Chris, shouldn’t you change the name of the National Investor to the International Investor?

      Oct 18, 2016 18:32 PM

Well, I still have primary focus on the U.S. . .majority of portfolio is and always has been U.S.-centric. But needs be I have to cover other subjects as well. . .and sometimes the best “story” stocks are elsewhere, as the case with Ecuador right now, arguably the last frontier of mining in this whole hemisphere.

Apparently I have to be up at 1AM this morning BST to listen to you folks. When are you going to start your world tour? 🙂

Can the talk be recorded and re-posted?

I enjoy and value Chris’s investment commentary, but also find his vocabulary entertaining at times. On this show he used the label “Carnival Barker.” It was a perfect description and at the same time hilarious!!! Chris I am a fan.

Hi Mr T – Unfortunately I have to leave for a function soon and can’t make it to your presentation tonight. There were some comments I left for you last week and on the weekend show for you that would be great to hear about regarding Ecuador.

I’ll repost them here if you have a chance for a quick line or two:

Chris Temple – If you see this I’d be curious to get your thoughts on SolGold.

This is from a poster on CEO over the weekend:
@Oliver – “SolGold* (SOLG LN) 18.8p, Mkt Cap £229.3m – Board considers investment proposal from BHP Billiton”

” Solgold reports that it has received a proposal from BHP Billiton to acquire a 10% interest in Solgold for US$30m and to earn in to the Cascabel project itself through spending US$275m “to acquire 70% “ of Solgold’s 85% interest in the local company ENSA.”

        > The board considers the proposal is “NOT in the best interests of Solgold and its shareholders.”
        > The BHP Billiton proposal is subject to a number of conditions which include a 60 day period of due diligence on the property and that the Solgold board should recommend the withdrawal of the motions “to approve the previously announced US$33 million financing with Maxit > Capital LP (Maxit) and Newcrest Mining Limited (Newcrest) and shareholders not approving the same”. $SOLG.L $CGP $BHP
#Ecuador by SP Angel – Economics / Mining”

Chris Temple – I’m sure you’ll touch on the Lundin “Fruta del Norte” project, as it is the flagship asset in development in Ecuador, but I wondered if you still follow Cornerstone Capital Resources (CTNXF) or have kept up with the merger of Ecuador Gold & Copper (EGLDF) into Ross Beatty’s Odin Mining (ODMEF)?

Any thoughts on these companies would be appreciate, but you may be covering that on your presentation on Tuesday night. Thanks.

I was really enjoying the webinar last night but it was too late for me and, combined with a couple of bottles of Gower Gold, I ended up falling asleep at some point.

I found it very interesting though. Very informative. Pity I could not stay awake to hear it all.

    Thanks for doing it.
