Is China going to be running the internet starting October 1st?
Our friend Valentin Schmid, Business Editor of the Epoch Times put us in touch with his co-worker Joshua Philipp. Joshua is an investigative reporter for the Epoch and specializes in Chinese espionage. he recently wrote an article outlining the changes that are coming to oversight on the internet. Initially we probably will not notice these changes but Joshua points out some concerns he has with China playing a bigger role in how the internet functions.
The interview is long (just over 20 minutes) but there is a lot of information to discuss.

Auryn Resources acquires option on Banos del Indio
2016-09-26 08:00 ET – News Release
Mr. Shawn Wallace reports
AURYN OPTIONS BANOS DEL INDIO GOLD PROPERTY IN SOUTHERN PERU
Auryn Resources Inc. has acquired the option to earn a 100-per-cent interest in the Banos del Indio gold project located 10 kilometres to the north of Auryn’s Huilacollo project with known gold mineralization. The project is located in the Tacna province of southern Peru. The Banos del Indio gold project hosts one of the largest untested alteration systems in the Andes and is located within a prominent epithermal belt.
Interesting. For those with Google Earth installed on their computers, zoom in virtually anywhere in this polygon and you will see small mining operations.

I believe, but don’t KNOW, that most of this is small operators who fly under any regulatory radar. The environmental impact must be horrendous–what is the water quality downstream? A good argument in favor of mining companies that can be held to some standards.
How mining shouldn’t be done:
It looks like Huilacollo is further south than the above area, in the high mountains near the Chilean border.

CFS:
Golden Predator,GPY.V,NTGSF had a lousy day today. GPY lost .07. I’ve seen other companies when they announce trading on the OTCQX do really well. Any thoughts?

PM prices are increasing on SGE.
Ag at $20. Au at $1343.
Well, prices did not stay up long.
SilverCrest Metals down 20%, maybe a buying opportunity??
No one has a crystal ball. We all make educated guesses based on what knowledge and beliefs we hold.
Given that there should be a shortage in supply of precious metals, given that we know the price is set on the COMEX and is manipulated by extremely deep pockets, at will. Knowing that key expiration dates are Tuesday night and the end of this week and then nothing for a while, I would expect this week to present a good buying time.
The unknown, as far as I am concerned is whether the PMs prices will be allowed to rise after this week or continued to be manipulated low.
Given that keeping prices low actually requires real physical metal, which is known to be in short supply (20 tones of gold imported from Switzerland to the US IN July) then it becomes more probable that prices will be allowed to rise after this week, until at least the next expiration times.
This is combined, as far as I am concerned, with the belief that gold and to some extent silver are real money, devoid of counter-party risk.
Can PM prices go down because of a collapse in the stock market? I have always suspected that to be possible, if not probable. However, given the possibility of bank bails or even mandatory governmental allocation of private pension funds, I have always considered PMs as insurance against such disaster. So personally I prefer to have considerable PMs in hand. I like the leverage of mining stocks, but recognize that if the worst possible economic scenario happens, the stock market may be shut down for a period of time.
I see my stupid iPad incorrected tonnes to tones. This “smart” electronic device sucks.
(and I do realize incorrected is not an accepted word in the English language, but it fits this device perfectly.)
I also see it incorrected bail-ins to bails.
I notice Real Goods Solar, LGSE, is having large volume buying Friday and today!
Oops. I don’t have good eye-sight! RGSE IS REAL GOODS SOLAR ENERGY….now up over 70% today.
https://rgsenergy.com/ Is their website.
I did mention this stock a couple of months ago. Do not own shares, but wish I had bought some.
(I still wonder if the company will survive. Like all new small firms it has negative cash flow. Just had successful financing though.)
I see that Mawson Resources, which presented at the two conferences recently, has gone from 0.25 to 0.40 in that his last week! Quite a percentage jump!
(I do own some shares in that stock)
Thanks for the heads up CFS. I used to own Mawson a few years back but really have not kept up with them. I’ll go check out their recent presentations again to see what’s up.
I don’t think people get it, I watched the debate last night, I lived through Brexit. Not many people listen to the whole debate, they tune out after 20 minutes, they don’t change their mind. If I can get 3/1 on Trump winning ill bet it’s currently 2/1 on UK sites
was 9/1 brexit winning the night before
