The stock price for the NY Times suggests the opposite. Look at the chart for NYT since the 2016 election. Stock price up more than 50%.

Big AL, we don’t have enough people who are concerned with overturning the herd mentality anymore. We had Menken in the 1920’s but who do we have today.
The herd is responsible for a lot of our woes past and present. Things like censorship, prohibition, fundamentalism, the Ku- Klux Klan, very few people now look to overturning the views of the majority. Thanks to you we have a chance here to express the alternatives. DT
