An Introduction to Bonterra Resources

Cory
August 15, 2017

I had the opportunity to sit down with the management of Bonterra Resources (TSX.V:BTR & US:BONXF) at the recent Sprott Conference. As many of you know I am very interested in the Windfall Lake district which Bonterra is well positioned.

Todd Hanas, VP Investor Relations joins me to provide an overview of the Company focusing on the properties. A 60,000 meter drill program is underway which comprises mainly exploration drilling. The Company is cashed up with some strong shareholders.

Please let me know what you think of Bonterra and if you have any follow up questions for Todd and his team. Feel free to email me at Fleck[at]kereport.com.

If Novo keeps going the speculative imagination of the public will get drawn into the junior golds again. There is nothing like greed to excite The American public. The public cannot resist the appeal of a surging market in gold stocks brought about by a junior explorer that has caught fire. People always want one thing in life and this dwarfs all their other fantasies, People Want To Get Rich Quick.” The people will buy every promising gold junior if they see a huge deposit in Novo Resources. By most historical comparable measures Novo is now getting over-priced. People are believing/hoping the Witwatersrand hypothesis is correct, but there is a long way yet to develop a resource.

Novo has been excessively generous in handing out options……in my opinion….

I think Bonterra is on Marin Katusa’s top 3 stocks for 2017

      Aug 16, 2017 16:19 AM

Was also Rick Rules top pick his last time on bnn

      Aug 16, 2017 16:55 AM

      Mike:
Marin is one of the brightest. Now that he is own his own(no more Doug Casey) I am a little more skeptical of his calls .Example Northern Dynasty,Doug Casey to.
Go back and look at my December posts saying it was time to get in the Urban with Osisk’o cotinued success.

        Aug 16, 2017 16:56 AM

Also I will add that Rick Rule said all along Northern Dynasty was to risky.

        Aug 16, 2017 16:15 PM

JohnK – agreed. I think Katusa is a sharp guy but he didn’t just blow it Northern Dynasty, but also (BBI) Blackbird Energy and (AKG) Asanko Gold.

It is good to be somewhat skeptical of any newsletter writer’s analysis, but one can learn a great deal by getting a range of opinions. Some of the Katusa research team’s work is very well done, (particularly around Uranium, although even that is not with some misinformation and an extreme slant to positioning things around his buddy Amir Adnani @ UEC). There are question from some investors about their initiation of positions versus when they release coverage of a company and when they may be exiting positions into the liquidity. Also the RR, Casey, Katusa click do all kinds of Private Placements where they get the warrant and blow out many shares hanging onto the warrants and don’t play in the same universe with the majority of retail investors, so their actions and positions should be taken with a grain of warrant salt.

          click = clique

Bonterra and the whole area play around Osisko’s Windfall discovery is very exciting at present, with Metanor, Secova, and Beaufield in close proximity as well.
