NEW YORK (AP) — Exxon’s new CEO says the company will increase production and has a mix of projects to handle any level of oil and gas prices.

Darren Woods also said Tuesday at a meeting with investors that Exxon Mobil Corp. is committed to increase its dividend and will buy back shares when the company has extra cash.

Woods rose to Exxon’s top job two months ago after his predecessor, Rex Tillerson, was tapped by then-President-elect Donald Trump to become secretary of state. The investor meeting is Woods’ first public event as CEO.

    Not lying? lol, duh
The best one will always be “To the moon!”

bout time someone agreed with me, people should understand why 5% phyzz, consequences, advantages and disadvantages etc

I found an interesting company years ago, It was advertised on Bobs site, I mentioned it to 321 in an email.
    Ad was gone….fast.

Takes a little practice but a person can learn to spot the BSers.
There is a zinc play out there now that fits that bill.It has good numbers tho so it’ll probly jump. Horrible, unscrupulous management tho.

If I was after Zinc I would go with “Canada zinc”, thought that for years now, Bob recently posted an article on it.

+1 I was thinking the same thing.

Nolan is a sharp dude an if you think about some of their partnerships on their streaming deals and royalty deals, they’ve REALLY stepped it up over the last few years in a big way.

I added my Sandstorm position back today on some of the weakness. They will weather any more weakness in 2017 in the metals sector, but they are one of the few “Streaming” companies that has a real shot at being a 3-5 bagger in this next sector, but still offer the safety and diversification of a basket of assets.

Much more upside potential than Franco-Nevada, Royal Gold, or Silver Wheaton.

sector = cycle (I was thinking about it being a resumption of the secular bull and the streaming “sub-sector” while typing).

So it should have said: “…they (Sandstorm) are one of the few “Streaming” companies that has a real shot at being a 3-5 bagger in this next CYCLE, but still offer the safety and diversification of a basket of assets.”

Cory and Al, et al, could you tell me which CEO’s are liars?

      Mar 01, 2017 01:48 AM

Hey Bonzo, that is a really good question. I wish I knew all the CEOs that are lairs out there but I can guarantee you that we do our very best to keep them off of our show. I do a lot of due diligence on our sponsor companies to make sure that they have the best intentions for shareholders at mind all the time.

The first thing to do is look at past successes and make sure that they actually were good for shareholders. I think the worst thing you can see is a stock price skyrocket only to fall right back down a couple months later. Those are the groups I stay away from. Yes there is money to be made on the run up but these are not long term successful companies.

As I stated I truly believe in all the management teams on our site that I chat with. Be aware of those management teams that were in tech companies 4 years ago and marijuana companies 2 year ago. Also be aware of those teams with the “big names” pumping the stock…

B’s comment above is also a good one.

CEO’s are cheerleaders. Nothing wrong with that. You have to take that into account when you see them on TV. Misleading investors is another story.

I just received the latest edition of Resource World Magazine, they list eight mining stocks to watch, for those that don’t get this magazine the companies are 1) Broadway Gold Mining Ltd. 2) White Gold Corp. 3) Pure Gold Mining Inc. 4) McEwen Mining Inc. 5) Harte Gold Corp. 6)Kirkland Lake Gold Inc. 7)Cordoba Minerals Corp. and finally 8) SilverCrest Metals Inc. The elements that are critical are listed as copper, zinc, cobalt, lithium, and graphite, I think they should add one more critical element and that is electrolytic manganese. DT.

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard very good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
