Mr. Big Al Korelin, welcome back and take as much time off as you like. Family comes first (even if all ya got are pets and plants). Besides, you’re a bigwig so you can take as much time off as you want.

My question is will we see a floor under stocks? The Japanese central bank is already a huge buyer of stocks. From a Bloombum article:

“Already a top-five owner of 81 companies in Japan’s Nikkei 225 Stock Average, the BOJ is on course to become the No. 1 shareholder in 55 of those firms by the end of next year, according to estimates compiled by Bloomberg from the central bank’s exchange-traded fund holdings.”

And now Janet Yellow is semi-floating the same idea. You think this is the next big thing for equities?

And of course we already have the PPT monkeying about in equities.

Facebook has just launched a competitor to Craig’s list.

I have heard that Google is gearing up to compete with Amazon.

What worries me is that Amazon has been using zero/low profit margin to take out all competition, but what will happen if some company like Google chooses to directly compete with Amazon?

One gold share I own is up today, the rest are down.
Chris’s point of bottom up, sorta fundimental, my pot shares are up again today.

Funny tho, some days potshares seems to follow gold and other days it doesnt.

What effect will the referendum rejection in Columbia have on mining properties?

Made a whopping 30 cents on UWTI today. They ran the price up after running stops. Made 4.5% net on DUST.
