Russia and the CIA report on hacking during the election

Cory
December 12, 2016

Chris Temple joins Al and I for a round table discussion on the report over the weekend regarding Russia’s potential hacking of the Democratic computers. The story broke late Friday in the Washington Post and has since been picked up by a number of other media sources. There is a lot to consider when looking into this story so we share our views on what it all means for the Country moving forward.

Hillary lost because she was a terrible choice as a candidate by the democratic party.

After 8 years of Bill and the years of Shillary as Secretary of State plus all the Clinton corruption from their foundations voters had a large case of Clinton fatigue.

Clinton Campaign, Top Democrats Call For Intel Briefing, Commission Ahead Of Electoral College Vote

Update: The push to delegitimize the election results continued after a trio of top Senate Democrats called for a nonpartisan commission to investigate allegations that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election. Sens. Good discussion. I’m pleased like many others if Trump can dial back the rhetoric against Russia. We don’t need a potential war that could end all wars since it might end life on the planet. At the same time, we don’t need a war with Iran so hopefully Trump can see the folly in being led by the nose by Israel and Saudi
Arabia along with the other Sunni nations.
Cory made a statement that 1/2 the people voted for Trump. Not so. Only 56% of eligible voters even voted. If one believes that Hillary took the popular vote than only slightly more than a quarter of the people elected Mr. Trump. The same sad statistic would have only slightly improved if Hillary had won. None of this resembles the strong democracy that we supposedly ‘trump’ ourselves to be.

      Dec 12, 2016 12:08 PM

It’s a republic which means you don’t need a majority to elect a president. Did you go to publik skool?

        Dec 12, 2016 12:17 PM

Exactly. Unrestrained democracy is tyranny. That’s why the establishment has brainwashed everyone into thinking it is sacred.

Why the Electoral College Is Great, and No One Should Even Think About Abolishing It
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LEocayWFH8

If the game was all about getting a majority, perhaps Trump would have done so. But that’s not the game and his team knew it.

Point one, I’m not so sure she won the popular vote anyway. Did they count all the absentee ballots? How much electoral fraud might Hillary have committed (aside from the media collusion and her other dirty tricks during the campaign)? How many illegal immigrants might have voted? Has anyone seen a good analysis?

Second point, the Washington Post is far from being un-biased. Their sources are anonymous and we should just take their word for it? Nonsense.

Here’s Why Russia Wasn’t Behind the WikiLeaks Emails Leak

The Washington Post continues to double-down on its Red-baiting hysteria, reporting over the weekend as follows:

“Intelligence agencies have identified individuals with connections to the Russian government who provided WikiLeaks with thousands of hacked emails from the Democratic National Committee and others, including Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, according to U.S. officials.”

The objective, according to the Post’s perpetually anonymous sources, was this: “Those officials described the individuals as actors known to the intelligence community and part of a wider Russian operation to boost Trump and hurt Clinton’s chances.”

One aspect of the manner in which WikiLeaks released a specific subset of emails is almost certain proof that a sophisticated state-supported intelligence operation was not behind the alleged hack of the emails. The emails WikiLeaks released from Podesta’s email account didn’t just pertain to his work as Campaign Chairman for Hillary Clinton in 2016; they also reached back to 2008 when he was Co-Chairman of President Obama’s Transition Team.

PA Judge Denies Recount And Blasts Stein’s “Suspicions Of Hacking” That “Border On Irrational”

“Dr. Stein has repeatedly stated that she has sought a Pennsylvania recount to ensure that every vote counts. Granting her later than last minute request for relief, however, could well ensure that no Pennsylvania vote counts. Such a result would be both outrageous and completely unnecessary; as I have found, suspicion of a “hacked” Pennsylvania election borders on the irrational.”

    Hey Big Al,

I just finished the novel by Doug Casey called “Speculator”. Even though I have some problems with some aspects of Doug’s personality, I have to say it was a good read.

It moved along nicely and kept me interested all the way to the end. I suspect it could easily be turned into a screenplay.

100% correct about the CIA and all the meddling our gooberment does in the elections and the affairs of other countries.

All it does is cost us taxpayers a fortune and buy us lots of enemies and guaranteed blow back.

    Dec 12, 2016 12:53 PM

Everyone has an opinion, and I have one too.

My input is, be careful about judging w/out all the facts. For instance, on Boeing, I worked there for 6 yrs and I never felt anything was overpriced – instead, I became amazed at the amount of stuff a plane now has to be able to do – like triple redundant everything. I think that you Al are no better a judge of Air Force One’s price that you are of your expensive new Mercedes. If we know nothing about stuff, we should say nothing, in my opinion.

And about the CIA, sure, nobody’s perfect, but for the most part, here again, we don’t know all the facts, and from my little knothole, they are patriots. If ANY of you have ever served your country, you’d know a wee bit about what I’m talking about. But since you chose not to, you don’t. Be careful about pointing fingers at those who are saving your ASS.

      Dec 12, 2016 12:00 PM

One other related comment I have about Air Force One is, the price is very dependent on how many one makes. When I was at Boeing we made 2. If you make 2 of anything in this world, instead of 1000’s, the price goes way up, because everything is custom. It’s an economic fact of life.

Also, if price is high, sure it should be looked at. But do not forget, that when the President is flying around in this thing, if ever an enemy comes up in a MiG or any other modern enemy aircraft, you don’t want to be shot down because you were trying to save a penny. Same goes for all other mil aircraft – they are expensive, so that our pilots WIN.

        Dec 12, 2016 12:15 PM

I have worked in government contracting and you thieves will low ball a price to get a contract the claim cost over runs after the contract is awarded. 747s been in production for 40 years. It’s not like you all are designing a first time spaceship for the first ever Mars mission.

        Dec 12, 2016 12:54 PM

Maybe you know more about this than I do Bill. My reading tells me the F-35 is an albatross, and no match for the Russian fighter jets that cost far less. Is this not true? If it IS true, than I don’t imagine the high quality of Air Force One would make any difference if it came right down to it.

Then there’s the matter of the $6.5 trillion the pentagon can’t account for. Should we take it for granted this is about saving our asses, rather than corruption?

I say the same about the CIA and the rest of the security state as I do about the Washington Post: they operate in secret and I’m supposed to take it as a given that they’re serving MY interests? Nonsense. That’s not how freedom works.

The question that needs to be asked is were voting machines hacked and if yes show us the proof. Notice how the MSN is beating around the bush on this one?

    Dec 12, 2016 12:49 PM

CIA needs a name change. There just is not enough intelligence in that agency. LIA?-lesser intelligence agency. Intelligence is cooked up to alter major outcomes such as fake WMD information to have an excuse to attack Iraq to defend Israel. A lot of Jewish influence in the US government. The main job of the CIA is to meddle in the affairs of other countries to destabilize and change leaders as well supporting rebels/terrorists to overthrow governments.

      H.L. Menken had it right:
