The Trump Bump and Optimism – How Long Can They Last?

Cory
August 3, 2017

Andrew Agemy, President of Agemy Financial Strategies joins me to day to discuss the “Trump bump” that the markets experienced since the election as well as the continued optimism in the markets. Even with nothing happening on the political front in terms of Trump getting anything done the markets are still continuing to climb higher. Optimism is also off of its peak for the year but investors remain net optimistic. Andrew makes the argument that even if Trump can get something accomplished, like tax reform, he says it is already priced in.

Thanks Cory. In these hum-drum days of summer, waiting for ‘something’ to happen, this interview was an excellent listen. It provided some statistics on records that I wasn’t aware they even existed. Simply can’t get the feeling off my gut that we’re in extraordinary times and tumultuous events are around the next corner. I just can’t see things going on like this for much longer……

A lot of this witch hunt to tie Trump to the communist Red Russian Scare that Americans have been fed since 1917 won’t last much longer. Mueller is much like Senator Joseph McCarthy and McCarthyism of the 1950’s, at some point the voting public will take off their sunglasses and see the glare for what it is, A trumped up witch hunt for political reasons to destroy The Donald. If they succeed, America will never again have a populist movement unless the people take their government back. DT

I warned on the weekend show that the powers aligned against Trump, and they are many and varied even within The Republican Party would convene a Grand Jury Investigation to tie The President to the communist red scare. Well here it is and Mueller is leading the charge, the end result is to try to bring impeachment proceedings against The President. These people are such fools, they will do anything to avoid losing their grip on power. The public which has been culpable for sixty five years ( McCarthy) better wake up. DT

Will Trump supporters still be relaxed if Putin invades and seies Estonia ? The Russian people are not the problem, Its Putin and his buddys who are ripping off the poor and sometimes unpaid workers in RUS . Forget tax reform , cant happen as its a revenue killer and the GOV is somewhat broke. Lots of business men cheat on thier taxes . I know my dad did for many years . He got fined a few times but basically he cheated and did not pay much tax for 25 years . Super low interest rates are what has been driving up the market . low rates are slowly rising and will kill this market in a year or 2 . I am in food and BEV companys now . love you all S

Russell s hamilton, how many countries has The US invaded since The Second World War, and you are worried about Putin maybe invading Estonia. Then you go on to say that your father was a tax cheat. Where are your moral values? DT
