Question: Won’t it be costly for Apple and other multinationals to bring their dollars home when they have to purchase it at todays prices of the index?

Gold folder lime the proverbial cheap suit.

This was a worse choke than Greg Norman’s Master collapse.
This was a worse choke than Bill Buckner error.
This was a worse choke than the Maple Leafs 4-1. Loan lead.

I’ve seen many cheap horses fold like accordions in the stretch, but I never saw anything as bad as gold and silver these last 7 weeks.

      JTL:
It is estimated that 80% of all trades are made by machines running algo’s.Also 10% of the population control 80% of the individual trades made. There was a company in the book ” Flash Boys” that boasted that it did not have a losing trade in over two years of trading while being in cash at the end of every trading day.
Like it or not this is the new reality, until it isn’t.

You’ll have to pardon me for repeating myself from last week. But, yet again, having to wade through the continuous stream of what can only be deemed psychologically unstable outbursts by JTL, I feel it bears repetition.

“So, for the record, I am firmly of the opinion that JTL and any others of his ilk who show up with the obvious intent to insult, taunt, and libel others should be, without hesitation, banned permanently. The most egregious is the tacit insult that is continually hurled at Al and you via the presumption that KEreport can be used as an unfettered platform for atrocious behavior. It’s unacceptable, imho.”

Earlier this year a classmate of mine who is a real estate agent in Seattle said she had her 4 bedroom rambler with a pool listed for 930,000. Good Grief. Anchorage Alaska and the Matsu Valley have been doing really well despite the lower oil prices also.

      Dec 28, 2016 28:25 PM

My lady and I have been planning on moving to Seattle for the last few years, and we are shocked at the small crappy houses that go for a half million – 1 million dollars. We’ve visited with folk in Seattle have visited about 5 times in the last 3 years, and people shrug their shoulders at paying near $400 per square foot on old homes, with crappy bathrooms and tiny closests, or act like it is normal to pay $2000-$5000 a month in rent on 2-4 bedroom homes with 1-2 bathrooms. Little do they know they could live like kings and queens in other parts of the country and have amazing new properties 3-4 times the size with much more modern kitchens, plumbing/electric.

The housing pricing in Seattle and Vancouver has been hard to fathom as we looked into both areas, compared to middle “fly-over” America and Canada. We also looked at Portland, OR which is more reasonable (but not nearly as good of a job market or economy as their northern neighbors). However, even Portland is seeing more Asian money flooding in and scooping up housing, which is driving up the real estate prices. (especially since Vancouver passed its tax on foreign buyers).

Al, friends and I were trying to list the muslim migrant attacks over Christmas across Europe. We had to give up.

There is almost a rape DAILY in Europe now by muslim men who were not in Europe until Merkel opened the borders – these are just words written down and these awful crimes seem distant to the reader… but imagine if it was your wife, daughter, mother, etc?

One migrant tried to, allegedly, rape one women in Germany over Christmas and allegedly attacked/tried to rob another woman.

In France a woman was sexually assaulted, allegedly, and fought off her attacker. He is now in hospital as she hit him repeatedly with a shoe and apparently SHE is being investigated for assault.

Then there are the 6 migrant men who, allegedly, set alight a homeless man in Germany over Christmas.

Numerous Christmas Trees in city centres were pulled down – the images were caught on CCTV – and the trees turned to point towards Mecca.

I could go on and on. This is just the past 3 days.

These people follow a religion which tells them to murder non-believers, especially jews and christians. It tells them to murder gay people and to use rape as a means of spreading islam.

They have no place in an enlightened, liberal secular society as they will use – are using – the rights of democracies to bring down those democracies.

      The Suicide Of Germany

Of the 1.2 million migrants who arrived in Germany in 2014 and 2015, only 34,000 found work.

Angela Merkel went to lay white roses at the scene of the Christmas market attack in Berlin. Thousands of Germans did the same. Many brought candles and cried. But anger and the will to combat the threat remained largely absent.

Nothing better describes the present state of Germany than the sad fate of Maria Landenburger, a 19-year-old girl, murdered at the beginning of December. A member of a refugee relief organization, Landenburger was among those who welcomed migrants in 2015. She was raped and murdered by one of the people she was helping. Her family asked anyone who wanted to pay tribute to their daughter to give money to refugee associations, so that more refugees could come to Germany.

German guilt over Nazi era made them dumb and blind to the reality of Islam. They need to suffer more to wake up to the reality.

Unfortunately, they’re not even allowed to have an open discussion of their past, since certain views are strictly verboten on pain of imprisonment. Certainly that same prohibition prevents useful open discussion of the root of current problems.

Even worse than the legal prohibitions, however, is the brainwashing. CFS posted a great one on Sweden a week or so ago.

Note that people are only jailed (or burned at the stake) for speaking a truth that counters a fraud that the elite want you to believe.

DC, I’m not really sure what you are ranting about.

I make a comment about gold gold and silver really had a terrible 7 weeks and you carry on about outbursts, insults and taunts.

I’m amazed that is your take away from my above comment.

As far as Al and Cory go, I have the utmost respect for the both of them.

I am also truly appreciate of the platform they’ve created to exchange ideas, and to hear from many intelligent people.

It is also that I respect them both so much that if I feel I have a strong difference of opinion and can voice it.

