Heads up everyone: I just bought Osisko Gold@12.50 so it will surely drop to 11 now. You might want to buy some puts.

Thanks, CFS, that’s my kind of approach. Not only do I focus heavily on momentum, but, for the reasons he pointed out at the beginning, I chart everything priced in gold when looking at the mid to long term.

On that note, it looks like the miners might have to go sideways to down for awhile.

Matthew, I don’t think for a very long time as “awhile”, since a number of stocks have erased their overbought status in just a week or so.

it probably depends on when the bond market breaks, and that is hard to predict, because the banksters are doing everything they can to paint the tape in everything.

When I stated that “I chart everything priced in gold when looking at the mid to long term” I was simply talking about weekly and monthly charts. Using the dollar works just fine for short term work but gold is best for accurately assessing where any sector is at in the big picture. The Dow-Gold ratio is a good example.

I do not expect the miners to correct for a very long time whether we price them in gold or dollars.
