Friday and The Doctor Is In

Currently the DJIA is down while the S&P and NASDAQ are in positive territory. Both Consumer Confidence and the GDP numbers are weak. We opine on the implications of this.
He got the use of a private plane and got the DNC to include most the Communist manifesto in the democratic platform.
He got what he wanted, so that’s why he was looking so bored most of the time.
Doc, stay out of Detroit this weekend. The red hot Astros are coming up there to whip up on the Tigers who don’t have Al Kaline anymore.
Bernie Sanders is returning to his status as an independent after losing the Democratic nomination for president to Hillary Clinton. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Vermont senator announced he will be leaving the Democratic Party when he returns to work in the U.S. Senate this week.
If Trump loses, I wonder if he will return to the Democrat party.
Not bloody likely! After Hillary takes away our guns and our gold she will put Trump, Al, Doc, Rick, and me in a camp to be reeducated.
Yes, Communists are like that!
Silvercrest Metals – A 20 Bagger in 27 weeks, WOW.
It would not surprise me if nearby First Majestic is thinking takeover.
I have no information, though.
DFS – I wrote you back on Doc’s editorial from yesterday regarding the Chinese interest in Lithium miners and posted the news about the Galaxy Resources & General Mining merger to consolidate the LI production under one roof. It makes all the sense in the world….
Well Done Marty. It is bittersweet for me because I sold Silvercrest Mines during the takeover from First Majestic, but then after Silvercrest Metals was spun out bought the stock and sold out earlier in the year to pursue other opportunities. Hindsight is 20/20 as they say….. Still I’m very happy for the investors that stayed the course with Silvercrest Metals. Stunning!!
I still have my Silvercrest after the AG takeover, and had no idea it had done so well. When silver gets to $200 maybe I’ll sell the Silvercrest. Crocodile did OK too after the Newmarket takeover.
DFS – Yes Crocodile gold to Newmarket was a great transition. That is why I feel pretty good about the CEO from Crocodile from 2013-2015 during that transition being at the helm of Jaguar Mining now.
DFS posted the Newmarket results on yesterday’s Doc editorial. They are trucking along!
Sorry that message was to Bonzo Barzini, but I was going to start the message with the note about DFS posting the Newmarket Gold on yesterday’s Doc editorial, and forgot to backspace before submitting.
Management does make a difference. That’s for sure.
It works both ways too, Lousy management can kill a good land package.
+1 DFS.
Marty – I wrote you back on the Doc editorial from yesterday on PVG.
All the best!
Thanks.
Ex, your reward will be GREAT! Thank you.
Wow – what a GREEN day it has been in the miners…. lots of stocks up double digits again. A great way to close up the month!
Even Ivpaf is beginning to participate.
Yep, it is one of the double-digit players today

I mentioned on Monday that this is what would happen after the Sprott Conference, once the investing community heard Robert Friedland overview their 3 projects.
— > On July 25, 2016 at 3:13 pm,
Excelsior says:
I have a feeling coming out of this conference that Ivanhoe will be on the map in a big way for many investors and the low valuation won’t last much longer.
We had 3 big discussions today on http://www.ceo.ca regarding African miners, companies with large ZInc credits, and a PGM discussion and Ivanhoe came up in each conversation.
😮
That did not go unnoticed.
Although it depends more on copper price, I think.
They got a boatload of high grade Copper (no doubt about it), but it is the PGM development story in the Northern Limb and the Zinc levels in their smallest asset that have caught investors attention.
Here is the presentation that Robert Friedland probably gave at the Sprott show….

Friedland knows how to live, but he left the Bay area and is now legally based in Singapore.
I’m stupidly still paying CA taxes.
Some friends of mine just returned from Singapore and loved it (and the food). Went spent an hour doing google maps, photos, and hotspots. I think it would be great as a traveling hub city to stop over in for a day or two, and then continue on.
Just don’t chew gum $1000 fines….
Here’s a post with the OTC “DOUBLE DIGIT” club for the Friday Close. A good way to close up the month:

Yes, Platinum and Palladium have absolutely been on a tear. I have a tiny position in Stillwater and swing trade to add or trim positions in quite often.
There were probably more stocks that were up higher during the day, like Jaguar was up over 15% earlier, but I was just looking at the closing prices today, on the last day of the week, and last trading day of the month. A significant finishing line…..
Go West Gold +19%
Thanks Brian. I’m not familiar with them. (GWSAF) up 19.1% on 3 x the average volume.
I completely forgot one of the prospect generator companies getting a little more attention lately. Nice Friday close:
(TCEGF) Terraco Gold Corp.
$0.139 – Up $0.0154 (12.46% gain)
Don’t put a lot of stock into confidence surveys, personally. Things in my part of the world seem pretty good. Home building is exceptionally strong; new commercial keep appearing; neighborhood goes to work during the week and plays during the weekend. 80% drive newer cars and pickups than myself it seems.
Never hear anyone talking GDP or any other numbers. People with 401-K’s should be happy…………they’ve increased, if invested, for at least the last 7 years.
Listened to parts of both conventions. Didn’t recognize my world in either.
I had a teacher once who said ‘if we took all the money in the country and divided it equally, within a few years most of those with money now, would have it again. I think there is some truth to that when I watch people and how they spend their incomes. Looking forward to a cold beer tonight; it’s Friday where I live. Have a good weekend all………..
Yo, SHAD! IVPAF, 52 week high today! BIG, FAT, bull flag with a MACD cross on the monthly and daily!
Yes Sir. Post-Sprott Convention action.
Jason – Good job on your UWTI and DWTI trades lately. I was really having fun doing that a few months ago, but have become to entangled with the miners again to give oil price speculation the focus it requires. All the best!
Jason – You’ve encouraged me to pull up a quick chart. Check out the Green line of the ADX. Gadzooks!! (it may have gotten a bit overdone)…..

But volume was excellent, so it will just be flat for a while.
That was some nice volume (eh?) 😉
Strangely, there was not much volume in Canada, biggest lot was only 4,500 shares.
But in thevUS THERE WERE 12,500 10,000 10,000 quite often.
There was a really big purchase a few days ago. I forget the size, but it was big 50K or 70K in one lot.
Hi Doc, still expecting gol
Large size indicates hedge fund usually, and the down tick or the uptick tells whether it was buying or selling.
I never cease to be amazed how lazy some funds are.
They look at level II, and just put in an order at whatever price will cover the amount of shares they need or want to get rid of.
The market maker will just bundle at that price and take an extra profit from smaller amounts at a different price, that make up the bundle.
I watch it happen every day!
Hi Doc,
Still expecting sideways to down movement in gold, or have you reentered your positions?
Thanks for another great show.
Great list of double digit gainers too.
Anybody know anything about Golden Tag Resources? It’s getting some chatter on ceo.ca after announcing that it had become 100% owner of its silver project in Durango.
Doc, I got tired watching gold going up and went ahead this week and bought OR@12.53,
OCANF@3.53, and TAHO@15. I sleep better owning them, even if a correction is coming, than not owning them. If they do get hit, I’ll just buy more.
Did you have a good time in Philly? I wonder how much Bill paid Bernie to endorse Hill?
