An update on the news released by Natcore today

March 22, 2016

Chuck Provini joined Al and I to discuss the news released this morning regarding Natcore being contracted to develop a 10mw solar facility in Belize. We had some questions focusing on what this project entails for Natcore and how it fits into the current operations.

I did not think Natcore was into fabrication yet!

As I travel around it is noticeable that Italy, south of about Rome, does have a higher use of solar cells than any other country. It is interesting to see solar panels essentially providing roofs over parking places to also shade cars; very common.

    OFF TOPIC:
Shortly after the first explosion in Zaventem airport that resulted in the killing of 31 people, Islamic State’s supporters created the Twitter hashtag, “Brussels is on fire,” to express their happiness in light of the attack and deliver threatening messages to “Western Crusaders.”

Interesting that while the Presidential candidates were quick to condemn the bombing, the Big Zero from the White House was silent.

Germans have accepted around 1 million Muslims in 2015 which is going to cause a of trouble including violence and strain on the social services including welfare and medical costs with the risk of terrorists attacks.

British intelligence is estimating that among middle east refugees there are 88 radical jihadis per million.
I don’t know how they reached that estimate.
This latest attack should pretty much guarantee Brexit and Merkel was toast long before this politically.

I don’t understand Obama’s reaction “of we must unite” because of Brussels. Not we must unite and capture or wipe out the Islamic terrorists, but no, just we must unite and come together.

Also I don’t understand Obama’s claim that the U.S. was founded by a bunch of slave owners, just like Cuba.
The h*ll it was! It was founded by and for people seeking religious freedom.
Further, as I recall history, Cuba would still be a colony of Spain, if it was not liberated during the Spanish-American war by the United States.
I really wonder about the quality of education in the US.

Cuba was on the verge of independence after fighting two revolutionary wars over several decades at the end of the 19th century. Spain was tottering on the end of empire. The US stepped in, used either an error or false flag (internal explosion in the USS Maine) to justify its intervention, and stripped the failing Spanish empire of Cuba, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. The US then made Cuba a de facto US colony for the next 60 years, writing their Constitution and ensuring that the US would exercise control. So it’s outrageous to credit the US with giving Cuba freedom. (Not to mention the horrendous war the US fought in the Philippines that resulted in the death of hundreds of thousands of Philippinos.)

I wonder about the quality of other assertions you make.

And there’s nothing to wonder about the quality of education in the US, at least when it comes to history, geography, economics & finance, and politics–it’s atrocious.

            OBAMA……….IS AN IDIOT………..

            Mar 22, 2016 22:07 PM

In less than 10 months……and the idiot can be put out to pasture…

            CFS……….the quality of education sucks…..

Attack by the believers on the non-believers. You convert or you die is the philosophy. The politicians will never say that.

Islam is about the ONLY religion that does not preach tolerance.

I don’t think that was a particularly astute comment on his part, Professor! Kind of pablum!

I heard his 58 second speech from Cuba.

    OFF TOPIC:
Did you know that over 8,000 people were arrested in Cuba last year for protesting against their government. (Some freedom of speech!)
Yet our Marxist leader praises the country and wants to give them trade deals.

      Mar 22, 2016 22:44 PM

But they do trading with China and Russia and they are quite similar in human rights. There is a different standard for Cuba and I don’t know why it has taken so many years to start a dialogue and cooperation with them.

The embargo is criminal and counterproductive. One could argue that it has prolonged the Castros’ time in power.

        Mar 22, 2016 22:31 PM

Some of the above comments are very astute, thank you!

Bargain hunting in the health care sector, up 0.6%, helped stabilize the broader market. Valeant Pharmaceuticals Intl Inc (VRX) jumped 7.4% after the company named activist investor Bill Ackman to its board and began a search for a new CEO.
I bought some Valeant back today as it is looking bullish.
