age is the more likely possibility to threaten our future.

            Sep 30, 2015 30:02 PM

Maybe “we” freeze first, then burn up.

BULHUS, it is easier to win a dispute with you by letting you talk and let people see your ignorance. If you want to be taken seriously, here are some basics:
    1. Please stop using all caps. It is difficult to read and makes you seem like a raving lunatic.
    2. Please spell correctly. It is hard to read.
    3. Personal attacks are juvenile and against the rules of this site.
    4. Saying things are beyond your understanding, making you sick, and demanding an answer doesn’t make your point stronger. We (USA and Canada) did not cause all the things wrong with the world. Instead of blaming, let’s try to suggest how to improve things or at least have some reasonable discussion.

        Sep 30, 2015 30:03 PM

Great points! (I really hate all-caps).

    Sep 30, 2015 30:05 PM

    Wow! Pretty cool discussion.

Carson in my opinion has no chance to win. Seems like a decent guy, but very clueless to what’s actually going on. As are so many Americans.

bb, you made some very good points.

ANYONE running for office spouting a democracy and Not advocating a REPUBLIC is lost ,ignorant and/or an oligarch puppet! NEVER getting my vote!

    Sep 30, 2015 30:22 PM

Spouting a democracy is just talking to the masses too stupid to know it’s a ” kinder gentile way of being controlled by an oligarchy “.

A Republic is the only way to go!

    Sep 30, 2015 30:00 PM

Freedom of religion is part of the Constitution expressed in the Bill of Rights. Freedom of Religion also means freedom from religion. When I hear any person touting any particular viewpoint and disparaging the religion of others, I know I am dealing with a bigot.

No one is trying to install Sharia law in the US. That’s total BS and he’s catering to the religious fringe who love to hate Muslims.

I wouldn’t vote a single candidate for President as my local dogcatcher. If this mob of clowns is the best we can offer, it’s all over for the US.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:05 PM

Kind of my feelings too Bob. These guys are all reaching for hot button issues to differentiate themselves from one another but in the process they all start to sound like buffoons.

      Sep 30, 2015 30:51 PM

      Bob is 100% correct.

      Oct 02, 2015 02:23 AM

Carson understands that Sharia “law” is not compatible with anything but an expansionist Muslim theocracy. The problem is that it has already proven disastrous to insist that the world’s everyday moderate Muslims are somehow not fulfilling their religious duties unless they go full jihadi.

      Oct 02, 2015 02:52 AM

      Great points Bob M.

    Sep 30, 2015 30:15 PM

The guy might me a nice guy but he is totally asleep at who controls the USA. The NWO is running the show. When I hear people tell me about their “Christian” values I know the are a fool or they want to scam me. Either way I’m gone.

And he can’t get elected. We are doomed to Hitlery…unless we get Trump.

    Sep 30, 2015 30:44 PM

Let’s not make the mistake of assuming that Carson is a Christian — the man is a Seventh Day Adventist (huge difference). He’s about as ‘Christian’ as Glenn ‘the New Age Mormon’ Beck is.

Bentnail, you better examine yourself first. Look at the log in your own eye.

You’re what they call a busy body. Evil gossip regarding Gods people.

A heretic. Instead of spreading Gods Word you are busy defiling others.

All your comments on this board prove who you are. Scoffing and mocking
Gods Prophetic Word. Your soul is in great peril and no, your comments
of what the bible says of being a busy body and heretic are not appreciated.

Be very careful being a luke warm Christian. You are not saved.

Some nice words. But any many that believes the earth is 6,000 years old is very far fit to run a country! It’s one thing to wear your faith on your sleeve, kudos to him, but another to be ignorant to basic science and to take every word so literally.

I’ve heard it all before, over and over, new faces same old same old.

Watch his donor’s list and which corporate PACs and nonprofits line up behind him. He can’t get there from here without them, and to get them he has to sell out the rest of us.

Deep in his heart he is thanking the corporate media for constantly attacking Trump doth directly and with innuendo. The RINO’s want anyone but Trump.

…And as a sidebar, it didn’t take Ran Paul long to scrap his principles–endorsing Mitch McConnell during a primary against a reform minded candidate backed by the same people that put Paul in the Senate. Point is, they all sell out, either on the way or soon thereafter arriving in elected office.