Seabreeze Partners’ Doug Kass Surprises For 2017

Bankrupt Sears, Brexit Becomes Bremain, & Bye-Bye ‘Peak Auto’ – Doug Kass’ 15 Surprises For 2017

The core thread of next year’s relatively downbeat “surprises” from Seabreeze Partners’ Doug Kass is that the crowd is wearing Trump-colored glasses and that the single-biggest surprise is how quickly the bloom comes off the Trump flower.

In 2017 Donald Trump no longer will be seen as an invincible politician or a self-proclaimed stock market savior (see Surprise #3). Rather, he will learn, the hard way, the difficulty in governing and what Mario Cuomo meant when he said, “Campaign in poetry, govern in prose.”

The market risks and Surprises for next year almost all will be to the downside.

Risk will happen fast in 2017.

Surprise #1: The New Year Starts Out On a Sour Note and Sets a Negative Market Tone for the Year as Sears Holdings Declares Chapter 11 Bankruptcy in Early January 2017.

thanks for the link to Doug Kass 2017 predictions… this one was one of the alternates: “Also-Ran #5: Gold Shines: Domestic strife/chaos and an intensification of conflict between the new administration toward Iran and China result in investors and traders seeking protection in a period of heightened political risk. Unexpectedly — at least based on the yellow metal’s continued downtrend in prices over the last several years — gold goes from goat to hero.”

I am not against a free trade zone and free borders for Europeans. I am specifically against Islamic refugees being settled in Europe. It is much cheaper and more sensible for refugees from the Middle East to be resettled in the Middle East.

That would be 10 times more cost-effective.
Somali, Moroccan and Libyan refugees should be re-settle in Northern Africa, and I would have no problem with American aid being spent for that.

      Dec 27, 2016 27:31 PM

You have to ask yourself why there are refugees in the first place.

“That would be 10 times more cost-effective.”

The elites don’t care. They have no plan to settle these refugees elsewhere. They want to flood western countries with them in order to destroy western culture and identity and to destroy people like you.

        GH
        Dec 28, 2016 28:03 AM

Absolutely. Cost effectiveness is not part of the equation.

    Dec 27, 2016 27:49 PM

    What do I think?
I’m pretty much convinced that in the upper echelons of power there exists a truly demonic form of evil.
I’m talking about an evil that is in plain sight.
You just have to know what your looking for.

1st I’d like to congratulate you on your calls on the pot stocks.
Pretty much everyone here knows that I sport a nifty tinfoil hat.
        I’m OK with that.

I wonder if you guys are familiar with D Icke?
He is saying the same thing you guys are,(concerning the evil) and he puts “dots” together.
Thats why I was saying you are sounding like Icke.
Hudas is crazy as she has the story of the 170k tons of gold.
They are both “nuts” as they figure the aliens are lurking.

          Dec 28, 2016 28:08 AM

            not judging John K.
I read the Hudas story, and Icke ..as I said…connects dots.

          Dec 28, 2016 28:19 PM

I don’t have to listen to Ick or Hudas to know our rulers are evil.

Obama Set To Announce Economic Sanctions And “Covert Cyber Ops” Against Russia For “Election Hacking”

According to the Washington Post and “senior administration officials,” the Obama administration is close to announcing a series of economic sanctions and other measures to punish Russia for its “interference” in the 2016 presidential election. An announcement is expected to come as early as this week and would likely include “covert cyber operations.”

Mr. Big Al Korelin and the rest of you people,

Isn’t it obvious that Merkel and those of her ilk want to destroy western identity and culture? And she doesn’t give a damn how many of her own people she kills in the process.

I can’t comprehend why they German people tolerate her and why they have not given her the Mussolini treatment.

      Dec 28, 2016 28:18 AM

Wonder why most Arab countries are now refusing to accept any return of refugees?

      Merkel’s Refugee Nightmare

The prospect of Merkel winning reelection dwindle with each terrorist attack. This time refugee “youths” set a homeless person on fire in the Berlin underground station. They have been identified as refugees from Syria and Libya, police confirmed. The set a homeless person on fire as he slept in the train station Christmas Eve. It is not yet clear, but they all may have been what are commonly known as “MUFLs” (minor unaccompanied refugees).

Most Arab countries are now refusing to accept any return of refugees. What began as Merkel’s ploy to switch the topic from her hard-line policy on Greece to make her appear compassionate opening the doors to refugees, has proven to be far more costly than helping Greece. Merkel has torn Europe apart and will bring her election to a failure.

The 12:1 reverse split took place today for (USA.TO). We’ll see how things go over the next week or two as often things get a bit wonky for a bit after a reverse split.

Also, Mexus (MXSG) pulled back down by 50% to $.10 earlier today, and is presenting a good buying opportunity again. I added some new shares to my free ride position near $.12 today, and may buy more if it gets back down near $.10-$.11 again in the near future. As a reminder, their Production is slated to be announced in January, and then we should have a bit more guidance on throughput through the crushers, the amount of ore loaded on the leach pads, their recovery rates, and 2017 production & cost guidance.

Also Resource Capital Gold Corp (RCG.V) is trading at $.21 below the level of their recently announced private placement at $.25 per share. It looks like an attractive point to accumulate.
