That must be when the Tribulation period starts

Or the “re-set” — the Jubilee year — invasion by extra-terrestrials??

I think coal and electricity will be a better bet in 2016, gold has lost the glitter. No bottom in sight………………….CLAW

      Nov 27, 2015 27:18 AM

India still likes coal…..because it is cheap…………..

Russia just cancelled deal to build nuclear power station in Turkey.

      Nov 27, 2015 27:54 AM

Russia jet gonna cancel Aunt B’s rate hike in December too.

      Nov 27, 2015 27:09 PM

That’s unfortunate. Turkey is about to step up their nuclear energy game, but Russia was a big part of that plan. I guess China or the US will step in to fill the gap. Maybe General Electric will throw their name in the hat.

Gold is just a ‘pet rock” with no instrinsic value at all – no value in the history of mankind;you are a damn fool if you buy it and store for no particular reason- oh throw silver in there too- what a complete waste of time – the dollar is king and will always be THE king – you guys are buffoons for dealing in physical metals and miners ….:)))….OH BTW, I WILL BE HAPPY TO BE A BUFFOON AND RELIEVE YOU OF YOUR PM’s – I need A LOT of door stops for the huge mansion I just bought with my intrinsically and eternally valued FEDERALS RESERVE NOTES – thank you very much!!

Wonder if the rehypothecation in China would not actually drive Chinese buyers to physical?

      Nov 27, 2015 27:25 PM

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO……….Tell me there is no rehypothecation in China.
I thought it was just a western trend.

Some nervous individual investors, maybe. But the outcome would be the same as elsewhere lately. Strong buying of physical coins and bars by the hoi polloi would still be overcome by selling outright / lack of buying from the bigger players.

Most buying in china was jewelries. I went to the center shop and saw a lot of buying of chains and rings. Nearly no buyer of bullion. I almost took picture but stopped by the clerk.

          Nov 28, 2015 28:43 AM

how does the clerk have the authority to stop you from taking a picture…..?

Just thought about it but could not resolve the issue. If we have no inflation and gold does not rise after 7 years ZIRP and 3 QE, do we get a license to print print print? What do we worry about?

    Nov 27, 2015 27:03 PM

Gold is $1412 CDN and $1468 AUD, the inflation we are living with is NASTY!
