“The Little Engine that Could” a personal observation from Big Al

About six years ago, during a very bad resource market, I invested in a company called Soho Resources and thought I had lost all of my money. After much hardship, the company came back with a different name, “Telson Resources” and is in the early stages of production. I bring this up because Ralph Shearing is a guy who never gives up and I certainly admire that. DO NOT CONSTRUE THIS AS BEING INVESTMENT ADVICE!

I visited Soho in London in 1973 and decided not to invest there. I went to the Hague in Hollandia and invested in Royal Dutch Petroleum instead. It was selling at 4 times earnings and yielding 8% John Templeton owned a lot of it too.
