What does a prolonged sideways move imply for the markets?
Today we talk to Doc about the implications of a sideways move for gold and the US markets. Sideways moves can show very different things to investors especially when emotion is involved. Since the technicals we watch are saying the markets will stay range bound for this month, including gold, we need to stretch our time frame and forecast which direction the breakout could come.

Pardu, the odds for purchasing VIXY would probably be more in your favor by the end of May—in about 2 weeks—ask me when we get to the end of May again.
Hi Doc, remember last week when I bought AGN@215. On Fri it fell to 195. Today it jumped to 228.7 and now is 222. If you owned it would you hold or get out? It’s been a wild ride.
Bonzo, you may get a little more “pop” here into next week but this stock is in deep trouble yet. If you’re lucky, this thing could move up to 240—I don’t like this chart medium or long term. I bet it takes out its’ 200 week SMA in the future and then there’s a lot of air below.
Thanks, Doc.
Went long WDC on a swing low.
Doc,
What are your thoughts on shorting Hecla stock HL?
Thank you guys at The Korelin Economics Report for the good work that you do.
Doc,i own mostly junior pm stocks, but i also have a position in K.TO,i bought it 2015 at tax loss season.
Im thinking of Selling it and buy more juniors instead, but it just keeps going higher, what do you think Doc,where is it going on this move 7,80?
Thanks
Pete, it looks like Kinross could move a little higher and then rest—I say this based on the weekly chart that shows it could get a little tired up in the rarefied air.
Thank you Doc.
I use Doc as an uncanny contrary indicator.
Doc, VIXY down below 10, is it a good time to buy VIXY?
