Experts: NY Can Absorb Closing Of Indian Point Nuke Plant
By DAVID KLEPPER and FRANK ELTMAN – Associated Press – 44 minutes ago
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — A plan to close the aging Indian Point nuclear power plant by 2021 removes a long-held fear of an accident occurring miles from the nation’s most populous city.

Although the plant provides about a quarter of the electricity in New York City and suburban Westchester County, experts agree that taking he plant offline should have a negligible long-term impact on supply. Whether electric rates climb as a result remains an open question.

“It’s hard to know how likely it will impact rates, because terms of the shutdown haven’t been laid out in any detail yet,” said Peter Bradford, a former chairman of the state’s Public Service Commission.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Monday the state will be able to make up for lost electricity generation after announcing a deal with plant owner Entergy Corp. to close the facility in five years.

Thanks Wolfster, they all have various buy recommendations.
NBIX probably has the most Analyst recommendations.

Blackrock just invested $15 Million in it.

    Oil:
The US sells 8 million barrels from strategic reserve.
    Nigeria breaks quota
and it appears Kuwait will continue to increase production.

No wonder oil took a dip today!

The unemployment rate in Italy rose to 11.9% even though the consensus was 11.6%.
Italy generated 19,000 more jobs but the huge influx of migrants caused the rise in joblessness.
Most seriously the youth unemployment skyrockets to 39.4% .

SGE is Gold at $1198.45. so there’s a chance for > $1200 tomorrow.

Slowly up gives longer term higher values, before consolidation.

What would be the smartest move for all those other currencies getting Trumped by The US dollar, there is no answer other than for their countries to buy GOLD. Gold is for real, The US dollar is monopoly money and if it’s hurting your currency sell your US dollar holdings and buy gold. Gold will always and ultimately hold it’s value, the almighty dollar is dust in the wind. DT

    2017-01-10 09:28 ET – News Release

    Mr. Quinton Hennigh reports

NOVO SEES INCREASED GRADES FROM BULK SAMPLE AT BEATONS CREEK

Novo Resources Corp. has provided results from bulk sample processing at its 100-per-cent-controlled Beatons Creek gold project, Western Australia. In 2016, Novo extracted approximately 30,000 tonnes of mineralized conglomerate in order to provide refined data concerning mining techniques, costs, methods of grade control, mining dilution and grade reconciliation, information critical to help the Company complete its preliminary economic assessment ( please see the Company’s news release dated September 6, 2016 for further details ). A nearby diagram ( Figure 1, below ) describes the geology of the gold deposit and steps Novo has taken to drill/trench, model, estimate, and sample the deposit.

      Wow!

That’s the power of tech stocks. But investing in them is highly knowledge intensive. So easy to get slaughtered by them.
