Hey, about time we get some eye candy on the show! Great weekend show today. Can’t wait for next week’s market and commentary. Gonna be interesting.
I have to say that Gwen is a very bright young lady.
I read Gwen’s weekly newsletter. Fantastic information with a wonderful writing style. A rarity in the PM industry, she provides the right level of technical detail with understandable visuals. Most of the people in this industry have been consumed by their own ego and just end up writing (or talking) about themselves.
I, for one, would like to hear Gwen on KER again; maybe a weekly or monthly visit?
They have a good list of show sponsors on that link (Energy Fuels, UEC, TrueGold, Mirasol Resources, Pilot Gold, Kaminak Gold, Eurasian Minerals, Lion One Metals, and Gold Quest). Those are the stocks that Brent Cook, Gwen Preston, and Eric Coffin are covering, and they are some good up and coming development & near-term production plays.

I think it rather inappropriate to use the term “eye-candy” to refer to one of the commentators – the female I am presuming. I am not politically-correct myself, but this reference, to a female, is indicate of an accepted lack of gentlemanliness in modern society. Standards have fallen. People are addicted to burgers, porn and football. They believe every lie thrown their way by the mainstream press. They feel they should be treated better. Yet….a woman is still referred to as “eye-candy” in an investment forum.

Nobody notices or cares much anymore when the Dow loses 300 points in one day because usually or somehow (wink, wink) stocks not only cease their fall but cheerfully recover the next day. The lesson is simple it will probably take a 1000 point loss in one day to get attention and that could be the new normal. Remember the FOMC meeting is next Wednesday so what can we expect for Monday’s trading. DT
I think a slow grinding bear would get their attention, especially all these pensions assuming a 7% average return! 🙂

I enjoyed hearing her at the New Orleans conference. Smart Lady and a good writer.
Her newsletter is a bit pricey IMHO. I believe she will make it in the business. I am thinking of going to their one day conference before the larger two day one in YVR next month.
