Can’t wait to see how all these blow hard libs are going to get by when their god government goes away. Gonna be fun to watch.

And on that time thing, got any suggestions on how I can cram 36 hours into a 24 hour day? I could use a longer year but Mars is kinda far away.

Stay far, far away from anything Chris Martenson has to say.

We definitely disagree with you. Can you back that up. I would bet not.

Martenson’s Crash Course is some of the best big picture info available, and a wide variety of pertinent topics are well-covered at his website.

We would all be far better off if more people understood what he talks about.

    DAVE,

I’m a former subscriber of Chris Martenson’s newsletter and have talked with him one on one at a Casey Conference. At said conference, IMHO, he gave the BEST presentation of anybody on the panel over the three day event. He has always impressed me as someone that is very knowledgeable and an all-around GOOD GUY!! Many thanks AL for having Chris as a periodic guest on the KER.

    All The Best,

No one who has seriously listened to Chris Martenson would disagree that he is a smart and articulate person! But nowhere does it say that smart people cant be wrong and his analysis is flawed. Chris has consistently espoused the mantra that energy (actually lack of it) will be the downfall of all humanity. Well here we are again – drowning in oil at a low price! So we find Chris has moderated his message somewhat and moved into selling the “sustainable lifestyle”. Great! But was he right in the past – No, will he be correct in the future – unlikely; Is he a good guy – seems so, but that does not change his documented record of being wide of the mark. And for those who followed his investment advice, well they are a little, perhaps a lot poorer.

Agree with David…”Peak Oil Preacher” reminds me of Joel Osteen. 🙂

The energy question is a big picture issue, David, not something that can be expected to be resolved in a couple-year time frame.

The fact that we are ‘drowning in oil at a low price’, IMO, has to do with the free money being shoved out of the Fed, which has gone into mal-investment in over-production. The current over-production will likely lead to a more rapid decline in production.
