- Newmont Mining NEM,

Maybe when gold goes to 5K we’ll see NEM@60 and ABX@30 !!!
At 5k gold they would be closer to 600 and 300 than 60 and 30.
Were gold to go to $5K, there may not be an equity market, at least for a season.
Disagree Marty, there will be a huge market in gold equities. I will bet; however, that you mean conventional equities.
NEM over 200%, Cory? I bought NEM in Jan of 2013 and it’s just gotten back to parity this month, three-and-a-half years later. It’s the most expensive stock I own at $44.65/share, and my 3.5 year return is +1.74% NEM has gotten to $63.80, but not since 2012. It’s not been worth it, and NEM doesn’t have much left to go before it hits new highs, at which point I suspect most investor will cash out and look elsewhere. If it wasn’t for the dividend I would have left at $17.00 for the tax loss.
