Chris Temple joins me today to discuss the general melt up in markets across the board. It is not normal for the broad equity markets to continue higher when safe haven assets are also rising. Reality will have to set in on one of these sides and we may be seeing this already in global bond yields.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Jeff Regan was born with underdeveloped optic nerves and had spent most of his life in a blur. Then four years ago, he donned an unwieldy headset made by a Toronto company called eSight.

Suddenly, Regan could read a newspaper while eating breakfast and make out the faces of his co-workers from across the room. He’s been able to attend plays and watch what’s happening on stage, without having to guess why people around him were laughing.

They are certainly searching for an impeachable offense under the emoluments clause.
SHANGHAI (AP) — Democratic senators are protesting the Trump Organization’s acceptance of a valuable trademark from the Chinese government without asking Congress first if doing so is constitutional.

Additional Democrats signed a letter Friday to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson that complains about Trump getting special treatment from China.

CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Nevada still plans to launch recreational marijuana sales in July despite warnings this week of a federal crackdown by the administration of President Donald Trump, state officials said Friday.

Marijuana possession and sales are illegal under federal law, but Nevada voters decided in November to allow people age 21 or older to use pot recreationally — becoming one of eight states to do so.

One would hope Sessions places his commitment to the Constitution, which leaves most powers with the states, above his personal antipathy to cannabis.

I sense in Chris’ comments a bit of anxiety about the conventionals. He’s been warning for a couple of months his skepticism about how far ‘hope’ can take things. I believe his concerns are valid and that his thoughts will be vindicated by the near future. Here’s another analyst who is fun to read and has many of Chris’ thoughts: http://news.goldseek.com/GoldSeek/1487954478.php
