I believe the doctor is wrong, in that we will see a slow decrease in the bond market and a slow increase in the physical, real things, stocks.

Te safe-haven assets of Silver, gold, Platinum and Palladium will perform increasingly well as money moves into these and corresponding VIABLE metals stocks.

    Silver stinks……………..

      Apr 28, 2017 28:10 PM

      I predict…….gold holds….

        Apr 28, 2017 28:12 PM

Silver to gold ratio was 73.65 to 1….silver is in its own game……jmho

          long term good buy…..

I will definitely look this up as I have not seen it yet. Been busy here though! I certainly would not jump on North Korea at this particular moment. Kim Jung un is simply acting like a rooster at this point.

China is reporting zinc inventories are down 26% in a week, that is good for zinc producers like USA.

Monday, when most European markets will be closed for Labour Day, will be the 6th anniversary of the Silver Slaughter of 2011.
I believe any similar attempt this year will fail, although judging by the CoT reports, I expect it will be attempted. Apart from the New Dodd-Frank Law which would appear to make such an act illegal, I believe it will fail, because this time the attitude of many people is sufficiently different that buying of physical metal will prevent wholesale manipulation to decimate physical metal prices.
Whether this will precipitate a collapse of bullion banks is too premature to know. 2 cents.

It is an odd situation at the moment… almost as if we are waiting for something to happen in Syria or Korea. Dangerous times.

The Syria thing is awful – the US and UK seem to have sided with the bad people against other bad people. But the bad people we are backing are the worst bad people.

Syria is on the oil pipeline list …….and one of the countries the deep state wants to take down according to Gen W. Clark….per C.A.Fitts

Fully agree Jerry, except I think it’s more gas than oil.

RFK spelled it out very well:

(I know I posted this before, but it’s such an important article I’m posting it again for those who missed it.)

          thanks again for posting……

I think you are correct on the gas in lieu of oil……….thanks for the correction….J

I think Trump is done with Syria.

The bad public opinion poles and Russian criticism have educated him. He may be an amateur at politics, but he is not stupid.

        Interesting thought.

How bad is Assad, really? Honest question. Not as bad as those the US, Israel, and gulf state allies are backing. I don’t put a preference on lives, Christian vs Muslim vs etc., but it seems he is the only thing standing between various religious groups and either renunciation of faith, brutal death, or refugee status.

I often hear he’s a monster. But I haven’t seen the evidence. And given the US/Neocon consistent record in dishonestly demonizing those they want to destroy, I need evidence in order to buy it. Any links welcome.

I understand that he never expected to govern Syria, and was an ophthalmologist (or optometrist?) in England until his brother’s death forced this role on him. As Lew Rockwell pointed out, he’d probably prefer to still be in England. If he doesn’t prevail, he and his family may well be Gadhaffi’d — not a pleasant prospect.

        Apr 28, 2017 28:30 PM

I prefer Assad to Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren.

          Apr 28, 2017 28:53 PM

          Absolutely.

            Apr 29, 2017 29:58 AM

Matthew, I forgot to mention Obama. Pelosi, Maxine Waters, and Schumer. I like Assad and Putin over that list of deplorables.

            Apr 29, 2017 29:20 AM

            Of course, I still agree.

Well, the COT commercials are starting to turn on silver and I repeat “starting”—they have a long ways to go. The net long of the disaggregated futures position increased by about 6000 contracts. It’s at least a start.

What think you of JPMorgan’s silver hoard?

Is it to provide COMEX liquidity in physical?

Is it to counterbalkance their losses in manipulation if they fail?

      Or what?

Doc can it’s amazing how good you have been these last 6 months! Having said that, I think we begin to turn up next week and for the rest of May to the $1340-1460 zone. Sold my Exeter this week and holding the rest like the turkey I am;) There are too many bears on gold and way too many Trumpy stock pumpers out there. I rather be a year early that a week too late.
